Hi, it is always a shame to see a 1 star review for something that can be easily resolved but we do value the feedback. It allows us to continually improve the service that we offer. The Fral Mini is a fantastic little unit and should come with a UK over plug. This is normally delivered on the same day as the dehumidifier. It is certainly not illegal to supply a unit with a fitted continental plug. It does state in the listing that this is supplied with a UK over plug but in response to your feedback we have made this more prominent on the listing. “Bought a dehumidifier from dehumidifiers UK as a replacement for one which had served us well over the past few years and was showing signs of wear and tear. The service we received was incredible and the new model arrived only 21 hours after placing the order online. The area where we live gives rise to problems with condensation but the Meaco DD8L Junior does "the job it says on the tin", a very useful and remarkable piece of equipment.”

“I found the website easy to use and very informative. The telephone assistance to answer further questions was, again, knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. The price for the dehumidifier chosen was the best I could find on the market and delivery was very prompt, the company using a carrier which communicated time of delivery so that you were not bound to your house for hours waiting, and also gave the option to deliver to a local store for ease of pick-up at my convenience.”

“I am unhappy that I was charged twice for my heater, which only became clear to me when I viewed my credit card statement! My phone call to Dehumidifiers resulted in the processing of a refund that should be received back onto my card in 3 to 5 days, however, I will have to pay the 2 charges now before the credit is received! Why are payment receipts not reconciled with invoices so that you know you have over charged before such difficulties arise?”

“Best customer service I have experienced this year. The delivery company (DPD) were hopeless and kept the unit for a month - we needed it for a house move and one phone call to the team at DHUK got a new unit sent straight across.”

“Surprising how much water was collected over 24 hours. A bit more noisy than we expected but on the plus side as the humidity can be controlled stops the air getting too dry, causing coughs etc. Did not use too much electricity.”

“solved my bad Mildew problem within a fortnight .. its amazing how much the condensation disappears with just having this on for 8 hours cost little to run takes 8 liters out the room . plus drys the washing out at the same time .. if this machine only lasted 2 years id buy another one every 2 years great buy great price ...”

“We bought the dehumidifier to help dry the laundry. It does this perfectly and has exceeded our expectations. I did not get the advertised weather station as stated on the website when I ordered. This was a disappointment.”

“your on-line description of the Brolin BR10C MK2 I bought from you is misleading and wrong. it stated the unit would switch itself on and off when required by air conditions. When switched on the unit works continuously. this type of unit is not suitable for my requirements I have made inquiries by phone if the model could be returned to you and replaced with a model more to my needs. with any price adjustment arranged.”

Hi, thanks for the feedback. I am sorry to hear that this issue has not yet reached a conclusion that you are happy with. I remember a lengthy conversation we had where I explained that the Brolin turns off the compressor when the pre set humidity is achieved but keeps the fan running on a low voltage cycle to keep the humidistat reading accurate. I then offered to exchange it for a unit that shuts the fan off and sent over an RMA form for the return of the Brolin unit. I have not seen the unit come back in to the warehouse. We only supply the best dehumidifiers available in the UK but occasiinally, like any other electeical product, there are a very small percentage of failures. There are procedures in olace to get you a replacement or alternative as quickly as possible.
