I ordered a sound bar from did online service two weeks ago. When i received i was shocked subwoof, reomte control and mannual leaflet were missing. Then i called the customer service they told me they are helpless you need to message help desk they can only help. After 2 to three messages they told me they are checking they will inform me. After three days i didnt get any call from there side. I calledon last Tuesday.they promised me i can get the product in tallaght squrebranch.Today again i called them. They replyed the product is not delivered. We will inform whenvthe product is delivered... More than two weeks from order date. No customer satisfaction. I normal buy the gadgets from Currys pc world and Harway norman.There service is awesome. This is my first and last experience from DID. I never recommended DID from my experience. Thanks

Ordered 2 items and paid for. Weeks later nothing. Emailed and rang and was promised a call back. Nothing. This is the 3rd big order I have placed over the past year and had the same experience both times and gave them the benefit this 3rd time. Never again. Have cancelled the order over a week and still nothing from them and they have my money.

Ordered ear buds on 25 November and they still haven’t arrived (19 Dec). I wish I’d read these reviews before buying.

Scam !!! I was waiting for my order almost two weeks and still no sign of it so I decided to call them. I was waiting for someone to pick up the phone for two hours ( online shop) . I rang shop in Clonmel and when I mentioned about waiting for my online order the shop worker was very unpleasant. The product was available in stock when I was buying it. They advertising products they do not have. After another call nice friendly girl answered. It still wasn't send to me as they did not have it in stock. I cancelled the order. Anyway it was too late as it supposed to be birthday present. I am buying nearly everything online but I won't buy from DID again. Pity they did not contact with me to inform me about it. They have alot to learn yet about online business.

Absolute joke. I never leave reviews but felt this was warranted. Ordered a hair straightener from DID 3 weeks ago (in spite of the store website literally saying "We deliver our products within a timespan of 2 - 5 working days"), still no sign of it. Not even an e-mail. As a student, absolutely don't have the disposable income to be throwing away money for packages that might never come. Fingers crossed my package shows up at some stage, but will not be shopping here ever again. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered and paid for a phone online. No sign of the phone being sent. Contacted customer service after a week to be told the phone was out of stock and their supplier had let them down. No one bothered to inform me until I made contact. Terrible customer service!!

DON'T GO TO THIS STORE EVER!!!! Zero customer service. They literally sighed over the phone when I rang for assistance with a machine that cost me €1,500.00. I have been 3 weeks trying to get it fixed and I'm still waiting without a leg to stand on our anyone willing to help. They simply should not be in business because they have no intention of honouring any agreement made. Really bad.

I had a disappointing experience at the DID store due to misleading products, inadequate pricing, and a failure to honor their Price Match Promise. The laptop I purchased was branded as Dynabook instead of Toshiba, which was misleading. Additionally, when I requested a price match, their customer service refused to match the lower price I found at another store. Their lack of adherence to their own policies and dismissive attitude was disappointing. I hope they address these issues to improve the customer experience.In summary, my experience at the DID store was unsatisfactory. The misleading product branding and refusal to honor their Price Match Promise left me feeling disappointed. I hope they take the necessary steps to improve their product representation, pricing policies, and customer service to regain customer trust and provide a better overall experience.

Apsolute disgrace of a company avoid it at all cost. I purched a gaming monitor off this company that turned out to be faulty on the black friday sales i repturned it to be repaired in January , it is now the 11th of april and i still get no results back . I have asked many times for my item back but instead of taking my item back and giving my item back they took a refund for it back and are trying to hand my a refund . When its not the case i wanted my game monitor back . So now im in the middle of bringing this company to the small claims court and i would advice abyone that is having bad experience with this company of shysters to do the same as they should not even ve opened there that ignorant and not one bit helpful and are only in it for the money. Anyways stay away guys if you dont want to be robbed or messed around with. P.s i still didnt even recieve my money back either

Do not buy anything from this store DID it is a scam. I bought a tablet online for my son on 14 Dec 2022 as a Christmas gift with 5 day pick up at DID Swords. Until now there is no tablet and they do not known when it will be available for pickup. They're selling something, but they don't have it in stock, they ruined my son's Christmas. he asks me every day when he will get a tablet.

The customer service at DID electric’s online is a big fat 0. I am still waiting for my order that I purchased on the 8th of December and paid for delivery, still no sign of it, I have emailed several times, left voicemail several times, that you say you will return call within 24hours, never happened, have rang over and over and can not get an answer on the phone. Very disappointed and still no contact with DID and parcel

I bought Xiaomi 12T Pro and Its Promotions Didn't Come I bought a Xiaomi 12T Pro by paying 800€ from DID Electrical's website, it was written on their website that they will give a tablet(Xiaomi) and a 100€ loaded card/check as a gift if you buy the phone. I bought the phone on the date this campaign was valid, but they only sent the phone. The tablet and the €100 gift card were a lie. They deceive the consumer, they sell products with false promises that they don't provide and promotions that they do not give. I have screenshots as a proof. I feel scammed, charlatanism is not an effective business model. I won't buy anything from these liars, never again. THEY RIP ME OFF. Don't let them rip you off too, don't buy anything from them. They will send your order incomplete, they will not fulfill the campaigns and promotions they promised, they will not give your gifts and they will act as if nothing has happened.

I purchased a Lenovo laptop from DID in Finglas. The microphone stopped working whilst still under guarantee so I returned it to be repaired. When it was returned to me, all my data and information had been totally wiped. This was an unnecessary action to repair a microphone issue, so I had not backed anything up. I received absolutely no warning that wiping my data was even a remote possibility. This is contrary to DID policy, which states should it be necessary to wipe data, you will be advised and asked to give consent. Furthermore, the laptop was returned with stress cracks in various locations on the keyboard. Having researched it, this seems to be a recurring problem with Lenovo products. Basically, if I open the lid, the plastic pulls in 2 different directions and the cracks worsen. I brought this to the attention of DID in December 2020 but only got a final answer today. The store manager I dealt with was very polite and helpful. But basically the decision lies with the Customer Service Manager. She has decided absolutely nothing will be done to address either issues of wiping my data without warning and consent or the fact that I cannot even open the lid of this laptop without the case cracking. I have been left with no data and a laptop that must sit open, in a stationary position as the mere action of opening the lid causes more damage. I have asked that the Customer Service Manager, who has never even seen this laptop contact me but I have been told that will not happen. I have lost all my data and am left with an unusable product.

Terrible customer service. Waiting over 20 days for d.i.d to call back to my house to install appliances. Called head office for help on numerous occasions, promised call backs to ensure installers were booked but nobody ever rang me back. Promised numerous times that installers were booked to arrive on certain days but they never showed up. Will never buy another thing off D.I.D. Spent thousands on appliances and tv and nobody cares to pick up a phone and ring me after Ive been trying for days to sort of things. Disgusted with their customer service.

Worst Customer service I have ever experienced.They sold me a faulty PS5 which was a christmas present for my kids and they refused to take it back and ordered me to ask for help from Sony which I failed to get thru to and I drove back to let them know and we tried with them but cldnt through and still they insist i take it back and go try, how??? And for how long.Manager was very uncompassionate and walked out on me as he said we r going no where, he was very arrogant.

I ordered a George Foreman sandwich maker online from DID to be picked up at a local store in Dublin. It said on website it would take 3-5 days. 7 days later I still hadn't heard anything so I emailed them. I didn't get a response to my email. On the 8th day, I rang the store and the guy said it hadn't arrived into the store and he gave me the number of their online team. After 6 attempts, I got through to their online number and spoke to a woman called Laura. She told me the order was delayed because it had been damaged in transit and was sent back and another one was to be delivered to the store. When I said to her that I had sent an email after 8 days wondering where my order was and got no reply, she said the woman who was assigned to deal with the emails was out sick. Then she said she was personally taking responsibility for the order and said she had sent an email (while we were on the call) to the nearest branch for them to bring it to branch that I selected for click and collect the following day and I would be able to pick it up in the store on Friday 22nd December. The next day after this call, I got an email from another person in DID called Shauna who told me the transfer hasn't gone through yet. She didn't seem to have any knowledge or there was no record on my file of the conversation I had with Laura whereby she assured me that I would be able to collect the item on Friday 22nd. Today, the 22nd the store will soon be closed and I have received no notification that I could collect the item today. I've rang the company 5 times and it just rings out with no answer. This item was for a Christmas present, I ordered it on the 12th December and 10 days later, there is no sign of it and no one picking up the phone. This is despite being given a personal guarantee from one of their staff that it would be on the transit van the following day to the selected store. I have now sent them an email cancelling my order and seeking a refund. I have absolutely no confidence in this company. Appalling customer service.

Unbelievable bad service. Rang to see if appliance was available and if could be installed that week. Was assured they it could be. Was given a delivery date and time 3 times and there was 3 no shows or call to Inform just an email to say the order would be rescheduled. 3 weeks later and after last no show I cancelled the order and requested money back. Very disappointing and very bad customer service. Will be busy anything from them again.

Absolutely disgusting customer service! If I could give a zero star review I would. Ordered a cooker on 9th of October, received an email on the 10th to say it was with a courier company. It is now the 28th of October still no delivery. After repeated conversations with customer service to be told different excuses ever time, requesting call backs that I never received I cancelled my order. Will never ever use this company again and I strongly advise people to stay clear of this company.

Terrible experience, ordered a phone on the 5th of December with an estimated delivery of 5-7 days. Ended up having to cancel it on the 23rd of January because no progress was made and was told the item was "discontinued", even though I was told multiple times it would come, just that the delivery was delayed.

Ordered online on Sun 15th Jan, a double oven. Rang on Thurs 19th to find out when delivery would be ( so i could plan my weekend in case delivery was going to Sat) I was told delivery would be on Fri 20th, I thought brilliant, no need to change any weekend plans. Fri came, no text or email with any delivery times so just after lunch I rang customer service. Girl there said she couldn't see a time yet but would ring the store to find out more and call me back. No call back was received, rang again around 4pm, rang 5 times and each time someone answered and hung-up! I rang the store myself and was told the order was on the truck, and that delivery could take up to 6pm. I thought ok , maybe I'm the last order of the night. 5.30 came, still no call from any delivery driver so I rang the store again. This time I got talking to a lovely guy who went above and beyond to help me. He apologies and said he didn't know why I was told delivery was today when the oven wasn't even on the truck!!! He offered to deliver the oven himself in his own car which I didn't want him to do, that just wasn't right. I said I can wait till tomorrow (Sat) for delivery. Sat morning came, rang the store at about 10.30, the very helpful guy there said the oven is on the truck and will be with me before 12. That was fine, then eventually got a call from the delivery driver to say he was on his way. When he arrived, his manner wasn't great. He at no time mentioned to me about inspecting the oven, but I did, I took off all the cardboard and checked it over, and only then signed his book to confirm I was happy. Then because I had removed all the packaging, I just asked if he was able to take that away with him (sometimes they do) but he was quite blunt in pointing out I had a recycling bin. A simple "oh no sorry we don't take the cardboard" would have done. There was a sarcastic tone to his voice which just wasn't needed and was just rude. After that then, the guy from the shop rang to ask if I got delivery and was everything ok. Only for him I would given DID 1 star but he went above and beyond to help me and genuinely cared about getting the order to me as promised.
