I had a really poor experience with withdrawals. The wire transfers rarely work, and money keeps getting returned to my account. Citi bank is the most disgusting bank I have used for the last 10 years in US. It is so hard to close a CD or transfer money out of a saving's account. They try to frustrate you in every way. Do not use citi bank for anything ever.

This company is about to face bankruptcy and legal action for engaging in an outright illegal operation. They frequently alter their withdrawal guidelines over night without giving their clients any notice. Since they are effectively spitting in their users' faces, this shows a total and total disdain for them. Furthermore, they have no customer service at all—instead of helping their clients, they just give them the runaround. Remarkably, they even forbid clients from taking their own money out. I lost all my funds to some scam investment website and needed to hire a hacker to help recover my funds . My two Citi credit cards were closed because the payment returned and lale payment for the 1st time after 20 year as a member of Citi Bank. I set online auto payment, I expected my payment always on time for periol years. For some how that unfortunately day, my Citi checking account was frozen ( on my bank monthly statement report) , all my payments could not go through, all of them were returned. I called 6 times and went to local Citi Bank branch, off course my payment finally go through after 3 times returning. However, I requested an explain, Instead send me a letter tell me that was technical issue as they did in the past, I did not receive any explaining . I have been using some others credit cards from different companies, and never plan to open another Citi credit cards, get away from headaches, frustration and upset.

I had a Citi Credit Card for 10 years and never received any rewards points, while my wife's card (Chase Unlimited) was accruing rewards points that she would redeem for gift cards every couple of months. Meanwhile, I was earning ZERO points. I finally called about it, and the Citi representative informed me that my card did not offer any rewards points, but he switched me to one that does. I questioned, "Why would you give me a credit card that does not have rewards points when you have another card that does provide reward points?" I was never offered any, as if they didn't want you to know about it. For 10 years I used this card monthly and received nothing in return. Now they say I can switch to a card that does! Why didn't they offer this card to begin with? And they refused to credit me any past points for the 10 years I used the card. So, I cancelled and signed on with Chase Unlimited, who offered me a card with reward points from day one. Unlike Citi, who benefited from my usage for 10 years and rewarded me with nothing, when I inquired, they were indifferent. Goodbye, Citi. You took my money from every purchase for 10 years and rewarded me with nothing. I urge everyone to stay away from this bank. The customer service is terrible, and they will take all the money they make from you and reward you with nothing if possible.

This bank is trash! I was told that I had to wait 2 days until my mobile check was available to me but it wasnt. Then I was told two weeks. I have called and spoke to numerous people and all they do is not help you and hang up in your face. Please save yourself the hassle and bank anywhere else. The best I would say is Arrowhead. They can assist you with any concern you have IMMEDIATELY!!! Even Chase is a good bank to, but banking with citibank is a waste of your time.

I got fraudulently charged using a Citi credit card and after 3 years of filing complaints, I finally got a hold of someone who could do something about it and they said they couldn't because it was out of their 3 year scope. Yet I filed reviews during all of those years. An absolute joke. Money hungry, dirty, shady company. Do not do business through them.

Worst phone system out there. Try to call to actually talk to someone. Good luck with that. I do not want to talk to a computer. Just because you refuse to pay your people. Always a a frustrating experience. Citibank use to be my favorite. They are now as bad and worse that the other banks. Citi Bank needs

Prior to receiving the following notice regarding the delay in the availability of my funds from a check that I deposited through the mobile app, I learned that the check CLEARED. Mind you, the payor of this check was a federal govt office. “The following longer delays will apply (because these deposits may be returned for the reasons indicated): Amount Being Delayed: $1,069.88 Date Available: November 11, 2022 Reason for Delay. We have confidential information indicating the check may not be paid.” If I could give “0” stars, I would.

Four years running now Citibank has allow a fraudulent company to bill a $300 bogus annual subscription to my account. All four years I was required to jump through all kinds of hoops to fix it. Even changed my account number 4 times. They actually gave the fraudsters my new account number and home address. Had to hire an attorney to send a Cease and Desist to their CEO. Even closing my account didn't stop the madness. Citibank just accept the fraud charge anyway and then tried to bill me again anyway even after I have a letter from them confirming its fraud. WHAT?!? Clearly just another greedy bank who doesn't care about their clients at all.

Citibank closed two of my credit card accounts, for lack of use. I felt like they could have at least given me a heads up, and I would have utilized the cards, in order to keep the accounts open. It is said, that credit card companies closing accounts, can have a negative impact on one's credit score.
