Very very bad company for water supply even don’t want to gave them any star. They keep overcharging

My experience with castle water has been a nightmare I wanted to switch away in august 2021 . They made nearly impossible I finally switched in January it’s now March and I am waiting for a refund . I have pleaded to them many time to process the refunds, but nothing ever happens

The mafia in disguise. They called me two years after I had left the premises and closed the company, to claim money from me for a premises which had the water bill included, owned and run by Workspace Group. They had previously also tried to bill me for an occupant who had hired the space in the years before I moved in. This is a company trying to look "respectable" but who behave with the mentality of the mafia. Their main occupation is bullying people for money, under the guise of water services.

It is a shambles and they do not know what they are doing. Wrong bills, ignored readings, NO customer service of any worth.

These clowns couldn't run the proverbial drinks do in a brewery let alone a water company. No bills, threatening letters due to non-payment of non-bills, daily interest on the previous and then legal threats for 88p accued interest. COWBOYS. Avoid.

Honestly Rubish service rip of no one person I spoke to seem to know what to do . They charge me back for few years and I was not even a customer with them they took the account without my permission I don’t even agree contract with them and they want to charge unbelievable number. If I have a water park I will not have this bill . Can’t describe enough how bad this castle water . They should change the name to the Rubish service water

Dreadful company. Mismanaged my account. Overcharged. Sent threatening letters. Never dealt with my formal complaint. Blamed Thames Water for everything. Avoid if possible.

Awful company. Keep overcharging me. No scruples. Rude and unhelpful. Daylight robbery. The worst company I have ever had the misfortune to do business with. They should be shamed of themselves. Overcharging all the time. They need to be investigated.

I posted a review on Trustpilot, but then realised that the 4.6 star average rating for a water company looked wildly out of place. I reviewed a few of the comments and there are a remarkable number of single review 5 star comments (with no business names) and one that has several 10s which are just copy pasted every month. This site looks more like my experience. Avoid if possible.

Very poor Company to Customers & Staff. CEO on a power trip how he has ever written books on ethics is beyond a joke. Do yourself a favour and go to another company like Business Stream.

If you can avoid Castle Water do so, Unhelpful, non-responsive, quick to appoint bailiffs for incorrectly addressed bills (nothing to do with us) wont change meter or read meter - even when I was able to provide a reading they would not credit the over estimated bill..... and so on. Shouldn't be allowed to trade I agree with every other comment below.

Castle water is a morally bankrupt company with no ethics whatsoever - so I read with interest that the ceo John Reynolds has written books on business ethics - they have put my business and staff at risk by totally immoral business practices, including totally ignoring requests for meter reads, checks and just read and ignore emails.. it hs taken months to get to nowhere but an increasing bill and no water.. if you find you are with castle when you move in to a premises move immediately

The worst company I have to deal with in my business, they took over from affinity water and my bills doubled ,they charged me for water when my business was closed for 33weeks due to covid lock down ,I wasn't using any water idiots . Was told it would get sorted but then there dept recovering company sent me threatening letters . Recently my bill increased by £250 over a weekend after being told once again that there would be no more charges whilst they investigate the complaint and the bill would be put on hold till January, then surprise surprise another letter today to pay the bill. About time this sxxt show of a company gets investigated, MINUS 10☆ would be my real rating if I could.

As per the comments below; they are trying to charge me for a bill which doesn't relate to me. I purchased the property on 3 Sept 2021 and they want me to pay a bill from 1 Jan 2021 - Aug 2021!?!? Sent emails to CEO, customer service etc... None have been responded to. They keep sending threatening letters etc... Anyway, i will ignore all from now. They can take me to court if they like! Had similar problems with them in 2017. Took 4 years to resolve. The most retarded company i have ever dealt with. I cannot believe a firm like this is allowed to operate something as important as mains water in the UK. CEO needs to be executed!!!

The most disgusting company I have ever had the misfortune encounter within my whole career. Take a look at their Company accounts and decide for yourselves the level of corrupt negotiations they force upon their clientele. If Castle Water was a ‘intimate relationship’ my advice would be to run, run, run as fast as you can!

Finally, after two years of challenging their charges, and fighting off their debt collectors/solicitors, we got our bill corrected from nearly £17,000 to just £5,000. All I can say is, check your bills very very carefully as they clearly do not have any reliable internal procedures to prevent over-charging and they refused to accept our meter readings even when backed up with photographic evidence.

We were incorrectly placed with Castle Water (we're domestic not business). They currently hold over £4,000.00 of my money that they keep telling me they will refund me as my account is in credit. Months have passed with numerous phone calls and still no refund. I starting to think they are going bust!!
