I purchased a Carbon 12K 12000lb Electric Winch with Black Rope & Hook VER. 3 with a few other items the winch was dispatched the next day, but it's been a week and I have no information about when I can expect the other items to be posted or arrive! So my winch has been sitting in its box for 4 days now because I am still waiting for other items to install it!

Once again we had delivered the wrong front struts tower mounts and the threads being stripped and spring washers straightened. The only saving grace for you guys was Callum sending us new ones with in 3 days so we could get the customer on the road. How about some quality control to be sure the parts are correct and the fitting is done correctly

I did make a purchase and happy with the product but it did take 6 months + to arrive. I understand it’s probably not all carbons fault the way every thing is in the world but it was a bloody long wait.

I paid for overnight delivery and the item turned up a week later with no explanation for the delay or offer of a refund for the additional cost of the non-overnight delivery. Apart from that the item is perfect. Disappointed with the delivery service.

As a distributor reseller and installer, I am very disappointed with the following: 1. lack of communication. 2. Not replying to emails and phone calls. 3. Costing my business extra money on fitting front mono coils that have not been adjusted correctly. So far over $630.00 additional fitting charges on 2 sets. 4. Slow in getting quotes back, so I can forward them to our customers, I am losing their business due to this. 5. As a reseller we should have a minimum of 14 days from the dispatch date so we are not out of pocket waiting for your team to get our order together. Eg currently has been waiting 2 weeks on Ford suspension and still have no dispatch date. 6. Your products are great but maybe your staff are overwhelmed by customers, maybe resellers should have a priority as we are pushing your equipment.

Sadly not happy with the product. The rubber protector was not attached to the hook (should have been glued on) and the actual pin is visibly drilled crooked.

Too ages to dispatch the items. Had to follow up a few times by phone and email If I didn't follow up would have not gotten the recovery gear prior to my trip.

Once the sale is done, don't expect any support , thats how I saw it, sent 2 emails 8/11 and 9/11 , never received a reply to either, still to date 18/11 8/11 The package was delivered Open , I asked for a packing list to see if anything was missing. 9/11 The mounting bolts should have been 2 long and 2 shorter, mine were all short bolts , therefore with the FairLead mounting was not possible , I had to get 2 longer bolts to secure the FairLead to the Bullbar. Pretty poor service overall when I needed it. The Product R88 Winch is just acceptable, the Contactor unit hard to mount securely...bad design I feel. Shame really, heard good things about this company, that was not my experience.

I purchased my carbon 12,000lb winch specifically for a trip to Cape York superseding my old winch which was out dated and only 9,000lb pulling power. With a large heavy 200 series Landcruiser I required something with a bit more pulling power. The Carbon winch appeared to fit my requirements and with a 5 yr warranty, 12,000lbs pulling power, breather extension, wireless remote and an Australian company I thought why not. I had my winch for approximately 2 months, used it once on the old Tele track and failed by blowing a solenoid. To Carbons credit they sent me a replacement solenoid, to which I replaced even though it is under warranty., this did fix the current problem but has left me annoyed and apprehensive that should I need to use the winch again to save me, I have 0% confidence in the winches ability to do what was designed to do! I also think do I now need to take a spare solenoid with me on a winch that is now 4 months old just in case it lets me down? And why should I have to purchase a solenoid to take with me next time just in case it decides not to work? I like the idea of supporting local, but disappointed when this occurs first time use!

I purchased Carbon 12K 12000lb Electric Winch With Synthetic Rope(#N13115). It supposed to come with the remote control. I couldn’t find it in the box. I called them 3 times and no one answered and called me back

After sales service poor. Was told that Carbon Winches would replace the operating stickers an wiring terminal covers as they deteriorated on a very hot day in Rockhampton. Photos were sent originally. Also the winch rope faded and was told nothing could be done. So I no longer trust the strength of the winch roof.

I bought the 12k winch earlier this year, it broke on its 2nd weighted pull so got onto the warranty department the next day about it with no dramas. Flash forward two and a half months without word (covid was kicking off so left it a while just incase of auspost), turns out my request got lost in the system..no dramas, the end cap with T-handle and ring gear was express posted and replaced without hassle but didn't fix the issue. I called the warranty guys again and they said they'd express out a whole gearbox and try that. Three weeks pass without word, same story. When the gearbox did arrive it sorted the issue and havent had any worries since. I hope I just got the lemon of the batch, but am glad Carbon did follow through on the warranty.
