I ordered a top the cost was 14.99 the top was made small did not fit I returned top using the return label they provided. I can't believe I only received 3.51 back. I will never order anything again from this company. Buyer beware when doing business with this company and make sure to read the fine print.

I just placed an order and when I looked on my credit card, I was charged a pre approval charge and one was the actual charge from Collections Etc. Never heard of such a thing nor has this happened before. So now my credit card balance is LESS TWICE the amount of what I ordered and charged on my card. POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE! I also was told that the pre approval charge should drop off in approximately 6 days. Unheard of. I will NEVER do business with this company again.

Tried to cancel order less than 12 grs after placing it. They now "process orders immediately so you can't cancel. F'n crooks. Run the other way.

They refuse to speL understandable English. You can only understand one in 5 words . Website is worthless You must order 3 mo ths in advance e. Orderon first of Dec you might get your order ne t december

MANY of their products are absolute garbage. Not worth a dollar. When you want to return it they want to charge you alot of money. I had an item for $19.99 and was not able to be put together. They wanted to charge me $12.99 to return it - I threw it away!! Garbage in the garbage. BE VERY LEARY IF ANY PRODUCT! Perhaps a book would be okay to buy. How they can legally be in business is beyond me.

Overpriced junk. My dad ordered me a dress. It was hideous and cheap. The shipping he paid was as much as the dress. Then they want another 12 dollars to send it back or exchange. I feel bad having to tell him about how bad the dress is. I don't want him ever ordering from this company again! Taking advantage of people!!

Ordered many items November 2022. Never received half of the items. Over 20 phone calls with a call center that is apparently is Asia or each representative I spoke to sounded Asian. Each time was promised they rest of the order was coming. Now June 2023 still nothing. I give up. Certainly will not refer anyone to this company. Very disappointing

I ordered more than $50 of merchandise online, and the catalog said "FREE shipping with orders over $50 !!! I paid PayPal for what I ordered plus the 6.75% tax in my state for out-of-state mail orders. Order went through, they sent the mdse. ( no request for more money before they sent it) A week later they informed me they were taking another $26 from PayPal for "shipping, handling, and taxes. " But none of this was legit. this company should be put out of business

I buy numerous items from Collections Etc. But I was so disappointed with my last purchase. It was a spring wreath. The flowers were so flattened. The wreath was falling apart. I had to add my own flowers. Never buying a wreath again from Collections Etc.

On February 8, 2023 I placed an order and at checkout agreed to pay the amount of my purchase. I paid via PayPal. The charge that appeared on my PayPal account was for $6.50 more than I agreed to for Handling & Carrier Surcharge, I think it is fraudulent to add charges AFTER the buyer agrees to pay the invoice with no notice until the buyer sees their PayPal account. I called to resolve the issue with Collections, etc. and the 1st agent I spoke with said the amount would be refunded when I received my items. When it was not I called to check on it. There were no notes about my previous conversation. I believe she told me that to get me off the phone. The other agent was very polite but resolute that no refund would be issued. If I were to return the items, they were still going to keep the $6.50 Handling & Carrier Surcharge. I know it is only $6.50 but how many times a day are they doing this?

I wrote a a detailed review separately from this comment. In a nutshell, this company has blocked more than $1,400 in my bank account for $350 purchase. Everyone who is having problems with this company should do as I have done and file a Complaint with the Illinois AG which form can be found and filled out online.

This company is a FRAUD. I purchased $354.09 in merchandise and they placed a hold for over $1,500 with my bank. This has overdrawn my account by over $600. I called Collections, Etc. and have been told by 3 different people that this is their pattern and practice. I was also told not to worry that the excess funds will be released in 6 days. WTF? My account is overdrawn by $600 leaving me without access to any funds for 6 days and they casually tell me not to worry? I guess I'll just go without food for the next 6 days. Needless to say, I canceled my order and am sitting waiting, hungry, for my money to be returned to me.

I placed an order for my sister's Christmas present on Dec 7 they charged such exorbitant amt of handling charge it doubled the items total price. Now on the 19th of Dec that they cannot have it here for Christmas. The package sat there in their warehouse for 4 days then sat in Illinois for another 5 days . Now it seems they think they can take as long as another for the customer to rec their purchased merchandise. On the prev order I was lied to ,they sent me an email to state package had been delivered when it had not been delivered. I did rec it the next day. Also they misrepresent that they have merchandise that they do not possess for sake on Facebook. They make excuses for that as well.

Purchased a couch cover that was damaged upon arrival. I called the company for a refund. 2.weeks later they sent another one to replace it. I contacted them again They said to mail it back which I did It took over 2 weeks for them to put the refund back in my bank account. Most companies will refund your money within 24 hrs. I will never purchase from this company again

tack on a $12.00 charge for each separate order?? got original email order confirmation..then another from paypal stating that a new amount was added..collections etc. is a scam company...complained to paypal but got nowhere! spreading the word around how lousy they are..i was a very good customer..but no more!

I tried to place an order on the website, but the sale prices were not transferring onto my shopping cart. I called customer service for assistance. The woman had a hard time creating the order (should have been my first clue,) but I got what I wanted at the correct price. A week later, my package arrived just as expected. The next day I got 2 more boxes. The person not only placed the order twice on her end but also put though the items in my cart. I just called to notify Collection Etc of their error and was informed that it was my "fault". Yes, James actually told me several times it was my "fault." He "informed" me that it would cost me 11.99 per package to return them. After arguing back and forth, I asked for a supervisor. I was put on hold for a few minutes and James came back on and told me I could only return 1 box for free because it was, yet again, my fault. After another long argument where I told James that I was going to dispute the charges with my credit card company, I finally got my return labels. Looking at other reviews, I can see the battle is not yet won. I will add more if the problem continues. It's a shame because the items I purchased were decent quality and I was happy with them but the customer service is seriously lacking. If I could give a no-star rating I would.

My shipping address is different from my billing address. After checkout, it used the same address. I called their call center and struggled though outsourced hell with 5 minute hold times happening multiple times. It was a real pain.

If I could give them NO STARS, I would. This has GOT to be the WORST company with which to do business. The worst. Their clothing is absolute garbage (skirts so thin they should be called flimsy lingerie, but try and return something and you'll meet with roadblock after roadblock. Couldn't print their return label that they give you on the website (something wrong on THEIR end of things), and then they tell you they'll ship you a label but it will cost you $12.00. Seriously? Or, you can make your own label but still pay big when they receive your merchandise. You better pay extra at the USPS to make sure they receive it and frankly, what I ordered wasn't worth paying more for insurance or whatever. Their customer service reps should be called DIS-SERVICE REPS. One I spoke with sounded so out of it I had to hang up and call back. The second one couldn't have cared less. This company is just abysmal, and I will never order from them again. Be forewarned. Seriously, a bad experience from start to finish.

I saw FREE SHIPPING-NO MINIMUM. I went through the whole process of ordering, side-stepping the JOIN OUR CLUB, WE WILL SAVE YOUR PAYMENT INFORMATION. I didn't join anything and purchased as a guest because I DID NOT WANT MY PAYMENT INFORMATION "SAVED." Of course, I had to provide my payment information in order to buy. I just didn't want it saved in their data bank. I got all the way to the end and was notified that I had to join their club in order to get the free shipping this time and then would automatically be charged $16.95 per month thereafter. I was livid and called to cancel my order and sent the charge to be disputed by my bank. I asked for an email stating that my order had been canceled and the rep mumbled something about, "They will know it has been canceled by your order number." I was so disgusted, I just hung up. And I looked at all the other "Review Websites" and they all give high ratings. What's up with that?
