“FedEx failed twice. The first delivery of my displates was delivered to the wrong address. The second attempt to deliver my order and the package arrived damaged. All three displates arrive with a significant dent on the upper right corner, making them damaged to the point that they can’t be hung up at all. I’m disappointed that these three gifts won’t be available in time for Christmas.”

To this day i still don't have my package, which was a gift for christmas.
It was expected to be delivered between the 4th and the 9th.
In the end it was delivered the 10th, a day i wasn't home and couldn't get it.

“Package was over 2 weeks arriving, which was probably the couriers fault. Nevertheless, until I started enquiries there was no messages informing me of the problems. Considering that these products are expensive it’s a pretty poor service.”
“Displate’s advertising practices are misleading at best and dishonest at worst. They ran YouTube ads for a product only after it was already sold out, not to real customers, but to bots and resellers who immediately flipped it for over $1000. The ad kept running for days, dragging people like me to their site for an item that was never available.
When I called them out, they gave me the same scripted apology twice. And instead of addressing the issue, they confirmed the accusation by offering me a discount code for something I never wanted. That’s not customer service, that’s deflection.
I came to their site for one item, the one they advertised, and was misled. I’m not interested in anything else. Continuing to advertise a product people cannot buy is dishonest, and insulting customers with irrelevant discounts only makes it worse. And at this point it wouldn't surprise me at all if they were also the ones reselling it.”
“Tried to get a refund, the site is in USD and I'm in Canada. Doesn't label the prices as usd on the website anywhere. Realize on bank statement it was over $50 more than I originally thought. Get refund through customer service, went smooth. Spent $220 and they sent back $205. They blame currency conversion at the bank. But public info on usd to cad xchange stayed the same those 2 days. Bad experience.”
“My Displate arrived damaged. The damage was clearly from shipping. The displate was in a thin cardboard cover wrapped in plastic. Considering the price of the product I would have appreciated better shipping packaging for protection.”
“Bought 2 displates for 142usd. DHL retains them unless you pay about 90usd base from the first day in customs. And if you don't pay adds (8.9usd +0.5usd(per kg)) per day.
Impossible to cancel either webpage. Waiting for terrible customer support will just increase DHL customs fees further. This is borderline extortion.”
“Surprised by 65$ customs fee... While ordering, the small print says Customs charges may apply. I'm in Canada, shipping from US. There's free trade between the countries. I buy from the US all the time. I never pay a customs brokerage fee. For a couple of posters, it's costing me >25% more for customs brokerage.
I tried to cancel the order, but Displate refuses. I'm refusing to pay the exorbitant fee anyway, and my credit card company will credit me. VERY disappointing.”
“ordered Christmas gifts. The order did not come for over a month. Had to call the company multiple times and receive terrible customer service. Finally I got them to send a new one but the dumb mounting system that they use caused it to fall off of the wall 30 seconds after I hung it.”

“Got burnt by them after years of being a club member and purchasing displates.
Decided to try the frame option to see if it would be easier hanging it in a frame but it arrived as a regular displate with a faux frame instead.
They won't refund it and its false advertisement as they don't state its faux and I have to pay to send it back on top so to get a refund I have to lose about £20-£30 in postage just to get it.”
“Item ordered on 01DEC22, not arrived by 28DEC22 despite assurances from the customer services team it would arrive.
Not sure how many times a delivery can fail or be ‘lost in transit’ and a replacement allegedly despatched.
They have my money, I have failed promises.
Stay clear from this company, I cannot review their product as they don’t deliver!”
