“First time trying Discountcoffee.ie. So just to try them I bought 1Kg of Metropolitan Blend and 1KG of Extreme Caffeine. Both to be used in a bean to cup machine. Order arrived quickly and in good condition. I like a good strong coffee and not bitter, so probably tend more towards Arabica beans. The Metropolitan Blend proved to be an EXCELLENT coffee with a full body, plenty of crema and no bitterness. I expected the Extreme Caffeine, which claims to be 100% Robusta, to be even stronger with maybe some bitterness. But this was not the case, it was infact quite disappointing in flavour and body no matter how I ground it, it never reached my desired strenght. Strange for a 100% Robusta coffee. Maybe this was a 'once off', who knows? However I will definitely order from them again and maybe try some other of their offerings. Good service at an excellent price!”
