My sad assessment is that this company was founded by dabblers who aren’t interested in building a franchise. They have shown me they don’t care much about their customers and take little pride in their endeavours. The Trident C60 GMT watch didn’t work right out of the box. Could not set the date nor the GMT hand. Where was the QC? Why ship a faulty watch across the ocean to irritate a first time buyer? Customer Service said they’d arrange for pick up from UPS. They didn’t! I shipped it back myself. They tested it and acknowledged it was faulty. I asked for a swap with a non-GMT version, getting a refund for the difference. Nope. They said I’d get a full refund but I would have to go back to their website to order it myself. You’d think to keep a customer they’d do a little work here rather than sending me back to square one, where I already have my doubts. I said OK, I’d order the non-GMT version if they expedited it priority the next day. They wrote back about my refund and ignored my ask. (I did get refunded for the watch and reimbursed for my shipping cost.) Faulty product coupled with indifferent service. Can’t get much lower than that. Customers are not a priority. No service ethic or pride in excellence from what I experienced. Serves me right for ordering on-line. As my friend said, “there’s a reason we love our Rolex, Omega, Patek etc.!”

Christopher Ward = Waste of money. I received the waste and it was heavy and very uncomfortable to wear.

If you're considering buying from Christopher Ward, please first consider how they've treated a loyal customer. One of my four(!) CW watches developed a fault. I assumed their much vaunted 60/60 returns process would be a well-oiled machine. In reality, it has exposed me to the most inept customer service I've ever encountered. Issue 1: They sent me a returns envelope with an invalid postage label. This caused embarrassment at the post office when they (not unreasonably) suspected I was attempting to re-use a previous label (it was dated from 2013). Issue 2: On being told of this issue, CW sent another envelope with the assurance that the issue wouldn't be repeated. Exactly the same thing happened; the label was not recognised by the post office. Issue 3: I mailed CW to inform them they had repeated the error, and explained that I'd covered the cost of the shipping this time (I included an image of the receipt). The eventual response (after chasing) acknowledged the issue, but suggested that I pay for the postage (demonstrating they had read one sentence of my email, and ignored the very next sentence). Issue 4: After much further chasing, I was called by a customer services agent who said they'd process a payment to my credit card for the postage, and that it would be with me in 3-5 working days. 13 working days later, no payment had been made. Issue 5: More chasing later, another call gave an internally inconsistent reason for the failure of the payment. I will stop short of accusing them of dishonesty, but the explanation bordered on the ludicrous. Issue 6: I gave my bank account details, and was promised the payment would be made the same day, as an immediate transfer, and that I would receive an email confirmation. Neither was true. Issue 7: Several days later, I still don't have the refund, and there's been no explanation as to why. So if you want to buy from Christopher Ward, do so in the hope that your watch never develops a fault. If it does, be prepared to endure quite staggering levels of ineptitude. Several CW staff members have been involved. This is not the failure of one individual; it's systemic incompetence.

Sent off my watch for a service. It has taken three months and I still do not have t back. I was not informed how long it would take. I would not have sent it otherwise. Too long. Customer service is not what I would call customer service no apology, always on the defensive, they are right I am wrong even though I am a customer. There is NO customer service at Christopher Ward.

I bought the limited edition titanium version of the C60 Pro and I have to say that I am disappointed with the quality. The watch constantly loses time, even though I am wearing the automatic watch each day, and the ceramic bezel was so delicate and prone to scratching. Obviously you get what you pay for, and I wasn't expecting a watch at the same level as my U-Boat for example, but I have watches at half the price that have never missed a second, let alone dropping minutes...

Poor customer service

Due to being misled and having a very poor experience on your website (over an hour trying to purchase, gave up and returned the next day) and a very poor experience with your customer services when I raised my issue (presenting you with email proof of your mis-selling) I cancelled the order. No one seemed to care. Please let me know how you will address your selling tactics, otherwise I think Trading Standards should be made aware. All companies suffer glitches but if you send me an offer for a lower price and I use this but unwittingly pay a higher price, you should do the honourable thing. This was to be my fifth watch from you, alas, I feel inclined to cease being a brand advocate.

I have ordered from CW many times, and they have got the orders wrong most of the times. the company is not used to multiple orders. they have either canceled more order or did not send it with out any communications. this very poor for a company, specially a micro brand that is trying to expand. the customer service is very poor and they are not very helpful at all.

Let's be clear. The products are great. I purchased the COSC C60 Trident Day Date. The watch is a thing of beauty and feels great on the wrist. However - despite fully winding the watch twice in the first month I noticed it was losing more time than I expected. Having worn the watch every day I wasn't happy with the amount of time it seemed to be losing. Some days it was as much as 7 seconds - way outside what I expected. I contacted Christopher Ward and after several email exchanges I was sent a 'prepaid' returns envelope. Trouble is this wasn't prepaid. £12 later I had sent the watch back. I got no email from Customer Services telling me the watch had arrived until I chased them. Then they informed me that according to their tests the watch was fine and they suggested it had not been fully wound - that is nonsense. There test showed the watch was losing only 1 second. They advised they might be able to make some improvements for £30. Now if it was only losing a second I would be very happy and I don't see how they would be able to much improve on that !. I told them to send the watch back as they said I could not return it as it was not 'pristine'. I've had the watch back 10 or so days. I set the watch on Monday 7th August at 14:00 now 76 hours later the watch has lost 14 seconds. OK that may just be on or over the 4 seconds they can claim for this COSC certified watch but it is nowhere near the -1 second a day they tested at. Really unhappy about the level of customer service as this was the reason I went for this watch over other brands. I was tempted to go for the Tudor Black Bay but thought I would given CW a go. Lesson Learned. Watch is great looking - but time keeping not within my expectations. Customer Service is shocking. Paul

Update: I ordered 2 straps on the 4th of July in the sale period. I bought 2 watches from Christopher Ward before and the quality and service was pretty good, only the time to dispatch could take long. However, now I do need to share a pretty bad experience with the order of two straps. When I recieved the dispatch notification, I noticed there was a different address on it than the right one i gave with the order (the right address was actually in the order confirmation, the default shipping address in my account and the one i gave with the order). When I noted Christopher Ward of this problem, I was told that the package would be sent back to Christopher Ward and then again to the right address with express mail. All good. However, two days later and I noticed that didn't happen. I contacted Christopher Ward two times, and only after I saw the package was delivered at the wrong address. I was contacted again. Then I was told there was going to be a new package send to me with express mail. Well now I got a mail it has been send, and its been sent to the same wrong address again. I explained to the customer service what the right address and the problem was about 5 times, and in the end it still wasn't right. By quickly replying to the dispatch mail Christopher Ward was still be able to send it to the right address. When I finally got the straps, I notices one of them was the wrong size. So I contacted CW again, and the strap was sent again. Finally the right strap came, although the straight/curved spring bars were mixed up. In the end I got my straps (about a month later), but it seems like there is seriously something wrong with processing orders.

Terrible terrible, almost non-existent customer service. I sent my watch in for repair, the works took months and the broken strap was not replaced as requested. Also the immaculate original box was badly damaged by them. Now they wont even respond to my emails. Avoid like the plague, they dont care for customers and decent watches need ongoing support from the manufacturer.

Muddled logo, naff front, amazing quality Fantastic quality, as good as my Omega/Certina/Alpina etc... Fast service. Interest free credit great. But still let down by the poor logo...now it's at 9pm and in a naff-looking font...why oh why oh why can't you get this right Christopher Ward !?!?!?!?

My wife purchased the Trident C60 Day Date for my 50th. Arrived late and had additional delays. Lovely looking watch, well weighted and the day date complications are wonderful. However despite its COSC rating this watch loses over 4 seconds a day. When I returned it CW claimed it tested at only losing 1 second a day. Not sure how they tested this but it' not by wearing it that's for sure. For someone who is obsessive about time keeping and hates to be late for anything - having a watch that loses time is much harder to deal with than one that gains. CW wouldn't refund as they say it wasn't in original condition and by that they mean I' had the nerve to wear it. Save your money - look for a pre-owned prestige brand and give these pretenders a wide berth.

Stop changing the logo every 6 months please, it just puts your watches in the 'fashion' category..

I love CW products, I bought 2 watches and 2 leather straps already. CW give me a beautiful, unique, valuable watch. Unfortunately, your customer service make me feel disappointed!
