“Purchased a replacement remote control. Pros: Service, price and speed of delivery all excellent. Cons: Original had a wiring block to plug into. The one that was supplied had different wiring pins. had to cut and solder old block onto replacement before installation. Installation proved difficult as the case is not designed to be assembled from the outside and there does not seem to be a fixed point for the reciever, just seems to be jamed in there and wires get squashed. Would be a lot easier if the cover could be accessed without having to remove from the bullbar and everything inside had a nice neat place to go with a little room to move. Just my thoughts, regards Andrew”

“Winch is great, but had a few issues with supplied hardware. One out of 4 split rings was too small, bolts for fairlead not long enough to use supplied split rings and washers. Also bought the additional isolator bracket, but there was one already in the box. But in saying that the winch itself is a beast and I bloody live it!”

“Brought a carbon winch in 2019. The isolator switch stopped working in 2022. When talking to them on the phone they really knew their stuff which was great but also admitted the older isolation switches had problems. Would have been nice if they offered to replace mine. I ended up buying their newer one from them and an inline fuse. Otherwise, great winch, fair price, fast delivery and easy to deal with. Will shop with them again”

“Gday! I was convinced to buy your product after a family member recommended you guys, I was totally satisfied by the arrival time of the product, and am looking forward to using and sharing your gear, On the other hand I approached your social media outlet account “Instagram” in regards to the possibility of including a free t shirt with the delivery of my new carbon winch... (I did not know shirts were available until I’d made the purchase online otherwise I would have ordered at the same time) I have not had a response for close to 5 weeks, i understand if not possible but a response would have been great!!! Kind regards”

“Advice from Carbon over the phone was good. After placing my order the gear arrived but stuff was missing. This was sorted promptly and the missing items arrived quickly which was appreciated. The bolts included for the fairlead with the Scout Pro winch are no-where near long enough though. I suspect this is because the Scout Pro comes with a new thicker fairlead but the bolts were to suit the previous thinner fairlead. When I mentioned this to Carbon I was made to feel like this problem was unique to me, that the bolts are correct and told that if I needed longer ones I would have to source them myself. To be honest I was just giving Carbon the heads up so they could maybe look into this before they had hundreds of customers contacting them about the same thing. I felt the response from Carbon on this could have been handled better. I got new longer stainless steel bolts and all installed nicely.”

“Happy with the winch so far.Although the back nuts on the motor connection should have been made wider.As you have to grind down a 13mm spanner to fit behind lug when tightening otherwise it becomes trapped.”

“All fitted and going no problems fitting except the two longer bolts that go through the hawse and front mount of ARB bar the bolts only had two threads to hold on to.l got two longer bolts to do that job.The rest of the fit was a breeze the product looks the goods l still need to re rap the rope.l did not receive a snatch block (thought that was included) l happy with my purchase, thankyou Peter.”

“Not used it that much, works well. Fitted well, seems well made. Things I don't like are the engagement lever is loose and weak feeling and the control box mount is not able to be fitted correctly how I wanted it.”

“Hi Guys, love the products and so far you guys have been really good in helping with any questions or information I have been after. One piece of feed back I would give is that your specials are really hard to accept when the timeline for delivery of some products is lengthy. I ordered my products in July and had to wait until October to receive them only to have the same product FORD RANGER RAPTOR 2019+ hidden winch in bumper mounting plate go on sale 2 days after recieving it with a price drop of $200. Leaves me with buyer remorse about my purchase thinking I should have waited for it to be in stock. Pre orders help you but shouldn't be at the customers expense. hopefully this feedback is well recieved. I am a business owner so understand not everythinbg is perfect but always there to be improved.”
