About Chilton Furniture:

Chilton is a family-owned, Maine company dedicated to selling fine, wood furniture, all American-made. We are known for our Shaker-inspired designs, and also feature Arts & Crafts, modern and cottage style pieces in solid cherry, maple, ash, walnut, and quarter-sawn oak. We are also known for the quality craftsmanship of our custom work. Many of our pieces can be custom built to your specifications.

Much of our furniture is handcrafted in small Maine workshops, and we also work with boutique craftsmen in New Hampshire, Vermont and the Midwest, many of whom have been partners for decades. All of these cabinetmakers have a Shaker-like dedication to workmanship, function, and simplicity of line and form. All of Chilton’s pieces are built to our high standards, and a growing number are original, proprietary designs.

“Chilton worked very closely with us to design a custom tv stand. We started with an existing stand and modified it to fit our new media and space. It is gorgeous and we are thrilled! Are now working with them for a modified coffee table that will complement the tv stand. I would highly recommend Chilton to anyone!”

“We purchased a bed and 2 dressers from Chilton’s and they are absolutely perfect! The staff was very helpful and accommodating. They assisted us with choosing our set and making a few minor modifications so we would have exactly what we were looking for. We’ve owned the furniture for several months now and it has grown more beautiful with time. Overall, a great experience and a great outcome. Thank you!”

“My new bed is beautifully made and finished. It is a work of fine craftsmanship. The bed is sturdy and comfortable. The style looks at home with my antique chest of drawers. I love this bed. Also, the delivery service Chilton uses is excellent; they did a wonderful job setting the bed up.”
