“I booked a transfer to the airport with this company - copy and pasting in the addresses directly. Lot of hidden fees - but that was fine, I needed to ensure a bigger car for our transfer and it was easy to do this way. On receiving confirmation from them and my journey voucher - I noticed that the airport was incorrect. I immediately contacted the team at Transfers using their whatsapp service and notified them that they have the incorrect airport on the voucher. The first representative send me an overview of what I had booked and asked me to confirm this was correct - which I did. Then I was passed to someone to find out what the issue was. This person told me I booked the wrong location - I assured them I didn't. They said I couldn't prove it and they wouldn't be changing it. Even though there would be no difference in cost (I checked). They said I would not be able to go to my intended airport as the driver would only go to the location on the voucher. They said there was nothing they could do as I had made the error and it was my problem. They also told me to sort out an alternative option as I wasn't going to get anywhere there. Super unhelpful and told me I couldn't prove the error was on their end so they would not be helping me. I asked for it to be escalated further - to which they gave me an email address and told me it wouldn't make a difference. I emailed anyways and they gave me a site to log into to review my booking - low and behold - on doing so I had made the correct booking as I had stated and took screenshots of the error being on their end. No apology from the whatsapp customer rep. Was willing to leave me stranded with an infant and toddler, having taken my money - I think it was approx 125 euro.
I would never use this company again - pay the extra few euro to book direct!! Worst customer support and added unnecessary stress to the situation.”
