“Overall pleased with these filters. Have had various makes of carbon filter before, but after cryptosporidium was found in the supply, and stories of problems keep occuring after the all-clear we don't trust the water company at all. The Doulton slows the flow more than any we had before: the cost of better filtration perhaps. Our biggest gripe is the need to let it sit unused for a day after the element is changed: OK, we can open a bottle of wine instead but it makes the most awful coffee.”
