I received the dehumidifier without the weather station that was supposed to be offered when purchasing the dehumidifier

Hi, thanks for the feedback. Your weather station is send separate from the dehumidifier so I would expect it to be with you in the next few days. Once you have received your weather station can I kindly ask that you revise your review to reflect the service that you have received? Initial processing was quick but my purchase was complicated by TNT losing the goods. That can happen, but the subsequent communications with dehumidifieruk was bad. Five emails from me went unanswered. Customer services were polite when I phoned them, but didn't return calls although they promised to do so. It took 3 weeks to get the goods which should have arrived in 24 hours. At one stage I thought that it might well have gone to default, and I put paypal on warning. Could certainly do better.

I am unhappy that I was charged twice for my heater, which only became clear to me when I viewed my credit card statement! My phone call to Dehumidifiers resulted in the processing of a refund that should be received back onto my card in 3 to 5 days, however, I will have to pay the 2 charges now before the credit is received! Why are payment receipts not reconciled with invoices so that you know you have over charged before such difficulties arise?

your on-line description of the Brolin BR10C MK2 I bought from you is misleading and wrong. it stated the unit would switch itself on and off when required by air conditions. When switched on the unit works continuously. this type of unit is not suitable for my requirements I have made inquiries by phone if the model could be returned to you and replaced with a model more to my needs. with any price adjustment arranged.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. I am sorry to hear that this issue has not yet reached a conclusion that you are happy with. I remember a lengthy conversation we had where I explained that the Brolin turns off the compressor when the pre set humidity is achieved but keeps the fan running on a low voltage cycle to keep the humidistat reading accurate. I then offered to exchange it for a unit that shuts the fan off and sent over an RMA form for the return of the Brolin unit. I have not seen the unit come back in to the warehouse. We only supply the best dehumidifiers available in the UK but occasiinally, like any other electeical product, there are a very small percentage of failures. There are procedures in olace to get you a replacement or alternative as quickly as possible. still waiting for delivery 12 days after order. and no idea when it will be made. When last asked was told under new management but delivery would be in a couple of days!! but still waiting

Ordered a heater a week ago, informed it was shipped the next day.. Nothing received, and no reply to the email I sent.. I will be contacting my credit card company if don't hear from them in the next day .. Update.. I contacted sales by phone to find that my emails had gone in their spam folder, I was informed that the courier had lost the delivery and that a replacement would be sent out for next day delivery. I have now received the heater only to find that it has obviously been a returned item, the box had be re-taped and the instructions were creased and stamped with a circular ring shaped stain, consistent with that of a mug of coffee. I have inserted the battery for the timer back-up but the unit still reports a flat battery.. since I wont be using the timer I'm not going to waste anymore time with this company. When you do phone this company, references are made to Appliances Online.. I do wander if its all the same group, I will be staying away from Heaters UK, Dehumidifiersuk & AO in the future...

Thank you for the review. We have since spoken about the first heater that we sent out that was lost in transit. Unfortunately we were unaware of this as your emails did not reach us. A new heater was promptly dispatched yesterday and upgraded free of charge to a Saturday AM delivery for your convenience. As you mentioned on the telephone, you would be willing to leave a positive review due to the way this has been dealt with if it were possible at this stage. Didn't arrive when it was supposed to was four days late cost me money to hire a replacement bad communication from salesman reassured me it would arrive on time when I called on the morning it was supposed to arrive asking for a tracking number was told would receive one would get called back no callback did not arrive on time supposed to be delivered on Friday did not arrive until Tuesday morning at a 7:45 with no phone call to let me know when I pacifically asked to be called by delivery company before delivery all in all in all not happy

The delivery of these marquee heater is usually next working day and a very reliable service. In this particular case there was an initial delay as the courier had reported a discrepancy over the address. On April 4th at 15:05 the courier advised us that you have been contacted and that the delivery had been arranged for Tuesday 5th. At that point the member of out customer services team considered the matter closed. To stop this happening in the future I have requested that our customer care team follow up with the customer even if the matter seems to have been resolved by a 3rd party. Bought an Eco Air DD128 8 litre desiccant dehumidifier. Arrived quickly and works fine. Unfortunately it was advertised as coming with a "free Weather Station" This didn't turn up and despite attempts to find out why my emails are ignored. So if you just want the dehumidifier then fine but don't be enticed in by "free" offers. Just makes me wonder that if something did go wrong with the dehumidifier what their response or lack of it might be

Hi, I am glad to hear that the delivery was on time and I assume that the unit is working well for you. We had an unexpected delay in the replacement stock of the weather stations arriving in which led to a 2 week build up of orders that needed weather stations sending on. This has never happened before and it was managed as best as it possibly could be. It actually turned out to be a much bigger 'manual' task than anyone anticipated due high demand during this two week period. I am sure that the member of staff you spoke to would have given you an accurate reflection of the situation at the time of the call. We have a healthy level of stock of the weather stations now and never be in this situation again. Please can you provide your order number and I will make sure that a weather station has been sent. Excellent quick delivery the issue is the dehumidifier has a funny smell all the time it is running ,and never turns off automatically like previous dehumidifiers I have had.i suspect this will be expensive to run.i am considering getting a different model for one that switches on and off automatically when correct humidity is reached.the company and website are excellent it is the dehumidifier not happy with.
