Hi Lachlan, would you be able to call us to clarify a few things as we're a bit confused here. Originally you raised a dispute with afterpay to say you never received your item. We looked into this for you with the courier and established that it had been collected from the post office. So I'm guessing you have received your item now and are unhappy with it? If it isn't what your ordered or expected we're more than happy to rectify the issue for you, you just have to get in touch and let us help resolve your issue.
After I've paid more than 1000$ for the winch, I've lost some nuts they asked me to buy the replacement part for 40$ desperate.. bet you this review will not be published? Lol

Hi Vito Sorry to hear you've had a bad experience, unfortunately if you do lose parts from your product we can't replace them under warranty and therefore the cost of replacements plus postage needs be covered by the customer

If I could give a negative rate I would. By far the worst online purchase experience I have had. When I placed the order in mid May they were supposedly in stock. I received notice that they were NOT. Contacted the company at the end of May and was advised the stock was coming from overseas and wouldn't arrive in time for my upcoming trip. Received an email in July ( more than 3 months after initial order) advising a FURTHER delay and product not due till early Sept. Raised a further dispute on 26 September as I still hadn't received the order. It had apparently been marked as "pick up" and hadn't been dispatched. FFS I'm in the ACT........I'm not driving 2000km to pick-up a frigging order. It was always meant to be delivered. It was probably changed to stop the instock part of the order from being delivered while I was away in June. This should have been corrected when the full order came into stock. Poor attention to detail and follow-up. The order was finally dispatched at the end of September more than 4½ months after placement and PAYMENT. There was the occasional lame apology for the delay in the correspondence with the company but it came across as disingenuous. It seemed no one really seemed to care about the inconvenience and disappointment this delay caused. The impression I got was it was all too hard ...so suck it up. I'm well aware of the issues Covid and the disruption it caused to the supply chain but I got no indication that the company was doing anything to overcome the difficulties they were having. The communication could have been better and shown a bit more concern. I had previously purchased a Carbon 1200 Winch and got great service from the distributor. I posted a good review and the products seem of good quality but the appalling service makes question whether I would purchase from Carbon Offroad ever again.

Ordered and paid for a CW-OMBO and a CW-MP5TH, on the 5/5/2022. Salesman Greg. Invoice and Shipment both had incorrect Address, so the order came to the N.T but failed to be delivered, even though my phone No. was on the delivery docket, no one bothered to ring me to sought out the address problem, could have been fixed in a manner of seconds. So the order was sent back to QLD. Since then after being promised to keep me informed, (by Greg) Nothing. Even after Ive rang him 2 or 3 times. No offer to resend order, when all items are available or a refund, just empty promises and effort. Needless to say not very happy with the service. Order NO. N17970 Oh by the way its Gary Chatto NOT Thatto 65 Harrison NOT Carison Circuit. Still waiting.

Here’s a picture of how the parcel arrived, needless to say I’m not impressed. Brand new winch rope turns up scuff marks all over it and looking secondhand. it’s annoying when I spend good money on a product and you guys can’t even bother to put any effort into ensuring your product arrives at your customer in the same condition it left your warehouse.

Very disheartening feeling shocking customer service and still missing parts to what was broken when winch arrived. Thought coming to a named brand would produce results. Unfortunately not.

Bought a new carbon winch, came with a broken isolation switch, a switch bracket that didn't fit and a control box that was not put together correctly with pinched wires, bent base plate and insulation on the terminals that stopped it working properly. Carbon didnt want to know me and did nothing under warranty for nearly 6 months. Never been treated so badly would not recommend Carbon to anyone.

Our records indicate that we responded within a timely manner and dispatched the parts you required to resolve the issue with the isolator switch handle. We also noted that you told us you wanted no further help so we decided to close your case after we believed your situation was resolved. We found it somewhat concerning that upon checking our dispatch records you were accidentally sent a pallet of 5 carbon winches, and not once mentioned to us that the winches were in your possession until we came across the issue ourselves and had to directly ask you if you had those winches. I guess it serves to give anyone reading this review a bit of an insight into the type of person you are and how valid your claims are. We appreciate and work hard for all of our customers. Whether they are reasonable to us in return or not doesn't affect how we strive to solve problems and deliver excellent service to our network.
I ordered the winch with a number plate flip up kit. The winch was sent but the flip up kit was placed on back order. I've received 0 communication about the flip up kit in over 2 months. Very poor service!

Took 5 weeks to deliever and all the brass on the gauge and valve assembly looks like it’s been in a lake for 100 years, the foam inside the case is allready falling off and no longer stays put, not to stoked on the quality as it costs more then a adventure kings ‘kwiky’ but their appearance seems way better and they actually seem new

Wasn’t very impressed. When ordered winch no delay in shipping was mentioned . A week later website mentioned delays due to moving . Two unanswered emails to customer service regarding delivery . Shipping details on my account stated no tracking data available . Finally rang customer service, who was helpful, it turned out was being delivered that day, lucky I went looking for it as in unsecured area. Box was damaged. First part of Winch rope upon unpacking looked liked it had been dragged along concrete. Don’t imagine I’m going to win promo pack

The Carbon winch I got was very poorly put together and had faulty parts I'm still waiting to be replaced. When talking to the Carbon staff all I got was excuses as to why no one answered the phone or replied to the web site online complaints page. The main problems are with the control box (incorrectly assembled ending up with a bent base plate) and isolation switch (switch was cracked and the bracket did not fit the switch) - still waiting for the switch and bracket! All-in-all a very unpleasant experience and a useless winch.
