“I was pleased to find that the vehicle was not stolen or an insurance write off which was the main reason for my check. There was equal information in the printout that would equate to the same costing almost £20. I was not happy to find that although the vehicle make an model was correctly identified on the initial search, the main report only identified it as a motorcycle with the correct colour; giving the last two digits of the VIN and an engine number. I'd guess that is down to one data base not transferring information to another.”

“I've bought many cars in 40 years - raced some, rebuilt some, (including my current kit car of 31years. NEVER bought a "lemon"......but things change....and I would not think of purchasing any car these days without your statistics/information Well done again.......it was "a lemon" , so i'm still looking ? “Quick - in fact instant! Complete and comprehensive report. Wish I had used UKVehicle.com before! Would recommend everyone uses it before buying a used car. I would have saved hundreds of mis-spent pounds if I had. (Dealer neglected to mention that my previous purchase was a written-off repair, worth a fraction of the 'book price' when it was written-off for a second time.) Don't hesitate; spend that £3.99!”

“Simple, inexpensive and instant vehicle check. So easy to use and a whole lot more information than just the insurance claim status. All details of the vehicle type, tax rate, mot due date, how long the present owner has kept it, previous owners, and a whole lot more. Very highly recommended!”

“I wanted to check some vehicle from autotrader advertise.I checked on two websites.Both of them informed me that everything is clear,super ,right.... Seller was a tief and car belong to absolutely someone other...I have lost 4100pounds.... I paid for check and? Nothing .Vehicle exist ,I paid for it but Im still walking...”

Hi Sylwia, we're very sorry to hear your story. If a car is registered stolen with the Police or Insurance Companies, we will tell you. If a car has not yet been reported stolen, there's no way of us being able to tell that. You should always check that a seller's Photo ID matches the details on the V5C before buying a car. If you're not already in contact with the Police you should also report this to them to try and get your money back.
