I bought a Christopher Ward watch for my husband’s birthday end of December 2021. This is the second Christopher Ward watch that I am buying him and both times I had a difficult time with customs in the US. I was also not aware that I had to pay an extra $200 to release the watch from US customs for them to deliver it to me. And, I had to provide the watch specs to them, which the company did provide to me once I emailed and spoke to customer service. I would not want to go through this trouble again to buy a watch for my husband and no longer will be buying watches from Christopher Ward, even though my husband loves this watch company. If customers in the US are buying these watches, I think it would be nice to know that an extra charge of $100-$200 will be added once it reaches customs in this country.

I have recently bought a cw with an orange face and i have got to say its not bad. The second hand moves in time with the second so its all good quality.

Muddled logo, naff front, amazing quality Fantastic quality, as good as my Omega/Certina/Alpina etc... Fast service. Interest free credit great. But still let down by the poor logo...now it's at 9pm and in a naff-looking font...why oh why oh why can't you get this right Christopher Ward !?!?!?!?

I turned 50 this year, and my family wanted to buy me a keep sake. i have allways wanted a quality dress watch.I spent 3months looking and trying watches on the budget was around £500 for that sort of money i was looking at a quartz movement until i discovered Christopher ward.I love the realistic pricing policy. so i booked an appointment to visit the showroom with my wife, to try the c5 Malvern mk111 in black. we had an appointment book on their live diary (great idea no standing around waiting) Declan greeted us and made us a coffee which after a two hour drive, was greatfully recieved. if i am honest the watch sold its self, and with the 15% of i was able to upgrade the strap and clasp another feature i had not seen on any mens watch and it still came under my budget. i have worn it to a wedding and a christmas work meal people commented on my watch including people that have spent far more for a lot less watch. i would recommend before spending alot of money on a time piece visit christopher Ward. Gave only 4 stars as I requested an extra small vintage black strap to replace the regular vintage black strap but no response from your customer service that it was done. All I received was that the package was despatched.

The service I received in ordering my new strap was excellent. Online order process straightforward and quick and it arrived in a couple of days suitably packed. However, I remain unhappy that I needed to replace the trap so quickly, especially as it ha torn at the quick-release lever which seems to me a design flaw. I do not accept Christopher Ward's assertion that a watch strap is 'a perishable item'.

Obviously the recent cyber attack experienced by CW was frustrating to many customers. It was especially so to me since I had selected a watch and strap to purchase only to find that the payment process would not work on the website. However, I would like to commend Jennifer Herron for her responsiveness and overall customer service focus. She had been most helpful on an earlier purchase, and was sympathetic to my concerns during the recent denial of service attack. I'm hoping to do business with CW again in the future; products are first rate on many levels. Thanks for the opportunity to offer feedback.

My online order for a C8 Flyer Power Reserve was placed on the 5th, dispatched on the 10th and received here on the 11th October. The online ordering process was clear and went smoothly although I did have to make a 'phone call querying the strap as the website listed two, apparently identical, options with different part numbers for the standard sized item (okay for a 7" wrist, btw). I was able to apply a discount code so this was an added bonus (current offer runs up until the end of October so check their website for details of this). The watch itself is beautiful and a credit to the designers at Christopher Ward. Fantastic attention to detail and exceptional craftsmanship make this model a pleasure to wear. Very good value too when you consider the COSC certified, 'in house' SH21 movement. My only minor criticism is regarding the packaging of this item. Upon receipt, I noticed that the outer box had some impact damage to one corner. Unfortunately this had transferred to the inner presentation box and as I had originally intended to give this watch as a gift, was not really acceptable. To give them credit, where it's due, this was rectified within a week as Kyran sent a replacement that was much better protected from the rigours of delivery by a courier. A fantastic watch, a great experience and good support from their customer service department. Keep up the good work, Christopher Ward and the team!

Ordered the C7 rapide mk2 v390 and the C7 rapide chrono-limited ed. at the same time. The ordering process is good though the site did have a hiccup for a moment. No harm done. Per the site, I was suppose to receive an email indicating that I would receive a tracking number once my order is despatch. That took several days. To their defense, the site did say that on busy times (fall sale this time around) it may take several days before that happens. A follow up email to the company yielded a despatch notification to me the following day. I received my orders 14 days from date of order thereafter (standard mail to US). The mail packaging is fair. The bubble wrap around the box packaging was thin, though, thus resulting in the Watch boxes (the black cardstock box) to get dented on its corners. No worries unless you like everything perfect. The v390 came with an unmarked leather box while the limited ed. came with a labeled hardwood box. Inside is the watch manual and a Black labeled velvety, slightly bigger than a face towel size cloth for laying down and presentation of the watch. The limited also came with the COSC certification. Both watches (just the watch) looks fabulous. The straps, however, is jusy ok. Both watches came with leather bands. The v390 with a textured black leather with black stitching while the limited ed is black leather accented with pin-holed sized indentures and red-lined sides and red backs. (Google the watch and you see what I’m talking about). The v390 has a butterfly clasp buckle while the limited came with a bader deployment. The straps are Italian leather (says so on the site) and are soft and thin. Thin enough that it has a lot of give (stretch) when your putting the watch on. Also need to double check securing the bader clasp as it always releases (maybe just the strap I got). It would be nicer if the leather bands are thicker as these bands feels cheap. Then again everyone has their preference. Watch weight is lighter than expected, but not a bother. A thicker strap will certainly add heft to the watch. As I mentioned previously, the watch appearance is beautiful. The size (43mm) is perfect. There are more than enough chromes in the face to impress and take notice. The date window, however, is really small and hard to see. I need a reading glass to see and it. The placement on the face is more a preference, however, it does not bother me. Company’s service is good. I have not called them directly since it will be a long distance call. It would be nice to have a direct line to their US branch (area code + the 7 digit number) to be able to talk to someone personally. All in all a good experience and the watch price is more than satisfactory. My sincere thanks to all staff of Christopher Ward. I look forward to doing more business in the future!

I bought the chromometer watch C9 5 day chronometer 40 mm at half the price on a sale. It seems to be a solid watch with a very nice movement. I thought hovever, that it would come with a deployment clasp, and that made me a bit disappointed...

They design and commission an attractive portfolio of Swiss made watches which represent good value for money, This year Motor Sport and Aviation watches will be on my list of to haves. However I have to say I do not like to new logo, and I personally take the view that it is used to boldly. The new logo would be more acceptable if it were more discreetly used. The 5 Chris Ward watches I own all have the 2nd epoch branding which I like.

They sent my new watch in record time. It looks good and it doesn't beep or make any noise. It tells time! The band is rather thick.

delighted with the first purchase too good for work thought I would get another for that purpose was somewhat disappointed when that arrived would have been better and cheaper had I gone to H SAMUEL.S decided not to send it back hopefully the rubber strap will improve things I hope you don't have anymore of those watches as it certainly cheapens a rather excellent company THANKS R M Henderson is

Customer service is hit-or-miss. Sometimes excellent, sometimes non-existent (no reply). Probably a staffing problem. My watch: An excellent value. The watch itself was a bit... well, grimy at unboxing. It looked as if it had been worn for a month, then returned and reboxed with no cleaning. Hmmm... maybe it was. The case, moreover, was scratched. And the bracelet was definitely NOT NEW. Probably a return. This was disappointing, to say the least, and spoiled the experience somewhat.

Good experience so far. The watch I purchased is beautiful and is very well designed, shipping was prompt and communication was great. However, the website purchasing experience could be better by providing the control to customer on colour of the strap, and also to apply promo codes across all currencies. There is no way to add or select colour of the additional strap purchases. Regardless, i am happy and already purchased my second one :-)
