I am absolutely furious. I have used depop for over a year now. At the start It was going ok. Now in the last 6 months they keep removing my items. Just last week I had a buyer who kept messaging me to know where I lived so they can come and collect a brand new eyeshadow palette off me, but I kept replying to the buyer saying I only sell in the app I am not going to say where I live but they kept messaging me so I informed depop. Instead depop did not do anything to the buyer and instead they removed my item and sent me a warning about asking buyers to purchase outside the app even though I provided them proof of the message. When I contacted depop about this they said it was an error on the system & restored my item. Bare in mind over the last few months they removed more of my items that they did no restore in the months before even though I contacted them providing proof and saying none of my items went against their prohibited items but they do not respond. Now today I wake up and see my heels for no reason have been removed apparently cause they have been worn, since when has shoes being worn once been an issue? I've sold before shoes on there but for some reason this time its a hygiene problem?. These heels have been listed for ages as well as my other items that they removed over the last few months.None of my items went against their policies. And now today they sent me "final reminder before they suspend my account " because apparently I am selling outside the app. I've made no sales within the last couple of month so I am fuming why they randomly decide to say this. Absolutely unacceptable they don't even review reports properly. They don't even check the items properly or why would they just slap you with random reports nearly every other month. 1 day with a so called prohibited item report, another day with an out of app payment for a buyer report, another day with a used item report. Ridiculous To the point now they are saying to me this is my final chance. Well I give up and deleting my account before they decide to suspend for removing another item for absolutely no reason. Also the fees are so bloody high, they say 10% but it's absolute bull how they charge. Awful experience.!

Depop are a bunch of scam artists and that is being kind. I think they visit Primary Schools and employ people with similar credentials and you are lucky to speak to somebody that has year 6. Sold a product, sent proof of postage and delivery, allowed the person to set up 2 cases and then took the money out of my account even though they sent me an email saying that I needed to do nothing further and all was in my favour. It is a disgraceful Company which is run incredibly badly. What is the point in selling your products and them then stealing you money. NONE

Do not start selling on this app, they treat their sellers horribly. It is all spam and drop shippers and they take way too much money and do nothing for their sellers. You’re much better off on almost any other selling app. I regret being on here bc I barely make money and now I have to move all of my stuf

**Avoid Vintage Club Clothing LTD** Bought 2 reworked sweaters XL very nice pattern but not even classed as jumper/sweater material. The plain material is probably bought from China absolutely paper thin and not mens size probably fit a toddler that's why I expect it's from China because Asian men are small sent back due to wrong measurements. They just stick champion or nike badges on if it was that brand no way on earth the matieral would be like that and sell at ridiculous prices there customer service is non existent no contact Number he eventually replied after 9 days after I returned it saying either he'll refund me today or tommorow still no refund so I gave 3 more extra days then his next excuse was (I'm sorry 75% of my team is ill at the moment I will sort it out eventually in the course of time sorry man). Wtf is that about wtf I'm I reading I thought I was dreaming ******* 🤬 fuming unprofessional and immature replys still no refund

I bought a Chanel purse on depop for over $2000 that was advertised as authentic with box, receipts, authenticity card on depot. Bought it on sat and Seller say will ship out in one Tues. By Tuesday still had not ship so i suspect its a scam and ask seller to text me picture of purse prior to shipping. Still no picture or confirmation ship. By Friday I report depot again requesting a refund due to no shipment. Seller finally ship out that sat. Still no picture of purse . Once I received item it was a counterfeit. The chanel purse, leather, stitches, locks, hardware and quilting were all off. I emailed these pictures to depop and they refuse to refund stating “item is not significantly different” . its a counterfeit so of course its not significantly different but those that I describe. I emailed them pictures of comparison and even send them what to look for in a fake purse. Still depot refuse to acknowledge this was a counterfeit and decide to not refund and acknowledge this was scam. The difference between real and fake was so obvious but Depop still refuse to acknowledge. They ask the seller for receipt of authenticity and seller email them one, which was her grandmother receipt. You get no refund on counterfeit item and you get scam even though nothing in the picture was sent with the purse. No box, no authenticity card and receipt as advertise. The con artist will continue to use same receipt to sell and advertise fake purse and Depop is allowing it.

I've been a seller on Depop for about 3 years. This year they required all sellers to use Depop payments. Depop holds the funds for "10 business days" which is actually 14 days for "new sellers." They place every seller in the "new seller" status. After 7 months of successful sales in this "new seller" status funds are still being held. I reached out to their customer service to inquire about how long they will continue to hold funds. I initially recieved a canned response stating "for the first sale(s) funds will be held blah blah blah." I replied asking how long they keep everyone in the "new seller" status. I revieved a reply rather quickly saying they reviewed my account and seeing as I've had numerous successful transactions, they will release the funds next business day. My funds are STILL sitting, un-deposited 14 days later. With Depop continuing to withold hold funds along with a significant drop in sales since the first of the year, I am done with Depop.

Depop deleting negative reviews. I purchased a pair of crocs, a couple days later the seller claimed that they were unable to get to the post office (collection services from Royal Mail and Evri available). Before I could respond, they issued a refund. In my response, I said that I would rather have the crocs and there's no rush to ship. The seller responded, the refund has been issued and I can buy them again (they listed the item immediately and increased the price by £5). So I reported the seller and left negative feedback with the truth of what happened. My review was removed because it was deem as revengeful and/or hurtful, and not an accurate representation of how the transaction progressed or how the other user behaved. Your feedback has now been removed - kindly take this email as your reminder of the rules. Also, I have received several messages from Depop support - my account has broken Depop's rules. Reviews are available for a reasons and I left a review so other buyers would be aware of my situation. They shouldn't be allowed to pick and choose all the positive reviews when someone has had bad experience.

Funds are on hold or pending in PayPal even after it has shown that the package was delivered...unless there is something someone is not telling me about the transaction it seems like it is as I feared, the money was never there in the first place but the buyer received the merchandise from me, and then there is the issue of shipping being deducted from my account (credit card) even tho I had Depop shipping on (and another time the shipping was free even tho I could have sworn it was set to depop small shipping and now I'm being punished by depop for declining a price that I need to stay firm on because it nets them automatic profit from fees and shipping costs that I in no way can afford to pay for for the honor of being able to "sell" some things on their platform. It makes no sense why I am also being left with no reviews when others have more reviews than they have sales and that we all know it is strictly up to the app to decide when your shop get enough attention to make a sale and not some random happenchance thing with no context. If it isn't going to work the way it is supposed to the least they could do is provide stellar customer service.

On the 26th of June my account was closed due to ‘the use of stock images’. Since then there has been a lot of back and forth between myself and various employees. Some asked me to provide proof that images were mine, some insisted that my photos are in fact stock pictures. What doesn’t help is that each time a different person responds to my query therefore the whole conversation is incredibly inconsistent. I guarantee that all images on my profile were taken by me. I tried to explain many times that some were taken years ago on models (I have provided screenshots of my Instagram from about 6-7 years ago to show some of the photos). The more recent listings had pictures of clothes on either the floor or the hanger as I have a one year old child and no longer have the time to do proper photo shoot. The staff keeps insisting that I use stock images however they are unable to prove it. Even though I showed that some photos are still in my camera roll and some are on my Instagram. I have no reason to lie about this. I’ve had my account suspended in the past for using stock images, I apologised and vowed to never use stock images again. Since then I have taken HOURS to take and edit photos of all my items as I desperately wanted to do better and keep my account and improve it since it’s my only source of income as a stay at home mum. This whole ordeal has caused me an insane amount of stress and frustration as I have basically been accused of lying and stealing photos that are all mine! Even as I am writing this email I am so upset and angry that I am shaking.

Depop is an absolute disgrace. It's where so called customers go for a freebie, to steal money & goods from honest sellers & getting you shut down because Depop have an inefficient customer service platform and permits them to lie & get away with it. You list all details as an honest seller, actual pictures of the item, give customer services all the info they require to prove your innocence but still they go in favour of the dodgy customer after a freebie & your account is shut down & they keep your takings dispite your great track record of sales & feedback over the past few years! They shut your listings down for word descriptions also, I don't mean copies etc I mean actual style wording as apparently its classed as insulting. Had that numerous times, so this is the last straw, I don't want the account back, keep it! Plus FEES are high, as well as sellers being treated like dirt, you have to keep reshreshing your listings to get em seen daily/hourly, you can never talk to just one person in customer services, you get several in the space of an hour, it's the worst selling platform iv had the displeasure of using! Stick with other better well known selling platforms folks, save yourselves the time, money, stress & inappropriate guilty before proven otherwise. Absolute sh!$ show!

My daughter sold a few Tiffany and co. Items to one seller for over $400. I packaged and shipped the items myself via USPS. The customer received the parcel yesterday, but today claims the package was empty! This is an obvious scam! I’ve been going back and forth with customer service all day via messages bc they do not have a telephone number for their US customers to call! All they have to do is look at the weight of the parcel and they will see the parcel was not empty! This company is either in on these scams or they just don’t care about their sellers.

I was the victim of being sold counterfeit trainers. This was proven to be the case not only by my authentication but also an independent authenticator. PayPal ruled that this was also the case & luckily I did receive not a small sum of £225 back. I left factually correct & proportionate feedback for the seller who sold me the item - following Depop guidelines & giving a fair reflection of a transaction that was fraudulent on the sellers behalf. How else are we to warn other users that they are at risk of losing large amounts of money? The seller left me feedback, bearing in my mind I made a purchase from them stating “all his shoes are fake.” The seller has never made a purchase from me - so vindictive, wholly untrue & feedback that accounts to defamation. However, Depop, who clearly did not bother to look at one single fact of the transaction, removed my feedback as being revengeful & going against Depop guidelines! You could not make it up - you look at Depop’s guidelines around how they purport to protect users & create a safe environment - yet here they are intrinsically protecting a seller who has been found to have sold counterfeit trainers so that they can target other unsuspecting users. I have had a whole week of worrying because the transaction was a nightmare from start to finish & yet Leo D from Depop customer service has the gall to accuse me of being revengeful & leaving feedback that was not an accurate representation of the transaction - Leo, I was the victim of fraud, PayPal ruled in my favour, I received a full refund, next time the victim may not be so lucky or aware. Absolutely disgusting from Depop & I have no doubts that others will be severely mentally harmed by what Depop are clearly allowing to go on.

Gave them a bad review a while back for their Horrible service.. but in writing a updated one as this company will try to defraud and steal from you. Last week even though my PayPal is not connected as I'm not selling on there atm and I wouldn't sign up for depop payments as depop are not trustworthy when it comes to money, I got a notification a girl had managed to buy a item with depop payments. Of course depop had this in a hold ssying it would be release on a Tuesday originally they were told to refund her but didn't anyway on the Tuesday it said payment would be sent out to my bank next day so I decided to give it a go so I gave them my account and sort code.. there is a option to add your card details which I refused as know its easier for money to be stolen this way. And all that's needed to payout is my account numbers of course I wake up tge next day and they have not sent the money and have changed the payout date to tge next day at this point I contacted my bank and explained I was worried Depop and there money holding company STRIPE would try to defraud me, my bank in chat assured me theres no way they can take money from my account with those details to which I told the bank with those details couldn't they try setting up a direct debit to take my money. The bank assured me as long as they didn't have my card details I would be safe..... Then low and behold later that evening I get a email from my bank that a DIRECT DEBIT HAS BEEN SET UP BY STRIPE/DEPOP!!!!!!!!!! THIS DEBIT HAS BEEN CANCELLED AND BLOCKED NOW BUT SEE SO DEPOP DID TRY TO DEFRAUD ME ALSO THE PAYOUT OF THE SOLD ITEM HAS NOT BEEN SENT A DAY CHANGED TO TOMORROW... DEPOP ARE LYING FRAUDULENT THIEVES AMD I AM GOUNG TO BE REPORTING THRM TO TRADIND STANDARDS , THE OMBUDSMAN ASWELL FOR ILLEGAL PRACTICES. AVOID THIS COMPANY
