“Cohorted started off as a great beauty box and then they put up the price with the contents not matching up to the hype every month. Some months the boxes were great and some were such a disappointment which resulted in me cancelling the subscription.”

“Cohorted used to be such a nice box. But unfortunately it no longer is... Their customer service is worse than any other. They just don't care about their customers. Or about this company. Because when you care about something, you don't act like this. I never got one box, but the money were taken from my account. I tried to sort it out with them, but they just didn't give a s... about me. If you keep up either this crappy customer service and with this chappy boxes, no one will bother to buy them.”

“I have subscribed to both the beauty box and the fragrance box. I do believe both boxes are good value for money. The beauty box in particular offers products in each subscription that most people would like/use regularly from high end, well-known brands. The fragrance box is a quarterly subscription; each box contains one full sized product and 3-4mini perfume samples. Brands can vary dramatically from well-known or popular brands/fragrances, to less distinct brands which would normally be targeted at a more select audience. Unfortunately, I have had bother with the Cohorted customer service which I think is quite poor. I have had missing products (a NARS brush) from my beauty box and despite numerous emails to Cohorted customer services I did not receive any response at all. As such I was forced to cancel my beauty box subscription as missing products obviously considerable lower the value of the box! I have also noticed that the quality of the fragrance box varies dramatically each time; for example in this box instead of receiving 3 different mini perfume samples, i have received duplicates of the same, and all bottles are half empty..... In summary: I think the cohort boxes are a great idea and when all the products are supplied can be very good value for money. The fragrance box has been disappointing most months (as the fragrances supplied are not to my personal taste), and the quality of the miniature samples leaves a lot to be desired. The Cohorted customer service is the main reason why I personally wouldn't recommend this company to a friend.”

“My first Cohorted box has left me somewhat underwhelmed! I waited in anticipation for my beautifully wrapped box of high end products and what I found was just a bit an anti-climax! While the NARS palette was nice, the beautiful design was lost with the first swatch and its now just a blurry mix of colours which doesn't really last too well on the eye. The ovali brush was good. The Smith & Cult nail varnish is in lovely packaging but the colour was not great nor has it staying power. Now I am torn, do I cancel my subscription now or give Cohorted the benefit of the doubt and wait another month?”

“The Ovali brush was a great addition and really made the box alongside the Nars palette which is stunning. Having seen previous boxes that have had 5 high end make up products in, I was a little disappointed with the skin care samples and hair wipes, but that is just personal preference as these were always the things that I ended up not using from other subscriptions.”

“I'd love it a lot more if I received colours that suit me!! When signing up, we should select our skin tone so that we don't end up with dark hd brows and medium/dark bronzer when I'm blonde and pale. It always seems that I receive the worst of the colours listed in the booklet!”

“I usually love Cohorted and thought the June box was absolutely amazing. I like Cohorted because in the June box everything was full sized products. I also enjoy the fact that there is a beauty and a perfume box.”

“Cohorted was my first and for now, last beauty box. Receiving interesting cosmetics for the price of £35 does seem a deal. But 4 boxes in, I am noticing that even though the products are good quality, the color cosmetics are just not me. It sums up this way: I am not going to pay whatever discounted price to receive products that I would never buy in the first place because they simply don't suit me”

“I keep going because of the variety of stuff that it means I get to try out new stuff I wouldn't usually. The quality (and quantity!) varies. I've had at least two rubbish months where I was tempted to send the stuff back. However I've had many great months too. The customer service is terrible (take ages to reply to emails and no phone number)”
