“I recently ordered 2 items. A sterling silver celtic cross (love it!) and a ring. Unfortunately, I found the ring was not true to size..I am a size 7.5 US and sadly the ring is too small! I have bought other jewelry from Ireland before (not this company) and the rings were always true to size...”

Hi there, Thank you for your feedback. So I checked your order and I see that it was a Celtic Warrior wide band ring you purchased. Our ring sizes are standard US size and are always double checked before leaving. The issue is with the wide band on rings. A standard band and a wide band are different and often if you are a size 7.5 in a standard size band then you would need an 8 and sometimes even an 8.5 (depending on its width) for a wider band. That is why when you are measured at a Jewellers they will ask to see the ring you want to purchase before taking you measurements as they are aware that a wider band would need to be measured differently. “The ring was a present and it is really loved by the recipient! Emails kept me informed from the first enquiry to receipt and it was posted and received efficiently. On the information possibly the weight of the item or some other measure to illustrate how much silver is used would have been useful as it was lighter, in weight, than I had anticipated from the photos. Thank you”

“I have ordered twice from Claddagh Jewelers and have been satisfied with their service and products. I would have given a five but one of the necklace chains that I ordered for my wife for Christmas broke in two places while it was in a jewelry case and hadn't been worn yet. I didn't get back to Claddagh on that.”

“My wife and I purchased matching Claddagh rings in 14k rose gold to celebrate the renewal of our wedding vows on our 25th anniversary. We have 18k heavy yellow gold rings we had purchased from Follers in Galway years ago and are trending toward rose gold in most of our jewelry. These new rings are beautiful and of high quality, but are a little thin from what we are accustomed. I wish they were available in 14k heavy rose gold which I would gladly paid extra for the extra weight.”

Hi Lawrence, Thank you for your honest review. The 14kt gold can only be made up in the normal weight at the moment. It is possible that switching from the heavy weight to a lower weight would have taking getting used to as the ring is not thin in general but thinner than what you are used to. At the moment, we can not offer the rose gold in a heavier weight but we will certainly take it on board. Kindest Regards, Hannah.

“First of all: I like the locket very much. But there is one thing that you could not see on the picture on the Claddagh Jewellers Page when I ordered the locket: The locket and the Claddagh-Symbol are not in "one piece", but the symbol is somehow attached to the surface. And there are gaps between both parts. So I wonder if it might break one day if I'm not careful enough. After all, the locket might get stuck on a pullover with the edges of the symbol. I've attached some pictures to show what I mean. I've stuck a small piece of paper in the gap to show that I'm right. But as I said: So far I'm quite happy with the locket. Thank you very much.”

Hi there, Thank you for your review. The silver would be soldered on so it wont be an issue that it will break. It is done this way to make sure that the Claddagh emblem stands out. “Really quick delivery and a beautiful ring. The only downside is that the rose gold part on the ring I ordered came off within a month, leaving it silver. The ring is still lovely either way I would have just expected it to last longer for the price.”

“The ring was bought for my partner as a promise ring. When it arrived in Australia, the stone was loose, and so we had to take it to a jeweller to be secured. Otherwise an absolutely beautiful ring that symbolises our promise to each other! We love it”

“Claddagh Jewellers presented well a fine collection of silver earrings, the category of my interest. In fact the Children of Lir collection was quite unique amongst the possible jewelers in Dingle, Killarney, Kenmare which I searched. I ordered the Swans, and have since had them set with a diamond solitaire in each Swan's wings. They will be a gift just before Easter. I would suggest that your website note that you will not do business with Visa or MasterCard Gift (debit) cards. As most web providers accept such protected cards, it took multiple exchanges before I could get my order moving. It arrived promptly as promised, and was well delivered as well.”

“The wedding bands I ordered are beautiful. The only negative comment I have, is that if the company would allow PayPal as a form of payment, it would be extremely helpful for those purchasing from overseas whose bank may make such a purchase difficult. Otherwise, I am completely happy!”
