I would highly recommend them to everyone who loves dancing. Well done Dancewear for bringing them to the UK market.
Just be aware, you may need to order a full size up if you have got wide feet like me.
Unfortunately, my experience with customer service wasn’t as smooth as I wanted it to be for 2 reasons:
1. The size chart is not accurate or clear at all. I already had one pair from the Fuego US website, they have a different conversion to the UK sizes chart, so be aware!
I believe this is something Dancewear can easily rectify or clarify on their website, so this is my feedback regarding sizing - not clear enough.
2. The first pair which arrived was not only the wrong size but also seemed faded in colour and had a different curve on the sole than the US pair I had. I had explained this in an email and was offered a postage refund up to £4. When I returned the pair, unfortunately I forgot to mark it as faulty. So I didn’t get the postage refund. Let’s say it’s my fault but it didn’t leave a nice feeling as I was as very frustrated at that moment, trying to figure out the correct size to order.
I had to call them and finally managed to place my new order thanks to the nice lady on the phone. Because of her, my customer service’s experience wasn’t completely disappointing.
Below you can see a comparison of shoes from different sets (the faded colour on one of them).
Once I got the second pair, I have no further complaints, the colour and size were finally right and the sneakers are amazing!”
“Dance Central got me a pair of Fuego low top dance shoes - I talked through what size to order as it is tricky to get the correct size ordering online - the right foot fits the left is a little snug - apparently I dance better in them … just hoping the shoe stretches a little.”

“Ordered Ballroom practice shoes. Delivered on time. Had to exchange twice due to small fit but it was done without quibble. Ended up needing a full size bigger than normal shoe size. Only complaint was no free returns so cost me about £10 to get the right fit.”

“Easy to order on the website. The ballet shoes arrived by post very quickly.
The fit was ok although I have a pouch at the toes of empty shoe and the inner sole of the shoe is a bit uncomfortable under my big toe joint. it might be my wide foot shape needs to work into the shoe. I will try a sponge inner sole and see if it helps. The quality of the shoe is good value for the price.”

“Absolutely as described just a little small for me. It did say to order your usual size which I did. Ordered another pair of shoes in a half size Bbiggar and they are fine.”

“The items were excellent quality and arrived very quickly once dispatched. My daughter felt very comfortable during her ballet exam. I also found their video tutorials on how to sew ballet ribbon on to shoes extremely useful. I am not sure why, but our order seemed to not have been processed until I emailed for an update. 48 hours after my email we had the order, the reason quoted being stock availability. As this seems to be the reason stated by many reviewers for their dissatisfaction, perhaps there is something wrong with their ordering software. Anyway, I would highly recommend, but make sure you order well in advance and perhaps drop them an email after you order?”
