“Had this on both outer doors These are replaments. Others burnt in house fire. I know they work. A neighbor tried to get in by shourdering and kicking the door. to warn me of the fire. Could not get in.”

“So far since I have installed your product I have been trying my best to override a strong desire to kick my door in. I have recommended your product to several friends and will continue to do so. I sure hope it works. If it does I need two more”

“The hardware was packed well. I was concerned that the long door jam piece might arrive bent a bit. It was fine. No missing hardware. The plates seem to be thick enough to add support to the door .After watching numerous videos I was able to install in less than 30 min. My only problem encountered was the Torx 25 bit shipped with the hardware did not fit. I don't know if it was the wrong size or just too much paint in the screw top. I was able to use one of my torx bits (20) to fit properly and complete the install.”

“Good product, except door hinge bracket it’s a little thick and makes a little gap. Nice screws!”

“Received my product in good time and well packaged. Instructions were clear and installation was very easy. It’s looks great with my nickel plated door handle and deadbolt. I ordered this from Canada and understood the exchange rates, however the shipping and handling costs were very high. The product itself was appx 42 Canadian dollars, with UPS shipping another 35 Canadian dollars ( 77 can $ now). What I didn’t expect was UPS adding on another 44 Canadian dollars for the brokerage fees and taxes. These two mini door shield now cost $121 Canadian dollars. Clearly the price doesn’t warrant the product. Door Armor should factor this in and perhaps make these products available on Amazon or change shipping company.”

“Easy and pleasant to deal with. But first time you sent replacement I never got a confirmaiton of tracking number so you had to send the same one again. If I would of gotten my replacement the first time would of been 5/5.”

“Would go 4.7 if available. On board with the concept, but until I'm invaded/burgled, don't know how effective. Nevertheless, think it's a great idea, so installed on 3 doors. One criticism is the installation bits provided are very cheap and actually twist until unusable. They need to uograde the weak "single- use" screw bits. Otherwise, looking good and hoping they work if the worst happens”

“The device was easy to install except for the screw heads ($14 for torx screws). Multiple ones sripped out after the holes being pre-drilled. Would advise company to switch to torx head style. Wife feels more secure with the device installed. We had had reports of teenagers kicking in doors from a tik tok video request in our area.”

“Easy to install. Appears to make your door very safe and secure. My only issue is that it creates an air gap where cold can get in (even with door insulation in place).”

“Bought the armor pro lock sidelight kit. I followed the directions in the installation videos and that really helped. At first I thought I would have to chisel some of my door frame off because I didn't have a lot of clearance where the strike plate goes. But installing the hinge guards first with 3.5 inch screws pulled the door enough to create clearance on the lock side. Everything went in pretty easy. Only complaint I have are the screws that are provided had a square in the head which kept trying to strip because the driver bit is too soft and started becoming round. Luckily I had just made a trip to the hardware store and picked up a box of 3.5 screws with star torx heads and used those as they were stronger and didn't slip on me. Those type of screws should be provided in the kits, not those square head ones that suck. Thank you for the kit!”

“only issue is you pay slightly more for colors but the screws aren't color matched. also would prefer square drive or star screws as they are not as easy to tear up as Phillips head. quick ship, as promised.”

“So i seen the videos, by Door Armor and seen the you tube vidoes of regular Joe's as well and it SEEMED simply to me. I have all the tools and such. Only thing i did not have was the 9/64 3" drill bit, and going to HD like always they dont have what you need. So if you are going to start get the drill bit way before, i bought what HD had which was 1/8 6 inch drill bit. I just bored out the hole more than normal, that took more time. Then when i took out the screws on the hinges on the my door they three were only 1/2 inch and one two inch on each hinge. So i replaced all the screws with 2 1/2 inch screws i had from a bath remodel. The hinge plates from door armor went on pretty smooth. I did drill the holes for the two small cover plates for the doors that was easy. NOW the long Jamb shield, i seen a video of a guy saying that if you can put 2 quarters together and slide them in the gap whith the door closed, you are golden. WELL not my door, so my door if you looked at it closed, the rop right has minimum gap and the bottom has a good gap, so the door was not installed correctly. SO i looked on the instructions for advice and low and behold it says to call Door Armor if i have problems installing...So i did, this was saturday, the door has some small parts off like strike plates parts, screws, tools, drills, etc all over and what do i get? Sorry we are closed on satruday!!!! WTF!!! No where does it say on the instructions they are only open during the week, so that was out, i looked on you tube for advice, but i cant stand the stupid music they play and tell you a story of how this one screwdriver was handed down from grandpa Jed long ago...GET TO THE POINT! So i gave up on that, time was ticking and i needed to get this door closed and secured. In the end i had to cut out part of the jam to make the Jam Shield have enough clearance that i could close the door. The screws by the way are real strudy but they strip REAL easy and that was frustrating, i even used a 15 to 16 impactm (not an impact wrench) on my drill to help but eventully i had to tighten them and then stripping happens, so that could be way better and maybe dont paint he actual groves on the screw? I did get it to close and all is good now but i didnt think it would take over 6 hours to add these parts with no help and just working through it. So far its installed and looks like the vidoes and such, and i can only hope that it works when needed.”

“Sadly this was too tight for my door to close. I did the two quarters width check Alan recommended in the install video before ordering. On the plus side Alan was extremely helpful with his sugestions during my attempted install process. A++ for his attitude and sugestions.”

“I have not put the product on the door yet and just received the first order. Everything was there that I ordered from you guys as far as I can see. I may need a friend to help me put it on the door as I have never used a drill like the instructions say to use.”

“was pleased with the speed of delivery. My handyman installed the backdoor one quickly. Unfotunatelly we are waiting on delivery of a steel front door. I'll update you the next time the #@%# tries kicking it in again. I'm praying it will keep my family safe.”

“Great product. Has good visual appeal as well. Would give 5 stars but hard to contact. We sent two messages on Shop right after order to try and correct it, asked auto response, and replied to confirmation email that was returned as not able to reply.”
