I'm a bit disappointed with what you get for the paid service. The technical data was wrong for the car I checked (showed 4 cylinder engine when it's a 3 cylinder) the advert and MOT info are available for free, and the HPI part showed as CAT N (which is fine as I know this to be the case) but then has lots of red writing and the words FAIL all over the document (not very good to show a customer) All it needs to show are accurate facts without making a judgement. I buy and sell damaged vehicles and want to show customers a data check alongside photos of the repair but the reports are engineered to put anyone off buying a cat N or S vehicle. The valuation for this same vehicle was also £1200 higher than Autotrader or Parkers?

Hello, We do not receive any details relating to the personal information of the current or former owners. Previous owner details are only obtainable from the DVLA via a V888 form that can be found here https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/v888-request-by-an-individual-for-information-about-a-vehicle

Hi wanted to know if a car I was buying had hpi or written off so I wanted the cheapest one I could get so I ticked the box for £3.99 but I was charged £14 99 not happy?

It says write-off check but when you buy its asking you for gold member to fully check what you need Not going to recommend to anyone

Our free check will only give certain information. We have a gold check for £14.99 and also a multi check for £19.95 which gives you 5 gold checks for £3.99 each.

Paid 14.99 for a review of a Peugeot 2008 66plate got info about mots dating back to 2011 and with high miles 1st registration sept16 So 14.99 down the drain and no come back from Cazana

Ι keep buying 5 searches but I seem to be able to do only one search. I do not know what happens to the other 4!

You will need to log into your account to access the rest of the checks. When the first check was created, the account was given a temporary password so you will need to reset this. Once reset you'll be able to log in and access the other 4 checks. If you have any problems email us at support@cazana.com

I paid by Paypal for one vehicle check £3.95 but you took enough for five checks£14.99 which is not what i asked for. Very misleading.

The prices of our checks are shown on the checkout before a check is purchased. When the checkout page loads, the £14.99 check is chosen as the default option as this is the most popular check bought by our customers. If the silver check is not selected then a gold check will be purchased. To clarify, our multiple check is £19.95 which gives you 5 checks for £3.99 each.

I was disappointed that the report gave me little more information than I could have found for free on the DVLA website. The additional info, for what it was did not really help either. If Cazana really want to add value for those considering a car purchase the information has to be a lot richer and helpful than it is. Also the 'print friendly' summary contained less information than the web site report so was even less helpful. In summary I would advise others to go to the DVLA site first.

All checks are valid for 6 months. We can't go on any longer after that as the information can change.

In a nutshell I paid £15 for a full comprehensive vehicle check. FULL being the reason why. The results were appaulling. The owner change history only went back to 2017 therefore showing just 2 changes? The MOT history was nonexistent just the current mot status which you can obtain for free on Directgov website. There was however other minimal information like accident history, stolen, hpi check etc but it was far from a FULL comprehensive vehicle check so you don’t get peace of mind after parting with your money. Sent a complaint via email but never received a reply so clearly they are just about making money and not delivering what they say. Avoid paying for this service especially from this site as you maybe non the wiser and definitely out of pocket.

Engine number differed from car and logbook. Did not include latest MoT information.

Very basic check, would expect keeper change dates in addition to number of previous owners. Also confused by the fact that the car was a 52 plate yet the check indicated date of reg as July 03 which would ordinarily put the car on an 03 plate - did not appear to be a cherished plate and no suggestion of being imported??? This has put me off buying the car but niggling doubts in the back of my mind that check data is incorrect.

I felt that the information received was rather limited for the cost compared with other services I have used in the past. Items such as change of colour and/or registration was not available, which I know the vehicle had incured.

I had clicked on one car check.. when the payment went through it charged me 3 checks.. I rang to cancel the mistake and the phone number that was given was false and belongs to another company. Be careful
