Copart been using and scanning buyers stating the wrong information on the cars they are selling. Some cars shows (listed) as run and drive even with bad engine condition (not able to start) happed to me and few other people we close our accounts. Be careful people!

They were super unprofessional and rude. I tried to call to see when someone would be out to get my car because I have appointments and the First Lady was super nice but couldn’t give me any information other than it had not been dispatched out yet. The Second Lady I spoke to in dispatch was extremely rude and short and spoke to me like I was stupid for trying to get information on my vehicle they are picking up. If I could pick someone else to pick it up I would.

In my personal experience copart is not a company that lives up to its word. They do not do what they say they are going to do. By phone they will feed you everything but the truth

Paid $35 for a Condition Report days before the car was to be auctioned. Before stipulated time. Never received this Report. Called Copart up several days after to ask for a refund. Since then called Copart at least 4 times over 5 months to get the $35 refund. Got the run around about whose responsibility it was to investigate why the yard did not send out the Report. I told them it is not my responsibility to talk to the yard and ask about the car condition and why the report was not sent out. I paid for that service. Got fed up and asked paypal for my refund. Paypal gave it to me. Next day tried getting into my account and found it was suspended. What the XXXy!!?? Keep in mind $100/year for the account. Two different service. Had it with the people. Now they owe me for the account that was suspended. Can't win....

Checked in with app, waiting times increased instead decreasing. There were 2 csrs working the counter that has 4 workstations. And the seated staff didnt help. I cancelled my “appt” . customer service mgr said she wasnt putting on more staff to help.

The fees in Copart has gotten out of control at times is more worth it to buy at the Facebook market place rather than Copart.

I recently created an account with this company in hopes of finding a crashed Mustang to salvage an engine from. However, my account was inexplicably “awarded” a car in an auction I never viewed, let alone participated in or placed a bid on. When I reached out to “The Yard,” as instructed by member services, I was told they would resolve the issue. For an entire week, I called almost daily, speaking to different agents like Maria, Cam, Naomi, and Christa. Each time, I was assured that an email would be sent to upper management and that I’d receive a callback the following morning. Cam even promised to follow up personally if there was no response from management. Despite all these assurances, no one ever followed up. Now, the deadline to pay for the vehicle has passed, and I am being charged a $600 relist fee for a car I never bid on. The company’s lack of accountability and poor business practices are appalling. It’s no surprise they’re facing a class-action lawsuit—I hope they lose and are held accountable for their behavior. This company will exploit you in countless ways, as I’ve unfortunately experienced firsthand. I’ve recorded every call with them and plan to take further action to address this matter. Avoid them at all costs!

Dealing with Copart via USAA. A guy used my car to stop his truck because his "buddy" hopped off his seat. Car was totaled USAA has Copart involved. 30 days later I'm still waiting for an email from them with instructions on how to provide them necessary paperwork.

Same as all the other reviews these guys are professional scam artists, auctions are not accurate or legit half the time and their auto renewal membership fee is theft by deception, it's not an option that opt in on but have to opt out if you know it exists ahead of time because they will pull it out of your account and not reimburse. They need to shut down with a class action lawsuit

Poor customer service!!!..... If they won't remove reoccurring billing on a credit card when the person NEVER USED their site, imagine the problems you will have with them on other matters! .....Oh and I tried to cancel the day the reoccurring billing for the next year was posted.

We bid on a crown line boat and wone. Out the door it was around $3850. We got there and found out that it had been backed against a wall and the drive had been stolen off of it. The manager was called and we refused acceptance of the unit. He agreed that there was an issue and we requested a refund. He’s now saying no I’m only gonna give you 20% of what you paid. He’s trying to cover up for the fact that he has a serious theft problem with his new employees. I found this out after consulting a few that I know I’ve contacted corporate and hoping to get satisfaction. If not small claims court, and they can pay $400 an hour for their attorney to come fight it. They’re gonna lose as I have pictures of the unit qt pickup and the lot add showing the drive was on the boat at the time of the bid.

Terrible business practice.... I was a member of copart and was signed up for automatic member renewal services....Today they withdrew the money for automatic renewal and I have decided to cancel the membership all together but they refuse to refund the membership money because it was auto renewed.....

This company basically stole my van from me. They are so disorganized that no one can help. I don’t know what else to do. But everything with this company is wrong. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced after my truck was towed here. I’ve been dealing with it for weeks trying to get it sold to them with no results. Every time I call, nothing is done no matter what I do so basically they’ve stolen the van for me.

This company is a scam. I was on an auction page and tried to swipe out of the app but accidentally pressed a button saying bid now and actually won even though I didn’t want the car. When I spoke to someone at the office and explained the mistake I was told I have to pay a $600 fee to cancel the bid so they can relist it. This company is a straight scam

What an asinine company to do business with! My car was in a collision and was eventually towed to Copart by the other driver's insurance company, Mendota (to save money on storage fees while waiting for the claims adjuster). Copart removed the license plates from my car and did not reattach them, nor did they give the plates to the tow driver taking my car to the body shop. When I asked the woman at Copart why they removed the plates, I was told "we have to remove everything to take photos of the vehicle". Really??? I called Copart to advise my daughter would be picking up the plates and asked if they would be ready by a certain time. The woman I spoke with was very evasive, stating she didn't work in the yard and basically had no idea where the plates were and that someone would have to find them; but apparently not her. What a poorly ran company. If it's Copart's policy to remove car tags, they should be responsible enough to ensure the plates are reattached or at the very least, give them to the person or driver picking up the vehicle.
