Terrible service. increased quoted fees (loading £15 to £40, delivery doubled +£294+vat) after purchase. lost V5 + keys. Staff mis-describe good vehicles to keep for 'mates' as "no keys" or not running when photos show otherwise. A risky minefield surviving on as a monopoly operator.

I was rearended by someone and their insurance company placed a bid with Copart to buy my salvaged vehicle. I wasn't buying anything from coparr. They sent me paperwork and then demanded that I mail my original title, signed over to them. They told me after they get my title. They would send a driver to get it and bring my check. I don't know how many people who have fallen for that but I wasn't signing over anything I own, without anything in return. Rep was a real nasty creep too. I would never buy anything from them. They buy totaled vehicles and resell them and most probably are not same to drive. That would explain the 200+ complaints filed against them through the BBB. As a matter of fact, my rep Max didnt seem to care when I mentioned contacting the BBB. I guess they are used to it by now. Stay away from them, they are very shady!

Copart is going to die soon because of its employees. They are so rude and lack customers service sense of empathy. I saw that my account has suspended view days after winning a lot and no communications was sent to me. I called the help desk and was being transferred from one dept to another. Finally I was able to reach a very saucy lady in account department who told me that my account was suspended because of charge-back. They have done this to my account before and I paid the charges with my card but this time no communication and no means of getting the charges paid as I cannot login into my account. The most annoying part was that this rude lady banged the phone on me even when I was taking it cool with her to know the reason and the right person to talk to, considering the pandemic and all sorts of things happening now across the nation. I can’t wait to have an auction site that can stand this overrated and careless company.

OMGGG COPART HAS GONE NEXT LEVEL GREEDY...TOO MUCH GREEDINESS WILL KILL YOUR COMPANY!!! Reported!! Premium numbers for calling, uneducated and rude staff who hang up after 50mins of average waiting times, just found that membership prices has increased by another £10 and that "memberships are renewed on calendar year basis" instead of normal (so I will have to pay for full year of membership although I am joining in JUNE) So you cannot currently see the vehicle due to covid and are bidding blindly on things where description is incorrect in most cases! not to mention the loading fee, online bidding fee, highways jacket fee, late fee, storage fee, and many other ripping-off fees all for the sake of a mangled car which I bought listed as "starts and drives" but when it was delivered IT DID NOT EVEN HAVE AN ENGINE!!!!!!!!!! COMPREHEND THIS!!!! and on top of that when I rang to complain the lady on the phone said "there is nothing she can do and I'll have to deal with it myself"...I am writing a letter to trading standards and Prime Minister and few other people to close down this company and make auctions highly regulated for customer safety...you should write the same letter.

These people should be in jail. Amazing that a public company like this is still listed. I purchased a "Run and Drive" vehicle from them and found dozens of hidden thing that would have caused a severe accident, likely killing people. They had tack welded (very poorly) a snapped tie rod end to make it look like the vehicle was operable. Also they had zip tied a broken major steering column support component and covered it back up. Long story short, don't learn the hard way like I did. Stay away 100%

As a former insider I saw, with my own eyes, how Copart bids up their auctioned vehicles. One employee watched the bidding to make sure it goes higher. Very dishonest company. Poor management. Poor work environment. Poor ethics. Racist and condescending.

NO WHERE on the app shows what fees they charge. You have to dig for that. SHADY. Found that out the hard way. Bought a car for 5600 and they charge me 20% “buyer fee” And some other unscrupulous charges. The other shady thing was I won the bid then got an email a few hours later saying “the seller would like to make you a counter offer”...WTF?! I won but you want to offer me to pay more?!?!?! I called today member services saying I want to cancel this and they told me to call the lot that I won the car from. She said best case they will relist it and charge me 10% of purchase. Eff y’all Im calling the damn attorney general.

The world needs to know , copart does not know the meaning of integrity, if you buy a car at copart assume the damage is serious, figure a new motor or transmission at the very least. I have notified the attorney generals office and the department of transportation, they will review but copart just lies so much. BUT TO PROTECT OTHERS FROM THIS COMPANY EVERYONE NEEDS TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE AND THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION. LETS GET THIS COMPANY SHUT DOWN !!!

The company is a fraud hiding behind T&C and treating members as if they have no rights. I won a bid on a vehicle described as run and drive with primary damage of minor scratches and dents. On collection after payment I discovered that the vehicle only drives on the first gear. I immediately notified the manager but he insisted I must accept the vehicle in the condition. I however refused to collect the vehicle and returned the documents and the key. Copart is yet to refund my payment after series of letters. I will follow up legally in order to get my refund

My Ford F150 was taken to this place in Anthony NM (El Paso) by my insurance company after a wreck. When i went to pick up my truck, my JL audio subwoofer box was missing. I asked the manager (J.G.), he basically told me to F myself and they weren't responsible after my insurance adjuster showed him the picture. This place has no customer service skills and No accountability. Now i need to file a claim again with my insurance company US&& for the stolen speaker box...If your insurance takes your vehicle there...BEWARE...

Thieves: Bid on and won a $17k Vehicle wire transfer wouldn't go thru so I drove the 125 miles to make payment in person and to see my prize. BUT NO they will no let you see the vehicle until you pay in full, and have a transport ready and waiting. Then and ONLY then can you view your Vehicle. Things were not going as it should, and I smelled something fishy so I declined the sale. Now they want $2,000. in fees or I get booted as a member. So go screw yourself CoFart.

I have purchased many vehicles from copart in my time as manager at a salvage yard. Copart does try to hide damage and deceive the buyer with the photos of the vehicles, for instance notice they take the picture from the passenger side, rarely showing the common wear area of the drivers seat. The photos are also shot in low resolution so flaws are nearly impossible to see. Always try to go view the vehicle in person if possible, things like underbody rust will not be noted by Copart. In addition, please note these facts about Copart: Estimated value is listed by seller and can be whatever the seller wants it to be. Copart’s vehicle delivery is not available to residential addresses. You will be charged a Gate fee even if vehicle never leaves their yard. If you place a preliminary bid and the current bid is below your max bid when the auction starts, Copart will raise the bid to your max automatically even if there are no more bids. This is a very shady operation that will try to rip you off any way they can. If possible use a reputable seller such as Manheim auctions instead,

My experience with Copart was extremely disappointing. It all started with a significant delay of over two weeks before the car was finally delivered. Additionally, despite assurances, a promised refund of $203.96 to my credit card for delivery expenses has yet to materialize, even after a week. What truly aggravated the situation was the undisclosed damages found during a mechanic's inspection. The car, which was listed to have only front-end damage in the auction, had significant undercarriage damage that was not mentioned in the listing. Subsequently, my account was suspended, locking me out. Fortunately, I had the foresight to download all documents and capture screenshots prior to this action, ensuring I have evidence to support my claims. I am seeking compensation for the undelivered promised fees and the misrepresentation of the vehicle in the auction. This experience has been a stark contrast to my previous positive encounters with Copart during two earlier purchases. My hope was for Copart to rectify the misrepresentation, honor commitments made, and address the unfair actions taken against me. It's disheartening to be treated this way despite my compliance with all terms and obligations. Currently, I find myself ignored by their staff, my funds withheld, and my account, which had been in good standing since 2018, restricted. Overall, this recent experience with Copart has been disappointing and I hope they take prompt action to resolve these issues.

The company sh*t on me so il do the same. I don’t even know where to begin, I have never worked at a worse place then Copart, the yard managers are great, where as the office managers are rude arrogant ex conficts, and Copart you can delete this as many times as you want il keep posting it, started a year and half ago, not knowing they can get rid of you with a click of a finger I wouldn’t be so bothered if I didn’t pull my weight but in my eyes I put my head down and did the work they asked and in my opinion to a great standard. You don’t get any appreciation for the amount of work you do, being run of your feet, stressed, working in winter conditions without being able to hide from the rain, cold, frost which is fair enough as it’s a job. But s bit of appreciation wouldn’t be to hard. You get accused for stealing when multiple people go in the cars. People in the yard are bullies. People’s cars get absolutely ragged with video evidence. Loaders fly past you with cars on folks with one certain person who will literally run you over and hurl abuse at you. The pay is alright for the amount of hours but not for the amount of pressure you get put under, stress the company scream to help mental health wellbeing without sorting the nasty people who work there. The yard is a huge hazard with holes size of a crater with loaders flying past you with heavy cars bouncing around not mentioning cars being stored in water that goes up to the doors, cars are washed with oil all over them with no drainage, the equipment they give you are either damaged or 10 years old. The toilets are actually vile with human feces smeared on the walls and floors. Might not be accurate now as there finally having a refurb. This Copart review is legit fired me with no notice for no reason after being there for nearly 2 years. STAY AWAY

PLEASE READ COPART YORK Worst place to work for on the planet. My partner has worked there for over a year. A year being harassed and perved by an older man, also almost got ran over by him and on both occasions reported to head office (multiple times reported about him being a pervert) and nothing was done by it. However staff get let go for the smallest things for example my partner got sacked for “feeling unhappy” which isn’t a sackable offence last time I checked. He was the hardest worker and he got let go without any warning. Cars are treated like sh** and kept in puddles with windows left down so they grow mould, people rag around the yard in cars and nothing gets done about it. This is the worst place to work for and it needs shutting down or new management to sort the place out. This post will probably get deleted by co-part but I will repost over and over again.

DO NOT WORK HERE!! they treat you like animals, no thank you for the hard work you put in!!! Conditions you work in will give you some sort of chronic illness, they don’t have any care in the world for you all they care is you get the set target done. Managers are not nice , They make you work like animals while they all sit and talk all day, They watch you all the time, On CCTV. There’s an old man who likes young men. And after he got reported apparently nothing happened they wouldn’t take it any further even though he’s done it to so many young staff. You nearly get ran over by the forklifts. You’re not allowed to talk. Brake times are so tight on certain people and for others “ye take as long”. So dusty like being in a desert. No proper PEE. One of the wagon drivers lost their finger. People red line “people’s” car, The cars are kept in rows where water is up to the door, People steal stuff out of owners cars, loaders damage the cars, managers are all ex convicts, office is gross. Do not buy or sell any cars to this company. They rip you off. Don’t have any considerate all the cars that come in get ragged and put through there lengths. They’re stored on boy proper ground.

Do not buy a membership in this company, you will never be able to buy a car here, I paid the premium and I never have options to buy as a private person, this is only for dealers, it really is not worth spending that money, I feel cheated
