Love depop and I have no complaints at all. I really think if you sell by droops rules and do what you are supposed to do and be honest you wouldn't have any problems with depop. Sorry you all want to blame the depop company when if you listen to your story most of you caused your own problems. Myself I have really enjoyed selling on depop and I have met a lot of really nice people Thur the depop app .I want to say thank you all at Depop for making a great app to selling and buy on . 💕 Love 😘 Love 😘 you all.

Customer service has been helpful when issues arise. It's a very easy platform to use. Some features don't work on PC because it is an app first, but that's not too annoying. They do need to change how their algorithm removes items, considering when it does they can't relist it for you, nor do they have a reason why. That beings said, many other selling platforms do the same. The Depop fee for sale is also less than most other marketplaces. Better for fashion than most other items, mostly because of it's user base.

Depop's layout is perfect for the modern way of buying items. You can clearly and easily see all the products for sale, either on someone's page or while searching using the filters. It makes buying and selling really easy, especially as you can message the buyer/seller with just a few taps.

First time buying off of depop and was very impressed. i looked around to find a seller with good reviews and for an item that was described as perfect condition. As told the item was perfect and a really fair price. The seller helped me through the process and even included free postage for me. I was very impressed with the service, and payment was quick and communication was made easy. However if i had to add any improvements i would say that there should be more payment options as i had to pay create a paypal and add my card. All in all impressed but increased payment options would make the system easier. Thanks, would appreciate the giftcard ;)

Depop is one of my favourite apps/websites at the moment. It's really easy to find top brands for reasonable prices and almost all the time in decent condition as well. I have bought quite a few items from various pages on the platform for myself and others and I have always been happy with the process and the end result.

Easy to list things to sell, quicker then eBay but they take a higher % for fees. App is easy to use however biggest frustration I have is when you use the search tool, if you click on an item to have a closer look, then want to carry on searching afterwards, it takes you right back to the beginning so you have to keep scrolling through EVERY time. It gets really annoying and I end up giving up/losing interest. Get it sorted Depop!! Also Depop need to do more about the dodgy sellers on there, there are some nasty, dishonest little weasels still allowed to sell despite people complaining. Also too many kids using it making stupid offers on your items...if I put something up for ÂŁ40 , then no, I am not going to accept your offer of ÂŁ10 all in , jeeehhhzzzzzzz.

Funds are on hold or pending in PayPal even after it has shown that the package was delivered...unless there is something someone is not telling me about the transaction it seems like it is as I feared, the money was never there in the first place but the buyer received the merchandise from me, and then there is the issue of shipping being deducted from my account (credit card) even tho I had Depop shipping on (and another time the shipping was free even tho I could have sworn it was set to depop small shipping and now I'm being punished by depop for declining a price that I need to stay firm on because it nets them automatic profit from fees and shipping costs that I in no way can afford to pay for for the honor of being able to "sell" some things on their platform. It makes no sense why I am also being left with no reviews when others have more reviews than they have sales and that we all know it is strictly up to the app to decide when your shop get enough attention to make a sale and not some random happenchance thing with no context. If it isn't going to work the way it is supposed to the least they could do is provide stellar customer service.

They are a platform where you can put your items on sale however, the fees they charge including the admin, then the PayPal fee you literally end up making nothing. Why can’t this platform be free like vinted so that it can attract more users

So many fraudulent sellers. Asking super high above retail prices for items that are not authentic. Don’t think Depop has any checks and balances or cares about consumers being scammed.

you would think the mains issues would be with the app (10% cut being one), the real issue comes from the people using the app. they all want to low ball you. u listed an item less than half of its retail value at 9/10 condition and people will offer money u could find under a sofa... honestly why bother messaging someone if u do not even have the facilities to shop for second hand goods. honestly very sad they should have a feature for people to make offers through a system like ebay could cut down on the time wasters. TLDR; Low balling Time wasters.

I sell 2000 GBP per week. They removed the profile because i don't have a 1990s original reciept for some fendi jeans. The team are refusing to authenticate the trousers without the reciept. Even though before- they have pushed the authentication through without the reciept. It just depends who you get. So as it stands i've lost 100,000+ Per year because someone can't be bothered making a moral decision about this.

Depop have removed 3 genuine designer items in the last 24 hours, despite the fact that the photos clearly show the authenticity of the items and despite the fact that I have a 100% track record of selling genuine designer items (I have over 150 5-star reviews). Yet a quick search on their site shows that similar items which are clearly fake (from sellers with no other items sold, zero reviews, and using stock photos) are still there. This is absolutely disgusting.

The pennies you’ll make reselling things on Depop are not worth the time and stress. In almost a year using the app I had all sorts of bad experiences, including being harassed three times in my inbox by a weirdo asking me for pictures of myself wearing a specific jacket. These happened a few months apart, showing they have no control over people who are banned returning to the app. But the last drop was a sale in which I sent the parcel with tracking number, the buyer wasn't home to receive the delivery and it sat at the post office for 2 weeks. I warned her she needed to pick it up otherwise it would be returned to me, and so it happened. She blamed me (?) and I reached out to Depop to mediate. I gave her a refund on the item but kept the shipping fee because, you know, I actually paid to have it shipped to her, and the post returns the parcel but doesn’t refund the fee. However, mindless Depop support keeps regurgitating the same standard “buyer-always-right” response saying I should give her a full refund. So basically, even though I did everything right I’m supposed to take a loss out of buyer negligence.  In sum, they provide very little support to sellers while taking big cuts, including on shipping. It’s impossible to get eyes on your listing without boosting it, so be prepared to pay them twice as much as they advertise. Maybe you’ll have a better experience if you’re reselling luxury items, otherwise I wouldn’t bother.

zero seller protection. The buyer sent pictures of a replica item and asked for a refund . He kept the authentic item and sent me the replica. he scammed me out of the refund and had depop issue him a full refund out of my Depop balance. I Just met with my lawyer today and we will seek compensation.

The platform will allow scammers and counterfeit items sellers. If you decide ro speak up and make platform safe they will block your account. AVOID
