“I think the "1 day turnaround" is misleading, whatever the small print may say. I ordered on Thursday morning and the delivery was Monday. However, I am very pleased with the quality of the printing/binding and with the price. So overall it's a 'good' but not quite a 'very good'.”

“The website does not make it clear that turnaround does not include delivery. Because of this I received my documents a day later than expected. I was expecting next day delivery and thought that was what I was paying for. As a result of this I would be reluctant to order again. Does same day delivery mean delivery the day after ordering? If I order before 11.00am, would I receive my documents the next day?”

“Ordered a one off book from their website. I was able to upload the file easily, check the layout was correct, choose the colour of the cover and it told me exactly how much it would cost. Dead simple, worked perfectly and the book arrived when they said it would. I would definitely use these guys again.”

“If your document contains, as mine did, fairly quirky graphics, (from the point of chosen font, in this case Lucida Handwriting), then don't worry, the outcome and clarity was brilliant. My criticisms are that a sample print, which was perfect in terms of tonality and brilliance, was not achieved in the final print, which is a shame as the final print was significantly darker. The obverse page print also had 'line-up' issues, where the page print was out of line, dropping by 3mm from left to right, perhaps a paper sheet pick up problem. This happened on a previous printing, which was returned and resolved, however in this case the time scale was more important than the result. Louisa Gipps again proved to herself to be invaluable, communicating areas she felt to be of concern, which gave the opportunity to review my submission. Would I use Doxdirect again. Yes, certainly, but would wish that the areas mentioned could be identified, in order that the print settings are listed, so that they may be stated as a 'final print' definition.”
