Dreadful customer service. Subscribed at the start of May and took payments for my June and July boxes, yet despite numerous emails and a customer service centre that never answers their phone have not yet received anything. They've essentially stolen £70 of my money..... not impressed!

Customer service is non existent. I liked the beauty box itself mostly but some of its pretty old stock from years back and could include another item, plus I don't have faith in them as a company to improve or care about what they put out so I'm unsubscribing. Beware if you ever order anything from their site or need to sort out a problem as you can email a hundred times and never get a reply, although they are quick to take your money. Go elsewhere and use paypal so you can cancel any direct debits from leaving your account yourself as I wouldn't rely on Cohorted.

already wrote a review rated 1* about over charging me, they eventually refunded £35 and cancelled my account and still had taken one lot of £35 which seemed weird to me when my account was cancelled and i asked for a full refund. so when i asked if i would still be getting the June box even thought my account is cancelled they said yes. 20th of June today and still no box!! i had to message them 3 times to get them to confirm they had even sent me a box. the first two times i asked them they said they had 100% sent me a box then the third time i asked they said they had no recall of me purchasing a box never mind one being sent out?? DO NOT SIGN UP TO COHORTED! i'm a makeup lover myself and thought this would be a good way to try out new things but overall they do take a payment when you sign up then a payment at the beginning of the following month too. do not recommend at all.

Just received my first box, was a little misunderstanding but thanks to the fantastic customer service it was dealt with quickly. I don't know what all the fuss is about with the June box all products are amazing and well worth the money paid. Thanks again cohorted.

Firstly, I have got to say the customer service is fantastic in my experience. I would advise emailing the customer service through the email link rather than through the website 'Contact' page. Within a few hours I had a friendly reply that put my concerns to rest. The lady who I was talking to asked if it would be better to talk about my needs through a phone call and she was very patient and understanding. My email was actually to do with an overdue payment- I was expecting Cohorted to fine me or charge me extra but they didn't charge me anything which I thought was very considerate. As a student I was relieved that they weren't going to charge me extra (although they could have considering the circumstances)... Also I would advise people to start reading the Terms and Conditions that are stated on the actual website. I was initially confused about being charged on the 1st of the month but it says clearly on the T&C that Cohorted will reschedule payments to the 1st even when you have ordered your first box at the end of the month. A lot of stuff like that is actually cleared up on the website, and there is an FAQ on there too. Overall, a great company!!

As a profile was not completed, I was sent a self tanning product which is useless for my skin tone. Brands were poor and not high quality as well as colours for each product. Considering to unsubscribe!

They over charge!!! They claim your subscription is one month in advance..... And at point of signing up they give you a date of when your payments are coming out and whe you will recieve your first box! You do get your first box when stated, however you pay the first payment as advised, BUT they take another payment in the same month all before you have even recieved a box!!!!! They don't tell you that on signed up, they state you pay the month you sign up and the. You won't get your be until next month as you pay in advance!!! That is true, BUT they do not state at any point they will bill you twice before you recieve a box!!! Next problem I have is I received my box.... But was so disappointed that (body shop) products was inside!!! High tend???!! The box was a joke for the money!! I then cancelled my subscription, and thankfully received an email to confirm this had been auctioned and they had refunded my second payment of £35! I was pleased they had responded and given my money back! I logged in to my account and cancelled my subscription! problem ALERT!! The following month they debuted my card with a further £35!!!! After my account was cancelled and without my permission!!!! I made x2 payments in April and cancelled and received a refund for the second payment as I had recieved X11 box.... But they then took a payment on 14th April!!!! It's a joke, and I have not had a box!!!! This is an absolute rip off, DO NOT USE!!!

They have over charged me, they have taken £70 not £35. i subscribed for my first box on the 27th on may they took £35 which is fine. then on the 1st of June they took another £35 and they're not supposed to until the 1st of July now i have no response from anyone!!! Its not like its only £5 and when I'm only 18 on a low pay job with a car and everything to run i really cannot afford this.

I originally ordered using a groupon voucher which cohorted overcharged me for. After resolving my first issue they tell me my first box will be the May box. I really liked the look of the February box so I ordered that as well. The person I spoke to said it would be despatched asap, I still haven't received that so I've asked for a refund as I'm fed up. I received the May box on Monday, it is the worst perfume I have ever smelt, you can get it for under£25. Not impressed with is so called high end fragrance box! Will never be ordering again !!

The fragrance white box was black? Dispatch was late and when they did finally despatch it something went wrong and it was even later. To top it off the big Purfume in the box is called First and retails at £62. Really? googled the perfume and most websites including all beauty.com sell it for £24.95 or less!!! This was my first box and my last ever. The perfume is horrible. I will use it for bathroom spray. It's stinks my husband hates it.

Sleek and stylish beauty box each month with a few high end items as well as new brands. Whether you're just a basic make up user or looking to build up your make up set, it's good quality and a really great way to test out new products you wouldn't normally think to use. It's always so exciting - like an early Christmas present :) I had a question for customer service (updating postal address) so I emailed them and got a reply the next day saying its all done. Great customer service! Nice and easy process :)

Got sent an email saying my box was being dispatched on Monday (white box) by Royal Mail 48hour service.....well it's now Saturday and I still have no box! On the website it claims white boxes are sent out on the 1st of the month!

Disappointed. There was no 'hand tied ribbon' on my package. I was informed my box would arrive between the 5th-10th of the month yet I received my 2 days late. Sent an email to customer services asking for some answer regarding the beauty box, it's now 2 days later and I still haven't had a reply. Disgusting service. Will not be advising others to join

I have not had my first ever box yet (white box) but when I contacted customer services for advice on whether my box has been dispatched yet, they were very quick and informative and I am very pleased with how they responded. I will review again when I receive my box. (Please let it be Chanel ????)

Have been over charged. Emailed four times and called and left a voicemail as you can't ever seem to get through to an actual person and still no reply

Firstly, I want to say how excited I was at the thought of receiving high end products. My first box was truly fantastic. Sadly however their consistency is poor and it's difficult to work out what age range they're aiming at. The quality went successively down hill to the point where we were receiving body shop products. Several boxes were missing either an item or booklet, one was damaged so much it was unusable. The worst part was just how bad their customer services are. They have a blazé attitude and a slow, reluctant response to anything you send them. Very poor service for one of the most expensive monthly boxes available.

Great concept, nice brands. For me due to my colouring olive it's a bit hit and miss. Unlike other beauty boxes it is not colour matched to a beauty profile. Whilst it's great to have a high end brand it not great to have it in a colour you can't wear. You end up giving it away which kind of defeats the monthly subscription.

I am not really THAT into make up at all. I'm more of a skin/beauty products person. And we're talking Aladdin's Cave stuff here! But I have tried (and am still trying only on occasion now) every other beauty box around and truly Cohorted is the bee's knees. It is a lot more expensive than other boxes and I really don't need it, never mind the fact that I can hardly afford it, but every month as I consider cancelling my subscription (which is handy, as there's always an opt out if you so choose), I am so tempted by ONE of the sneak peeks that I just have to have it. And even though some of the products are things I will rarely use, the selection is so quirky and some of the products are so amazing that I find myself continuing on with my guilty pleasure! I have to stop myself subscribing to the perfume/fragrance box as well, but maybe one of these days...
