Tried to get a refund, the site is in USD and I'm in Canada. Doesn't label the prices as usd on the website anywhere. Realize on bank statement it was over $50 more than I originally thought. Get refund through customer service, went smooth. Spent $220 and they sent back $205. They blame currency conversion at the bank. But public info on usd to cad xchange stayed the same those 2 days. Bad experience.

It’s very expensive, PandP is expensive,… the sign is tiny. Not worth half the money.

My Displate arrived damaged. The damage was clearly from shipping. The displate was in a thin cardboard cover wrapped in plastic. Considering the price of the product I would have appreciated better shipping packaging for protection.

Bought 2 displates for 142usd. DHL retains them unless you pay about 90usd base from the first day in customs. And if you don't pay adds (8.9usd +0.5usd(per kg)) per day. Impossible to cancel either webpage. Waiting for terrible customer support will just increase DHL customs fees further. This is borderline extortion.

Surprised by 65$ customs fee... While ordering, the small print says Customs charges may apply. I'm in Canada, shipping from US. There's free trade between the countries. I buy from the US all the time. I never pay a customs brokerage fee. For a couple of posters, it's costing me >25% more for customs brokerage. I tried to cancel the order, but Displate refuses. I'm refusing to pay the exorbitant fee anyway, and my credit card company will credit me. VERY disappointing.

ordered Christmas gifts. The order did not come for over a month. Had to call the company multiple times and receive terrible customer service. Finally I got them to send a new one but the dumb mounting system that they use caused it to fall off of the wall 30 seconds after I hung it.

The item in the photo is not what I received. I contacted support multiple times for a refund but they are ignoring me. I've essentially been scammed. Don't make the same mistake

The frames aren't frames at all. They're printed on. Buyer beware!

Got burnt by them after years of being a club member and purchasing displates. Decided to try the frame option to see if it would be easier hanging it in a frame but it arrived as a regular displate with a faux frame instead. They won't refund it and its false advertisement as they don't state its faux and I have to pay to send it back on top so to get a refund I have to lose about £20-£30 in postage just to get it.

Item ordered on 01DEC22, not arrived by 28DEC22 despite assurances from the customer services team it would arrive. Not sure how many times a delivery can fail or be ‘lost in transit’ and a replacement allegedly despatched. They have my money, I have failed promises. Stay clear from this company, I cannot review their product as they don’t deliver!

I recently purchased a Displate. The concept is a nice idea but the product is way overpriced for what you actually get. Add to that, although the information is there on the website, I do feel it was not clearly explained in an obvious place about framing. For the avoidance of doubt... Your Displate is not actually framed. The 'frame' is a faux finish (in my case a faux wood finish) that is printed onto the plate. Therefore the main image itself is actually printed smaller if you use a 'frame' that it would be 'unframed'. Furthermore, the 'framing' is ridiculously expensive. It cost me an additional £21 for the faux frame. I thought I was saving myself the hassle of getting the plate framed separately in a wooden frame and was willing to pay the premium for the convenience. I contacted customer services to see if anything could be done and got a mediocre response. Basically "sorry, not sorry" and we aren't going to do anything to try and make the situation right for you. I am not happy with my purchase, not happy with customer services and will not buy from Displate again. So they have already lost a customer after their first purchase. + It is an interesting idea + There are some interesting prints - The product itself is expensive - The frame isn't a real frame - 'Framing' is crazy-expensive - Postage is expensive - Meh customer services I DO NOT RECOMMEND DISPLATE.
