“When I placed my order on 8th December I understood from your website that the £169 price included a “free weather station worth £29.99”. This was not included. I assume the weather station features a hygrometer which I need to assess the humidity in different parts of the house. I have attempted to contact you by e-mail (yours is not working), by telephone (only a recorded message) and via your website (no response) so I have to resort to this review. The dehumidifier works well but the inability to contact you about the missing weather station is disappointing.”

Hi , thanks for the feedback. The weather stations are usually in the box with the unit. However, we have had to send them out separately recently via Yodel. I am finding that a lot of these units are not finding the customer so we have since switched courier. I will book another weather station on today and you should receive it in the next few day. I am concerned that you were not able to get through to us, please can I check the number and email you tried if you have the time to respond? Our team are available via phone and email from 8am - 5.30pm 5 days a week and a divert is set up to a mobile outside of office hours so we should be easy to reach. Remember, your journey isn't over with us we are here for any after sales enquiries you have or issues with your unit. You can revise your review at any time. Regards, DehumsUK

“Found all the information and advice i needed to confidently purchase the correct dehumidifier for my garage whilst my car is in winter storage. It arrived the next day as promised and is doing its job just fine......can't ask for more than that!”

“Price and delivery wasn't too bad but communication is very poor. Needed to know expected delivery date but no replies to emails or phone calls. Was looking to purchase an industrial dehumidifier as well but again no replies to emails or phone calls to get more information on the item required so that sale for almost £1000 went somewhere else.”

Hi, thanks for the feedback. I am sorry that you have found our communication to be poor. We were closed over the Christmas period (23rd Dec - 2nd Jan), so there would have been slight delay if you tried to contact us during this time. Our team are on the phones and emails from 8am - 5pm every week day. The phones are usually answered (via a divert) in the evening up to 8pm and at weekends between 9am - 8pm. “I paid an additional £10 for Saturday delivery. It was delivered on the Tuesday after I ordered it (while I was not in) and left on my drive (not the rear porch as the DPD delivery states, I don’t actually have a rear porch). I did email sale@dehumidifiersuk.com over 3 weeks ago requesting a refund of the £10 I paid for Saturday delivery. No reply! On unboxing the item there was no *FREE Digital Weather Station worth £29.99 with this unit* which the website advertises comes with the unit. I sent a query via the webpage, still no reply. Product is great. Customer Service is non-existent!”

Hi, thanks for the feedback. I'm sorry that your experience with us has not been up to the expected standard. I can't seem to find any emails in our inbox, if you find the time it would be very helpful to have a chat so that we can rule out any technical errors that may have happened at the time. I have had the chance to investigate the delivery issue this morning and it seems that the courier failed to deliver on the Saturday as requested, (we still don't have an explanation as to why), so I can only apologise. Our records show that we send a weather station separately on the 11th December with Yodel but I am going to assume that it is lost. I have just processed your £10 refund for the failed Saturday service and posted another weather station. This should arrive with you in the next few days. Kind Regards, DehumsUK
