Initially, using Cazana was a positive experience. Before going to look at a car, I'd check details regarding it using the number plate and decide whether or not to continue my interest in it. However, at some point three years ago, various features were removed such as owner changes, registration swaps and one free valuation meaning there was no longer a reason to favor Cazana over other history checkers. This was a shame, as they really had a USP over other car checking services. Things appear to have gotten worse still since the takeover by Cazoo as an error message appears when trying to access the website. It won't be long until this once resourceful website is forgotten about.

I purchased 5 car check HPI pack which worked as it should. The only issue is that the platform didn't save the HPI checks so when I ran the same number plate again it wanted to charge me.

I was interested in the MOT history of my car. Was unable to get this information. Was hoping to uncover information about possible plate changes which also weren’t in the data set so overall waste of money for me.

The prices are displayed on the screen to enable you to purchase the correct check for you, whether it is a single check or a multi check.

Instant report but most of the details were available for free online. MOT data was not up to date only reporting 2019 and earlier dates. Regarding previous articles offering vehicle for sale it provided details but not the source and date. I eventually found the details using open-source research. Would not recommend

They don't make it easy for you to get other checks done after you buy more than one Web site not as easy to use as total car check

I'm sorry you had problems retrieving your other checks. When your initial check is made we create an account which has a temporary password. This password just needs to be reset to enable you to access the rest of the checks.

Service fine but results of doubtful merit in dispute with Insurer. This is because the valuation is based only on data at DVLA and the valuation that I was given did not have the correct up to date mileage of the car which is 10% lower than that estimated mileage by your algorithm based programme. On questioning the result you had no way of amending the valuation to a fair value. Other authorities such as the Financial Ombudsman would receive similar misleading results.

Our prices are as follows: Gold check - £19.95 for 5 checks (at £3.99 each) - contains full information but only available as a bundle of 5 One off check - £14.99 for a single full check The price of your chosen purchase is clearly stated at checkout.

Sorry but your report didn't show that the car was actually a badly damaged repair. I found the pictures of it on an auction site and it was equivalent to either a Cat S or Cat N before repair. Your report gave the car a clean bill of health.

I already knew the Car was a Category S, I wanted to know details of the damage to the Car, information supplied was almost worthless (& over priced, I could have got the same information for £1.99), never again

Highlighted the car was a Cat N however gave no details of what the Cat N was? If you are offering a so called comprehensive report as advertised then more details must be included as I could have obtained the same report for significantly less than what I was charged for this report.

Cat N (formerly D) - vehicles have not suffered structural damage, so the issue may be cosmetic or have a problem with the electrics that isn't economical to repair. Don't assume that these vehicles are safe to drive - non structural vehicles faults may include brakes, steering or other safety related parts

you do not send a link so you can redeem your other purchase. This is something you need to look into. Without this how are you supposed to know how to redeem them. Waste of money and sad you cant redeem

FOUND THE RIGHT DATA VERY QUICKLY BUT NO REPORT EMAILED OR SAVED ON THEIR WEBSITE. SO UNABLE TO ACCESS IT ONCE WEBPAGE IS CLOSED.

Hi Billy A report should have been sent to the e mail that was provided when the check was purchased. Sometimes it does go into your spam or junk mailbox.
