They don’t post bad reviews Mine wasn’t excepted as I stated plant was dead and damaged in transit. They did not care The plant was in a damaged box, the plant was a damaged beyond it, spoken to a garden centre who confirmed the plant was beyond it, and advised me send back for a refund, after sending photo of damaged box and plant, there plant specialist said in return it’s a nice plant and there returns or refunds, It was there excuse for no refund, I’ll never use them again and a few of my friends won’t either, as it was a friend who said try Them, I wasted £20 don’t any one be fooled,

This was my first time ordering plants online and what a bitterly disappointing experience. Plants were tiny and not ready for sale. Some were very poor quality with brown withered leaves. I feel that i have foolishly wasted my money and should have read the many negative reviews first. I hope this review will deter others from doing the same.

Only wish I’d read other reviews before ordering from Crocus. 4 of the 9 perennials ordered arrived dead (dark mushy roots and no signs of growth) and two others looked very unhealthy with underdeveloped root balls. I Informed Crocus immediately and shocked to be told that I couldn’t return the plants nor would they replace them. Instead they insisted that I wait three months and prove that the plants are in fact dead. I tried to register a formal complaint and was told they don’t have a team for that! Says it all.

I paid £78 for my order and ws excited to recieve it however it never arrived. I found out after sending many emails enquiring its location that it had been delivered to a sports shop several streets away! No information about this was posted to me and i did not receive a single email informing me it had ever been delivered when I finally discovered where my order was all the plats had died. I asked for a refund and they point blank refused to even listen or apologise. Most shocking customer service I've ever experienced. DO NOT SHOP HERE!

Useless and blatant lying by so called 'customer service manager'. A complete joke and waste of human space. First review was deleted; too much truth about Crocus and their money grabbing business. Living on a deflating reputation. OVER-PRICED, POOR QUALITY AND EXTREMELY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. It's all about money.

Ordered 3 lily bulbs. Two fine but one damaged. I contacted Crocus. Was told to send a photo!! I have no access to do this - can only just manage emailing!!!! I informed them of this. They cannot care less. I would avoid and use Sarah Raven.

Second online order. The first one arrived - a ‘stick’ and a rose covered in powdery mildew. They did refund. Have also placed an order for a £70 ‘specimen’ plant which arrived covered in a fungal disease.

Firstly don’t bother keep your money and go to the garden centre or better Quality. Better still go to Sarah raven she cares about her customers. I placed my order for bulbs two weeks ago. They took 7 days to get to me. Dead! The shoots were 6 inches long on the spring crocus and the autumn crocus were in flower and dead. They answer I got from crocus was plant the spring bulbs and enjoy the flowering autumn on the shelf in my kitchen. Nice CROCUS. So There experts said. You can’t rejuvenate the dead. What I’m supposed to do with the bulbs that are in bud for next year that has had the growth tips knocked off, I’m not sure. This company has stopped responding to my emails and I get nothing of any use from the customer service. I think I’ve tolerated you inept way of responding to me, now cut me off with emails. So make sure if you deal with this company you use a credit card. I’m contacting my credit card tomorrow to get my money back. Don’t forget this company has backing of RHS. That alone says something about RHS. I think you have to be smarter than crocus.

One star is too much. This company is appalling. The plants are no more tyen unestablished small cuttings, a disgrace, This company is the worst I have seen, with huge prices and poor quality. I have seen better plants in Morrisons for a quarter the price. Avoid. £6.00 for the poor strawberry attached.

It has been 10 days since I placed my order for click and collect and I have still not received an email to say I can collect my plants. In that time plant company yougarden has dispatched plants twice by delivery that have reached my door and been potted (despite me needing plants from crocus to complete potting). Click and collect was meant to be the faster option and crocus was meant to be good.

Just received my order and I am really disappointed at how small the plants were. I ordered 2 of the 9cm Salvia hot lips plants, the pots were 9cm but the plants were just a couple of twigs with some leaves. The other 2 plants were much smaller than I expected too. £40.00 for four small plants is a complete rip off. Oh and the slug that accompanied them was a nice touch, thanks for that!!

I still haven't received my order, despite numerous phone calls and emails to customer services. I chose items which were in stock specifically to avoid any delay in delivery, even though I called a week ago and several times offered to pay for quicker delivery my items still haven't been sent. The items I didnt order becuase not in stock I ordered from amazon and happily received the items over a week ago. This is rubbish Crocus, if you cannot deliver my order today/tomorrow morning then please just cancel my order.

I was not aware that if you’re bought a voucher from crocus you cannot spend that amount you must spend over that amount. Yes unbelievable!! I tried to spend 3p short £50 of my voucher and was told by Crocus I would have to purchase another item. Appalling customer service. As a customer of Crocus over many years I feel very let down you

Ref: 5005569 I placed an order for plants on the 17th May - these were marked in stock on the website. Payment was made. I received a notification three days later that plants had been dispatched but nothing has arrived. Had I of known it would take this long I would have just gone to my local garden centre. Ive sent an email to their customer service but have not received any reply. My first and definitely my last time to use Crocus will stick with Sarah Raven for my online purchases.

DON'T USE CROCUS DON'T USE CROCUS! paid for "named day delivery" items never arrived even though customer services confirmed delivery for 5pm. Following day, still no delivery been on hold for 20mins waiting for an update from customer service. Won't be using their services again and will be seeking compensation. Spoken to Crocus they don't offer compensation. I either have to cancel the order or wait in for the delivery. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE FOR A FIRST AND LAST TIME CUSTOMER

I am a disabled, ex professional horticulturist. I was educated through British parks and amenity horticulture practice. This included part and full time attendance at horticultural colleges and establishments in the UK to gain professional qualifications in horticulture. I was also, sadly, one of the last of the dying, now defunct "Horticultural Apprenticeship Schemes". Please believe it was a hard trade with pretty harsh, by modern standards, rules. If we did not shape up during the apprentice days, or the horticultural college days that we were required to be present at during our apprenticeship, we were shipped out pretty darn quick, or bawled out by the management groups until we felt ashamed of ourselves and bucked up before being given our marching orders. So it is with sadness that I see Crocus, under the rulership or guidance of the RHS allowing the standard accepted Horticultural Nursery Practices to slip to the point of non existence. In 2019 around the Easter period I purchased Perovskia atriplicifolia plants, classified as 9cm. What I received was 2018 summer to autumn rooted cuttings with 2 main leaves up their single stems. Whilst I did not expect fully grown, bushy plants, I did expect something with a litle more growth than a rooted cutting. I also purchased Lavandula Hidcote in 9cm pots. What I received was a lavender a little more advanced than the Perovskia, BUT, they appeared to have been subject to having cuttings removed from the plants, POOR LITTLE THINGS. This Crocus, is not accepted horticultural standard. It is quite clear that you are not interested in the interests of your customer, but in profit only. It is not good enough and will not do. It is appalling that you treat your customers to sub standard growth plants with tip top prices. NEVER AGAIN. I hope people learn from this review and leave you well and truly alone. Folks please support your local nursery men and garden centres. This is something I am unable to do being housebound. I need to trust plant descriptions. Your descriptions cannot be trusted. You do not deserve our custom, respect or trust. Disgusting horticultural practice and description. I truly hope you go broke.

Buyers beware. Wisteria bought for £29.99 - it was 16" and not a leaf in sight - outrageous! Under developed and immature Hellebores in 2ltr pots that were neither flowering or bushy. I went straight out to several gardens centres and bought some that were twice the size and flowering. Poor excuse from 'plant expert' about how they grow them organically, rather than 'force' them. I don't give a jot about how they're grown.I had expected the plants to be of a SIZE RELATED TO PRICE AND MATURITY. I could have got your sized plants in a market for a fraction of the price. NEVER again. Trying to get a refund is a nightmare unless you return plants at your expense. Over priced and underwhelming. Still waiting to resolve this 7 days on.

Never use this company. Bulbs I ordered never germinated and Crocus don’t cover bulbs in their guarantee! Most unsatisfactory response from the company to my complaint.
