I've just paid to have a Cazana history check on a vehicle. I am buying a Northern Ireland cat S repaired vehicle which is for sale on the UK mainland, so I already knew it had been an insurance write off. However I was under the impression that would receive the previous MOT history. The only MOT record showing on your report is this year from the UK mainland which is obviously available for me to view on the free UK government MOT check site. I needed at least the MOT history of the car from it's previous years in Ireland. Your report did not tell me anything that I hadn't already read on your free information page apart from the fact that there was no outstanding finance on the car but the salvage dealer had already confirmed this anyway. I have to say I feel that I have completely wasted my money on your report and I am non the wiser about the vehicle I am buying.

Firstly I was charged £14.99 for a 1 gold check when the web page firstly I was charged £14.99 for 1gold check, when the web page said £9.99 for 1 (or £20 for 3). The report showed that the car was a ‘cat s’ failure, but no other info about that failure, or on its repair, subsequent DVLA blessing and reintroduction to the road or where to access any of that info. A simple ‘written off’ told me nothing! Furthermore a Cazana ‘fail’ meant what? I’m looking at a car that is on the road with a V5! Very overcharged and disappointed. Never again. Once bitten.

The information provided was somewhat misleading in that the report stated that the car had originally been blue in colour. This was manifestly incorrect, the car was signal red and had always been that colour- this was verified by the paint code on the VIN plate.

The check was fine. However it stated the gold check was from £6.65 I was quite shocked to find my PayPal had been charged £19.95. This wasn't displayed clear enough. In future I will use another company that is more upfront about the cost as this is expensive

It was very frustrating as the system took my money but the car report link wouldn't work - i didn't get it until the next day - but i had to make the decision on the car with out the knowledge the report would have given me.

Sorry but you did not tell me anything worthwhile about the car. There were several mistakes such as current mileage, value, mpg and other bits and pieces. Certainly not worth the cost you have charged and I consider that the information was not worth more than £2. I cannot ever recommend your service to anyone and a few of my associates agree. We were looking at purchasing a GLC 250 2017 modle so we decided to check on your website to see if the vehicle had been in accident or if any outstanding finance was owing on the vehicle. One of the other reasons was the road fund licence of £140 per year which helped us towards making the decision to buy the vehicle. Today we bought the vehicle and when i purchased the road fund licence which we found to our surprise of £450 per year. Just hope the rest of the information is correct?

Very little information. No valuation, no MOT history and nothing that could not have been obtained from elsewhere for free. No details of when previously for sale and nothing in timeline other than when first registered and current MOT. Incorrect basic information on the vehicle itself eg down as 5 speed auto when it is 6 speed. Very poor value for money.

Have to say I was very disappointed as the check does not show basics like plate changes, the number of owners or when changes in ownership happened, so I found it pretty useless in comparison to the HPI checks used in the past.
