I ordered & paid mid March & still haven't received my goods. I have emailed Green Valley twice & have not received a reply to date ! Very disappointed as I have dealt with Wells Poultry in the past & had a wonderful experience.

Exceptionally poor customer service. Delivery timescales very poor, bad communications. I tried to cancel my order due to long delay but GVP made things very difficult and refused to collect chicken feed. Overall a very unpleasant experience. I will never place another order with Green Valley Poultry.

We are aware that the delivery time was longer than the customer wanted although it was the service they chose and paid for. The order was placed on the afternoon of Thursday, 3rd March. Delivery option was the cheaper, non urgent service. We expect this to arrive within 8 working days but typically is 3-5 days. We also have a slightly more expensive service that would normally arrive in 1-3 days. 5 working days would be delivery on the 11th. The order was processed and despatched early in the week. On the 9th you contacted us saying "I URGENTLY need this order as I collect my Hens on Friday." We have no way to change the speed of delivery once processed. Had you not chosen the no urgent delivery it may have arrived earlier. The first part of the order did arrive on the 9th, the bags of feed arrived on the 11th. This is the timescale we expected throughout as heavy items like feed can't be handled automatically so sometimes take a little longer to arrive. On the 10th you asked to cancel the order. We said you could at your expense with the exception of the feed as it is a consumable and non returnable. We are not difficult about this - it is stated in the returns policy.

Appalling. Payment was taken in February 2016 for my order but I never received my large order of various items. Instead I received one item which I had not ordered. I emailed several times to ask for my correct order and to arrange for collection of wrong item, I had one reply but nothing further. I never received the goods that I paid for. Will never use this company again. This review is dated 5th April 2016.

I will never use this company again. I ordered a product from them, in November which they dispatched but I never received (£34 worth) When it didn't arrive I asked them to chase it up and despite phone calls and numerous emails politely asking for updates I have never heard back from them and am still out of pocket. Very poor customer service!

Really disappointed with Green valley poultry supplies, I have received a refund from my bank after not receiving the poultry feeder I ordered, after trying to contact the company several times by email and telephone with no reply from either I would not recommend this company and will not be buying anything else from them.

The refund was initiated by ourselves for an item that was ordered as a special order direct from supplier but was later found to be unavailable within a reasonable timescale.

Never received my order. I chased them up many times (by email/tel messages) but never managed to talk to somebody or receive email or any form of communication. Appalling service.

Having purchased a feeder, a drinker and a couple of stands back in October, I am still waiting for the refund on the second stand that did not arrive in the order. I called to say that it had not turned up, and not to bother sending another, I'd like a refund, to be told that it would 'be dealt with'. I have tried to call a number of times since, but have not managed to get through. As far as I am concerned they have stolen money from me, so will be highly recommending that others find an alternative supplier if they don't want to suffer the same loss.

Feeling ticked off. Ordered 2 heat lamp bulbs which came really quickly - great - until one blew after just 6 days use. Have spent 3 weeks trying to get hold of them, e-mailed, phoned, left messages, even posted on their facebook page - they seem to have dropped of the face of the earth. Their customer service is terrible - I'm just glad it was a £5 bulb and nothing too expensive

Well over one month ago I ordered some products against red mites. I received the goods in damaged condition and until today I still did not receive a new undamaged order. Emails have not been replied concerning this issue. I'm left in the dark here. Will I ever receive any of the ordered? I certainly hope so otherwise this was an expensive learning experience never to order there again. Customer service? No service at all!!!

Ordered red mite powder and lice powder for chickens who already had lice/mites. Delivery was supposed to be within a week but the products didn't arrive. I sent 2 emails and left messages on their answerphone, but no one ever got back to me. Over 5 weeks later the products arrived. By that time I'd bought alternative products from Amazon and had been using them for 3 weeks. VERY VERY SHODDY CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will be warning all of my poultry-keeping friends to avoid using this company.

They send the wrong product. When contacting them via there help desk, no response at all! Nobody answer the phone. So no after-sale at all

Hi Liam. I've checked the tracking and both orders you placed show as being delivered. One has a signature that looks like L Ryan, the other looks like B Ryan. You will have been sent the tracking details for both parcels so you can track them yourself. Please can you check that someone else with the same surname hasn't signed for them and not passed them on. If you can confirm you don't have the parcel we can report it.

After returning the order, I have contacted Green Valley twice in regards to a refund, no reply and no refund!! So I'll never be buying or recommending them in the future.

I paid for a 24 he delivery and it took a week. When I phoned to ask for a refund on the delivery charge I was told that that was fine but no refund happened. I did chase this up but still nothing. Won't use them again.

Hi. i'm sorry about the missed refund. i have tried to process it again but paypal say that the account is unable to accept money. Egg boxes have a longer lead time than most stock items so we allow to you order them to be despatched as soon as they arrive. We don't offer a 24 hour delivery service, we use a 24hr delivery service which means the order arrives the day after it is despatched so you need to add the despatch time to the carrier time to get the actual delivery time. The website does state that they have a longer than normal delivery time which i guess you missed. We are having the website re designed so hopefully customers will be able to see the delivery times more clearly. We would normally expect this order to be delivered in around a week. As we can't process a refund to you we're quite happy to offer you a discount on your next order.

Broken item sent, rang several times, no response. sent email and did get a response to ring someone else, I will never use this company again

Hi. If you have a door opener that is faulty the quickest and easiest way to have it resolved is to phone the number supplied on the instruction sheet as they are able to provide technical assistance. You could, of course, return it to us but that would take longer. We don't have a manned phone line, there is an answer phone service which is checked periodically or you can email.

Product took 3 weeks to arrive. At least three emails querying delay went unanswered. Finally an email was replied to saying that the person had been on holiday and the product would be resent. Shoddy service. People entitled to go on holiday but get someone to reply to queries surely??

I received my order in good time, however I'm missing 7.5 kg of chicken feed. I've sent several emails and tried calling lots of times, but no one answers the phone or replies to the emails. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

The goods were never delivered. PayPal had to intervene to have my money refunded. Never again.

Thank you for your review. As you are aware this order was dispatched to a 3rd party shipping agent that our carriers couldn't find. We requested a landline phone number to contact the company but you were unable to provide one. Once the items were returned to us we authorised the refund via paypal.
