I purchased laminate for our kitchen floor from the Torquay branch. The laminate price was good and the salesman,Darren, very helpful. The fitter was excellent and we were pleased with the result. However, I had to return some items to the shop which were surplus to our requirements - beading, underfelt and profile to obtain a refund(having been told previously that I could do this.) On the day I returned these items I spoke to another salesman. This salesman was abrupt and rude and questioned my right to return the items and questioned who had told me that I could return them. His attitude was poor and he could not have been more unhelpful. For the benefit of any Carpetright customer service staff who may read review this, the salesman’s name begins with S. Fortunately, Darren the salesman who I had purchased the laminate from appeared and the matter was easily resolved. But the incident left a bad taste on what was otherwise a good experience. My rating for salesman S is 1. Poor and 4. Good for the others

Ordered carpets & lino 6 weeks later they were delivered by the fitter who was very good. Found the lino was rolled up with pattern on outside and taped so glue was stuck to it fitter tried to get most of it off but husband had to do rest. Could have done without the extra work.

Carpet Right Watford 3.5 stars definitely not the greatest Ordered and paid for carpet/ underlay,grippers etc (all the same )to be fitted in 4 bedrooms but 1 bedroom at a time, which they were more than happy to do. 1st room 5 stars 2nd room booked a pm appointment ! fitters called to say they would be with me at 10am ?? they finished the job and asked me to have a look. I stood on the carpet and it didn’t feel the same as previous job !! at which point the fitter eventually disclosed they had used a different underlay. They tried to tell me it was a superior quality, it wasnt . I called the store , told my underlay was not in stock so they replaced with a dearer one ?? it was dearer only because it was a more environmentally friendly product NOT superior. I did accept as we needed the room back to commence next room . rooms 3 and 4 ok other issue was we ordered an additional door bar to be fitted which each fitter said we haven’t got that on our paperwork , they were lying , as i have photo evidence to the contrary.. It was fitted poorly, redone yet to see if it holds up

Do not order beds from carpetright you wait weeks for delivery they use last mile solutions to deliver how give u a day and don.t turn up keep away from carpet right

This company is useless,the girl in the shop didn't pass on my mobile number to the carpet fitters in the result I missed them,the shop said they would phone in the morning for another appointment which they never did.ordered Lino at the same time that was four weeks ago and iam still waiting as I've just moved into a new flat and I can't get it finished as I've no floor covering in the kitchen,hall and bathroom spent nearly eight hundred pounds,their customer service is non existed .Never use them again or recommend them to anybody.This was the Dumfries branch.

Went to Waterlooville shop to purchase a new bed. Both members of staff helpfull and we we're happy to order and pay for a new bed

Have always had carpet right for years but the last fitting 18 months ago for my lounge, stairs and landing isn’t up to standard. The carpet in our lounge started to crease in an area after 6 months so the fitter came out and stretched it. The same has happened again in the same place after 1 year. As the carpet is now over 1 year old Its not guaranteed. I wouldn’t recommend the fitters.

Well ordered a lovely carpet for our stairs. Looking forward to day of fitting which arrived with the fitters carrying in the most horrendous carpet I have ever laid eyes on. A throw back to the 1970s. The lovely fitters thankfully took this horrid thing out of my home. The boys were lovely and laid a correctly ordered bedroom carpet but sadly could not lay new hall floor as the guy who came out the previous week to measure failed to say it was a hardwood floor coming up so no joiner was supplied. The service from the shop when I rang about these issues was awful, blaming warehouses or saying not my fault. We are 5 days on and no word about floor or carpet so I rang and am sat waiting on the promised call back 3 hours on! We paid in full but had I known the service would be so shocking I would have gone elsewhere. Only plus point the lovely carpet fitters

Had vinyl laid in my kitchen and 7 months on its got bubbles coming up all over it rang Carpet right and wa s promised a call from the fitters to rectify it 4 days later no phone call and looks like we will have to replace the flooring at our own expense disgusted and would definitely not recommend for either carpets or any other flooring as the fitters are cowboys

Coventry Store service good. Lead time to fitting good. Fitter did not use new grippers or threshold bars, taking them away with him. Told me store would refund me. Not true. Store said fitter had to refund me and would contact me. Also not true. Given up on my £ after 6 weeks trying . If Coventry store tell you fitter is called Tom, ask for another fitter. I did not get a refund.

I would never use these again, I was warned off before of how bad they are, floor fitter didn’t turn up on date as he explained was having a domestic!! Absolute bodge job, flooring started to rise within a week of fitting. Contacted store explained situation and was told you can’t move objects across vinyl flooring as it rips!! One question how do you clean under the fridge freezer? Clearly not supposed to clean you’re kitchen area. No adhesive was put on to secure the flooring so air bubbles appeared. Overall terrible

purchased a carpet from Stevenage store fitting day was Saturday the 28 oct. Rang the store on Friday to confirm time and was told fitter would ring me half hour before due to arrive. Also shop was would confirm time for Saturday,No call and low and behold fitter turned up Saturday morning when we would be a afternoon appointment so fitter needed to come back after 12 so room was cleared.Carpet fitter was 1st class but store was poor at confirming appointment time.
