“Went into a coral shop in Glasgow (cessnock) placed a £5 each way on number 7 6.50 at Wexford duly won at 5/1 . Before my bet was placed I was standing at counter waiting for staff to put my bet on as she was dealing with another customer on the shop floor I asked could I get this bet on she then went behind counter and placed my bet. I went up to collect winnings and was told it was 16 second late I said I was waiting at counter before race was off she was on her own as other staff member was away for a cigarette I then phoned customer care who after a debate on phone they called the shop and all of a sudden it was late by 22 seconds and they checked CCTV from their security in England and told me I was late and wasn't getting paid. Now someone is telling lies 16 seconds to 22 seconds also CCTV was checked i don't believe a word they say anymore and will be taking this further as it was totally disgusting customer care from CORALS.”

“went to corals betting shop Bromley to place a bet. handed over a slip & £900 to bet on Portugal. got no response from the woman behind the counter watching her making phone calls. after a few minutes I asked what the problem was. She stated there was a £500 limit & was waiting for an answer to her call. we are now at 7.50pm, still no response other than the an sitting next to her being less than helpful. now at 7.55pm, too late to get to another shop.
I asked where the notice was stating the limits applied. The man stated there was no requirement to do this.
To add insult to injury, the woman told me I could now only place a bet of £450 at 8/15 but I could place another £450 at 1/3.
This practice is absolutely shocking & a real con on punters.

“I went into the high street betting shop and spent £600 £700 won £409 but a few days before that they should have put £300 on my account but I never had the slip in my pocket to say refund reson being she had debit it instead of refund so next time 30 May gave her my slip to pay back on to my card and guess what I check it this time and again it says 409 debit I ask her what she is playing at and she said it was an honest mistake I don't think so so check your recei or like me you will never get it back

Offers me 170 the other team scores in first half cash out goes low again... Second half my team scores in the 64th minute no cash out ... “I won just over £1000 on the betting machine and was told that I could only be paid in cash which, apparently, they didn't have. I've won similar amounts before and had no problem in getting the money paid to my card so called customer service who took half an hour to confirm that I could be paid by alternative means by which time I was on my way home. Back to the shop next day and the hostile, aggressive assistant told me that he couldn't pay me and didn't know when he could. Another 20 minutes to customer service helpline got a call to the shop and a further 20 minutes wait till I got my money. Naturally, I won't go back but no one who meets me would describe me as unpleasant or argumentative and I'm more puzzled than anything else as to why any company or individual would view any of this as remotely acceptable.
