“Front-facing site looks great for prospective new customers. Their portal for actual customers? Deliberately run to the ground with old code / bugs and impossible for many customers to login to their account to make payments. Little to no customer support (left a message using their suggested function a week ago with still no reply).
Undoubtedly a deliberate business decision to abandon finance customers after the point of sale in order to hope that inertia will breed late / no payment on BNPY so they can charge their interest - otherwise they make no money. Not-so-subtle abuse of their powers once finance has been taken out through Currys.
DO NOT USE (and I hope Currys' suppliers team reads this and takes action to switch finance companies as from prev. reviews this is clearly a common theme and putting off repeat customers using Currys in future)”

Agent Wait times over 60 minutes, tried to make a payment that was rejected but fraud dept called the following day to confirm it was legitimate and the caller said it would be OK to to resubmit and it would go through.
Just tried 24 hrs later to give the agent and their computer time and again rejected.
Plus since they introduced 2 stage security for online payment I have been unable to make any despite changing my Passcode (just in case) and entering the One time passcode sent correctly.
WHAT A DISASTER for what was a good free card for Marriott points and FREEish foreign transactions ............... but the latter is now changing to add a big fee.
NO WONDER BNP MADE SUCH A BIG LOSS last year !!”
“I bought a kettle on BNPL last year and received no correspondence regarding it post purchase - it didnt even appear on my online account, so i had no idea when payments will start or a way to pay it off until payments started coming out of my account (luckily i found out you can pay over the phone and settle) even after paying it off i’ve still not received confirmation my account is closed.
I also bought a microwave on finance but this time it appeared on my account and settled it in full. But again i hadn’t received confirmation my account was closed. So out of curiosity i called the same number i did for the kettle and despite paying the TOTAL amount on my online account manager i still owed £2.
This all came about because after i paid off my microwave (or thought i had) i cancelled my direct debit.
On the 5th of March i received a letter saying my direct debit had been cancelled and payment is required by 6th March 22 (a sunday). Naturally i was confused because no payments were due? I had settled it all?
They also said if i don’t pay by 6/3/22 i’ll be charged £30 for a late fee. This also made me concerned for my credit score (being late for a payment can’t be good).
In conclusion, i believe all accounts have been settled so any further issues regarding payments now are on creation. But this company is awful , taking a look at the reviews and my own experience - even trying to call them is a mission.

“I have spent days and hours on the phone waiting for someone to answer it I have £50 credit on my card as I balance transferred to another card and a payment was taken out by mistake so made me have the credit I cannot get through to get this refunded the customer service section is useless you just cannot get through where are these people and are they actually at the end of the phone !!!!!”
“In December 2020 I brought a gaming laptop for my son interest free if paid by the end of December 2021. So 3 weeks before the end of December I make sure I have the £1,000 in my current account ready for them to take, but it was not taken, get to the end of January and I find £65 taken from my bank under the name of creations. I hadn't been shopping for a few days so I knew i hadn't brought anything. I couldn't understand why it had been taken so I thought I've been scammed. Later in the evening my partner said is it currys? so straight away drove down there feeling sure it would be sorted out. But no it wasn't. Currys told me creations is the finance company for them but there is nothing they can do, they gave me a number to ring next day as it was closed. Next day I rang creations, after going through all the options, press 1 for this and 2 for that. etc. and waiting for a while I finally get through to someone, a Chinese lady who I could barely hear or understand, I explained the situation to her, she told me to hang on, I did, then got cut off! So I tried again and again and again. I tried again next day, 30 minutes on the phone waiting because they were busy, nobody answered, I hung up because I was worried about my phone bill,So this had being going on from the Monday. I had tried logging on to my currys account but unfortunately I couldn't find the password as my son set it up, because I'm 60yrs old and not computer savvy. And he didn't know it either. I tried reseting the password but it would not let me, so after several attempts and days of frustration, no sleep and a lot of tears I go back to currys. After 2 hrs of trying to sort this out I get through to someone on their phone. Then get told I should of logged into my account to pay it by the end of December. Both my son and I thought the money would be taken automatically by them. so because i had gone over the date to be paid I had to pay £275 interest on top of the £1000 for laptop. And that's without my phone bill. I had no messages or emails from these people, it's just like they hope you will miss the deadline and then have to pay the extortionate interest. If they could easily take out the interest why couldn't they take the 1,000? I am so bloody angry. I've had a day from HELL. I now have no money for food and all plans for my social life cancelled. Because I've been ripped off. so I was right in the first place. They are SCAMMERS!!! People please beware of these CROOKS!!!”
