“Original free to view info stated my vehicle was written off in 2004 however when I paid the fee to view full information it stated it had not been written off. Company contacted me regarding this and were very helpful and explained where the issue may have come from. Issued a full refund”

“The information was quickly received. I used it to check a vehicle for sale (on a well known vehicle website), The sale turned out to be a scam, the search helped me discover the true history of the vehicle and helped prevent me becoming a victim of fraud. It may have been useful to alert the owner of the vehicle that scammers were using photos of their vehicle for fraudulent purposes.”

“To be able to check the basic the details about a car you are are considering purchasing, allowing you to take some of the risk out of buying, is a very useful and worthwhile tool to have for such a small price. James, thanks for taking the time to review us. We're obviously disappointed to hear that you think we're only showing free data - we pay for MIAFTR (insurance industry database) and Police National Computer data so you can confirm whether or not the van has been stolen, written-off, scrapped, exported as well as a huge amount of additional DVLA data we call upon. To our knowledge, none of this is available publicly, or freely and so that's why we've built our affordable car check service. Do get in touch if you'd like to discuss further and point us towards the free DVLA checks you mention.
