Pretty costly for what you get. Headline price of around £7 is only if you buy a 3 pack. My check showed outstanding finance, but as others have noted, this is standard practice for main dealers so if the car is stolen it can't be easily sold on, but Cazana flag this as a problem.

After checking a motor bike on Cazana their report stated the bike had no MOT when I checked with the owner they stated the motor bike had an mot so I checked the next day by having to telephone the DVLA myself. I then found that the bike had a current MOT.This then lead to a delay in buying the bike which was subsequently sold to another person wasting a lot of my time and effort .If the information supplied had been correct I would have been in possession of the bike. Wasted money and time due to poor information supplied

I thought I would purchase a car check to avoid being duped when buying a 2nd hand car online. I was however disappointed to find the details Cazana provided were not realy anymore that I could have got for free from the govement web services. The printer friendly version of the report was not in my mind printer freindly at all. I bought the 3 car check as I thought it was a good deal, but probably wont bother to use my 2 remaining checks. So much for not being duped.

It claimed to be £6.65 for the check and when my PayPal receipt came through it took £9.99. I complained due to the principle of it and was informed that the £6.65 was "from"....well it didn't tell me before I paid that it was actually going to debit £9.99. Then when I got the check through it did nothing but state there were hidden things I didn't know about the car and to learn more it would need more money. Not a very transparent service and quite misleading. If I'd have known it was £9.99 is have purchased a check through the better known more transparent company.

The finance check was inaccurate as, finance had been cleared on vehicle at least a week previously. every thing else was accurate

Used uk vehicle as I have done in the past did not get report back so tried again also did not get report back then found that my PayPal account had two amounts deducted from it Went on to cazana and got report back and found out that uk vehicle is owned by Cazana Sent email but no reply

Slightly disappointed as bought a silver check. It said it would tell me of any accident history or any outstanding finances which was not the case. Then wanted £14.99 on top of what I'd already paid to tell me that information. Misleading information.

I received extremely worrying incorrect information regarding outstanding finance on a vehicle, in fact no financial interest was outstanding, and had been clear for months not days. This I had to verify by contacting the financial lender in person, who without breaching privileged information was helpful and extremely informative, so I did the work that truly mattered, and when I contacted Cazana they said "SORRY FOR THAT WE WILL UPDATE OUR RECORDS! no offer of a refund or partial refund at the very least, so in my opinion they were a waste of time and energy and not fit for purpose

The information regarding finance owing on the vehicle was wrong. I contacted the finance company, who informed me that there was no money owing on the car. Also the dealer showed me written proof that there was no finance owing. This incorrect information may have resulted in me not buying the car. I would like a full refund please.

Car check itself was fine, but paid by PayPal with multiple cards, and because the first failed (I used the wrong card) I had to check out a second time - although the website had changed all the product back from a single vehicle check to a 3 vehicle check at £10 more. I contacted Cazana for support - no reply - so I opened a PayPal dispute, no reply, fortunately PayPal refunded me the difference. Ultimately I got what I paid for after disputing through PayPal. It's a shame as otherwise site is well presented, the vehicle check I bought was good value and continues to be updated since I purchased the vehicle.

I was attracted to the Google advert for Cazana HP checks suggesting a thorough search of the relevant registers from only £6.99 for a used car l am intending to purchase. I took the 'Gold' option for£9.99 and the search came up with a warning suggesting that the initial finance (over three years) had not been cleared and therefore the purchase of the car should be avoided. I immediately got onto the garage with whom l'd already paid a large deposit to reserve the car to complain and ask what was going on. They confirmed that the car did not have any finance connections any more and was therefore 'clear' according to their checks with another HP check company. I then, for peace of mind, paid £19.99 to the same company to 'double check' these details which indeed came up clear !!! On this basis l've gone ahead and paid the balance owing for the car. I have therefore wasted £9.99 with Cazana whose records or ability to search and do what they advertise is untrue. Please refund my fee of £9.99 Look forward to your reply and confirmation of refund. When I checked my car registration with your free check it told me something had happened to the car in 2011 which prompted me to pay for a history check. The results came back all clear and I feel I was prompted to buy a cazana car check based on misleading information.

Much of the information in the report was included in the free check available until a few weeks ago. I appreciate you would like to make money for your service but £14.99 for the extra little information was steep. You also reported the amount of previous owners incorrect, completely missing a registered owner change in 2013.

Cazana only told me what I already found free of charge on dvla website. Kept asking me if I wanted more info to pay more money! Waste of money in my opinion. Go to MOT checker on .gov site free.

I paid for 3 reports. After the first report was on screen I asked to e mail to my e mail account. Nothing happened. I closed that report assuming it would be kept on file as the system was showing my name. I ordered another report which came on screen and asked (again) to send to my e mail account. Nothing happened. I closed down and started up again but could not log in as I never set up a password. I used the "Forgotten Password" function and had a note saying an e mail had been sent to my e mail account. Nothing happened. As I could not log in or retrieve my reports I asked for a basic search on the third vehicle of interest but would have to pay the full amount in addition to the "3 quotes for £19ish pound charge" if I wanted it. I was not prepared to do that considering I still had a full report token left and had never received the first two. You took my money and did not provide the service for that money. You also have a system which does not allow me to resolve it. Very unhappy indeed.
