I ordered a pair in October. I thought they were great as arrived quickly and fitted well. Since then I’ve had blurred vision, headaches etc. Went to my optician to check I’m not missing something serious. The prescription in the glasses is close but wrong, the astigmatism reading is way off. I’d say, don’t buy from them! Wish I had read reviews first

I wish I'd seen these reviews before I ordered. My varifocals cost £202 - so not cheap. The blurred edges of the lenses mean that I have to swing my head right and left in order to read. It's impossible to read music at the piano which is one of the reasons I chose 'varifocal advanced', anticipating a superior lens. After a week or so of using them, I feel that I'm having to strain and squint to read. The clearest viewing area of the lenses seems to be the tiniest bit in the very centre of the lenses. Certainly not what I'd describe as 'varifocal advanced'. I do not believe they have two standards of varifocal lens as the cheaper version must be nigh on impossible to see with. I had hoped to buy two or three pairs as I quite like some of the frames on offer. I'm now convinced that they might not have been made to my prescription values. Certainly, the delivery was very fast, hence the two stars, but it now leads me to believe the making process was rushed. Also, they creak when I'm cleaning them. Admittedly, I paid extra for the thinnest lenses but that shouldn't mean flimsiness. Quite disappointed. And I don't have much faith in Direct Sight's refund process. I should like to be proved wrong by their Customer Service department.

Ordered some Varifocals from this outfit and to put it bluntly they are useless I have to lift my head up in the air to read any print at all and the long vision is mediocre to say the least. I neglected to read the reviews before purchasing from this company and that's a bad thing to do at any time.

nose pad fell off within the first week. When contacted, was told to return item for repair. No offer of postage paid, or prepaid return. Wont use again

I sent them a set of expensive frames to be re-glazed and they were returned with mismatched screws and scratches. On exactly the same day my friend ordered a pair of glasses which they claimed to have sent by first class post but had yet to arrive two weeks after their claimed posting date. Their delaying tactic is to say they are investigating this with the Royal Mail, though how they do this when they have sent the item unregistered is a mystery. Make a sentence out of these words: 'touch, barge-pole, I, them, with, a, wouldn't', if you have any sense.

I ordered 2 pairs of glasses. The first arrived within a week - the cheaper spare pair. The second had not arrived after 1month. I emailed and a curt reply was received stating it would be dispatched at the end of the week. This was not the case. After 2 further weeks I emailed again and received no reply. I explained I was particularly upset that I had no idea what was happening, I explained I was going to give a poor review and again received a curt reply stating that the glasses had been popular and would be sent soon. Had I not complained about the lack of communication, I would have been left waiting. Trading Regulations 2013 state that if a trader agrees to deliver items, you have a right to have them supplied within 30 days after ordering, beginning the day after the order was made. Customer service and communication could be greatly improved
