“I have just purchased my second CW watch, a C70 Ascari 1925 COSC LE on the leather strap. It is a busy dial, but there's so much to look at (I do tend to study the dials somewhat, close up with a loupe too). It's nicely weighted and feels right on the wrist. The chrono function is superb, I have been starting the function a number of times just to see the hands reset - it's that good. My first CW timepiece was a Trident C60 GMT 600 (43mm) on the bracelet. Another beautiful dial and weighty casing. I have a number of heavier watches and they all, the GMT included) only feel heavy the moment they are put on. After a few seconds it's part of you, as any well fitting watch should be. I will no doubt become a CW customer again at some stage. The customer service is excellent, the watches are presented in beautifully crafted boxes and their 60:60 guarantee leaves you with complete peace of mind.”

“Having purchased a replacement strap for £85 (for my C9), that gave all indications that it was the correct fit, it seems that it was too narrow for the watch lugs. Therefore excessive strain was put on the pin springs, causing them to bow, and detach from the watch thereby allowing it to fall from my wrist on two occasions. I caught it once, and it fell to carpet on the second occasion - very lucky. The watch had been purchased, after much deliberation, as a 50th Birthday present from my wife and so it's very precious to me. Whilst I love the watch I am now too scared to wear it for fear of losing it permanently, or damaging it due to it falling to the floor - so I do not wear it. I had considered buying a Chris Ward Dive Watch in addition to the C9 - but as a result of this experience I will now look elsewhere. Incidentally, the once pristine, and expensive presentation box, was returned to me like it had been kicked around the office. I wanted to support a UK watch manufacturer, but I cannot recommend.”

“As a watchcollector since 1998 I have been through most of the Swiss brands in all price range. Lately I have felt there's a big gap between price tag and what I felt it was worth to spend, then I discovered Christopher Ward ! And what a surprise ! Finally I find a brand with a quality to price ratio that was stunning . I am that kinda person who use loupe to inspect finish and from my point of view it's absolutely superb on any watch I have received and together with a top service I quickly ordered some more. This is my favorite brand at the moment with a business philosophy I really appreciate as a customer !”

“Always a polite prompt service but, on placing my order I asked for the bracelet to be adjusted to 20 cm. When the confirmation of the order came through it stated 22cm, I rung your customer service pointing out my request for 20cm and was told it would be passed on, it still arrived at 22m!!! It is loose now when I'm warm so in the winter it will be very loose and I will not be able to make use of the expanding clasp.”

“After discovering Chris Ward watches, I spent some time reading reviews about said watches on various online forums and watch experts' fedbacks. I was pleased with experts' and customers' reviews and feedback and most importantly the ethos and commitment of CW appealed to me. I have bought two watches- limited addition C60 Trident Day Date COSC for myself and also a similar model in quartz C60 Trident 300 as a gift. Both models look well made showcasing great design and high quality. Owing a Swiss Made certified Chris Ward watch has somemwhat put me off buying Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean as apart from the name I honestly see no difference neither in quality nor in design. I have also had a great experience with customer service from CW as the watch I originally wanted was not available at that point and the customer servicey offered me analternative solution honoring me the special offer for a non-sale watch. I am very satisfied and have been wearing CW watch since it arrived in May 'neglecting' my other brand watches.”

“Purchased a watch for my brothers 40th birthday last year after a recommendation. So impressed with the quality and value I decided I'd treat myself for my wedding. Went for a C65 Trident Vintage Edition. Website was very easy to use and my watch was despatched that day. Received it the next day and was extremely happy with it. Only problem is I'd like to buy another now!”

“Great to be able to support a classic new British brand that is seeking to make waves in the world of horology. Fantastic service when I ordered two watches for my son and my son-in-law. It's not often a father gets to unload a daughter and a son in the space of a few weeks. Well worth it just to acquire these beautiful timepieces, delivered in good time and presented as I had hoped.
