Do NOT rent from these scammers! When you have been ripped off who would give 1 star. Booked a Seat Ibiza on 14th/10. The local supplier was Click-Rental. Price was about 68 Euros for 8 nights & I paid the premium insurance so came to 124 Euros in total. Also selected the full-2-full fuel option. Received email booking voucher same day & email to add flight details that I has already added, but did it again anyway. Firstly Click-rental made me pay for a full tank + 31 Euros filling charge!! It came to 127 Euros. I filled the car up on less than 70 Euros. Total rip off & they would not honour what I had booked. Worse was to come. DYS then proceeded to charge me twice for the car. It came to 245 Euros. Their flimsy excuse was I had modified the reservation as I re-added the flight details. Citing the car had doubled in price. Again checked the price when I got home & yes of course is the same 68ish Euros I originally paid. Would hate to see others get conned by this outfit, go somewhere else of repute. Received one email from them & nothing since to respond & put this right, customer support does not exist. Trying to go via bank for refund as paid on CC.

Said we had insurance but when we went to collect we had to pay an extra £250 for insurance. They now do not reply to emails. Do not use this company!

(1) After booking a hire car for a 10 week period at a particular cost - later offered a large discount via email some 3 weeks before travelling. Emailed in to claim the greatly reduced hire price but no response to 2 emails. (2) Unstable website…be very careful when entering booking! Booked an automatic and was quoted for - but provided with a manual gearbox on arrival at 9 pm at airport. Next day had to pay a further 15% to change and upgrade vehicle to an automatic gearbox. (3) When booking, advance payment not advised as DoyouSpaincom’s booking fee - not an advance on the rental payment. (4). Absolutely no response to any email communication received. Do not use this outfit - there are so many better providers.

Booked a big estate. At rental place they only had a far smaller car. Rang doyouspain and only offer was to cancel the booking. Rental company then offered me an ex Taxi car with broken backlights. Tried now several times to get in contact with doyouspain to get my money back. No answer whatsoever.

Do not use this company! The quote came out cheaper than one we had via easyjet, so booked. This was our 1st mistake- it ended up costing us nearly £1000! The paperwork came through which said we needed a credit card to get the car. We called and they assured us we didnt. We got to Palma then was taken to an offsite location to an EE hire rental. WedoSpain is just a broker. The car advertised is not even a car they own. They advertise false cars- we wanted rhe VW and they had some tiny jeep in its place. They asked for credit card and had the whole arguement as did every customer before us. We was there for 2 hours waiting in line as the company falsely advertise and give wrong information. Then we had to pay €280 because we didnt have a credit card. We left fuming! They made us but the top insurance and that we could basically set it on fire! We had to pay an Extra £80 for and extra driver- Then on return they wanted us to pay £60 as the car needed hoovering. We filled the car up with petrol and then came to this! There was no way they were getting a £1 more out of us! I’d of rather take their offer of setting it alight. They were very rude and abused us calling us racial names!!!! So do not use wedoSpain or EE car hire!!!

Absolutely disappointed with this company stay away to hire car with them the offer on website is good but the car come with no full coverage ( even if they say that the car is full cover) so basically when you arrive on the hire point (in my case I was in Malaga ) golden cars I have to pay an extra of £244 for full coverage!!! So I think is better book a car straight on official car rental company

They give you a price online for a car you chose, ask if you want premium insurance to cover everthing so you book all of this then then when you collect your car at your destination airport it's like that booking never happened and all you have is communication set up. You don't get that car, you're told bascially nothing has been paid for and then have to pay more. I paid £150 initially then got stung another £350 at the airport! Disgusting, avoid at all costs!

Booked and paid for a vehicle, but did not receive a confirmation email or booking voucher. Went to Del Paso Rentals in Malaga Airport with my booking reference and was told, no voucher, no car. Tried to get hold of Do You Spain for two hours with no luck. Spoke to someone the next day who just spun a load of lies saying that they did send an email even though they couldn't re-send it on request. Will not refund my money. Terrible, disgusting company obviously stealing from as many people as possible. Be very aware using this scam company.

Arrived to find the small we asked for not available. Asked to pay 900 holding deposit and a further 95 euros for fuel on a bigger car. I never expected this. I had paid for the highest insurance premium at time of booking. Large holding deposit in small print. Tried to ring customer service over 3 days,no response. I will never use this company again

What a joke of a company. Their payment gateway crashed on my initial transaction and as no money had been taken from my account, I went ahead and made a second transaction. I was only made aware that the booking had been duplicated when I arrived at the airport and I had two bookings. The rental company assured me that I would not be charged for the duplicate booking... but of course I was. Therefore, I go ahead and try to resolve the issue by contacting them... good luck with that one. After some initial failed attempts in contacting Claire Davis, I found a phone number, only to be told by Hannah that a refund is not possible and the website could not have crashed (I'm head of Digital, so I know a fair bit about payment gateways). She also stated that I was too late to try and make a refund. Ok, I asked what is the policy on time I have to claim a refund? You have to make the claim before the booking date!!!! She then went and hung up on me. What an absolute farce. Make sure you refund me in full for my initial transaction, the car was never taken out, so it's pretty obvious that the claim is valid! Or I will take you to court, up to you.

We were charged extra for not collecting the car 4-6 hours from Booking time. Even we paid in full in advance for 10days rent - our rental was cancelled- and it is normal practice.we had to pay re- activation fee- 150euro, insurance 187euro/ we had it all paid already/, and tax 47euro, plus 160 deposit for fuel, total was 530e extra on the top of 280euro original price. 160euro refund due if full tank returned. Absolute scam. My sister had to pay additional 500e and was told that doesn't matter how u book it - you will be always charged extra because its done through douspain. Absolute disaster to start holidays like that. I sent complaint to them but small chance that it will be resolved. Do not book through them

Through no fault of our own we lost our booking. We had a hire car booked in Tenerife South for collection on the 22nd October around 1pm. In order to get there we had connecting flights through Lisbon however because of a software update in Portugal our flight was delayed and we missed the connecting flight. As there were no more flights we needed to source alternatives which took us to Tenerife North (south was impossible) but it was a late arrival. Ok, that's the back story. On the 22nd we kept trying to call DoYouSpain to explain what had happened but the phone just rings and rings and rings, nobody ever answers. I sent an email to DoYouSpain but to this day nobody has replied. I got the "somebody will contact you shortly" email but nothing since and yes, I have checked my junk. We arrived very late into Tenerife North and had to get a taxi to where we were staying, far too late to go to the South airport for the car as I'm sure the office would be closed. So, the next day I set off on the bus to get the car from the other airport.... When I got there, there was another family in front of me having issues with the rental company, however their plight sounded very similar to my own. They also had hired a car through DoYouSpain but had missed the collection due to delayed flights but the hire car company refused to honour the booking so I was not looking forward to talking to them. The hire car company did not care, they simply kept telling me that the booking was now cancelled because I'd not arrived on time and there was no chance of a refund, my only option was to hire another car with them. When i said I've booked a car for 7 days, why does collecting my car on day 2 make a problem, i've hired it for 7 days?!?!? I was just told to take it up with DoYouSpain as it's "not our problem" So I again tried to call DoYouSpain and yes, you've guessed it, nobody answered the phone using the number the hire car company gave me which was a different number. This company is simply a scam job, they'll take your money and just disappear. Trust me, do not use them, they may come up cheap and you're thinking you have a bargain, but any slight hitch and you've lost your money and your car. In the end I hired another car through a different company, so I've had to pay for 2 cars to just drive one of them. I'm sure i'll get some reply about reading "terms and conditions" but this just garbage as I didn't miss the booking because of any fault of my own as funnily enough I can't control Lisbon airspace. Sometimes companies can't hide behind corporate garbage, they should have contingencies in place through "no fault" missed bookings. Greedy cowboys!!!

Fraud and scam. They took money, but refused to provide the car. It is not mentioned anywere that debit cards are not allowed for deposits. How should we know about this? When we requested a refund, they just do not answer.

The worst car booking experience ever! A nightmare!! Do not use this site. I have booked car with the full insurance coverage, when we came to pick up the car the rental company informed us, the car does not have any insurance and requested another 250€ for the insurance. I tried to call do you spain, but you can never reach the customer support, they also do not reply to emails. So we believed the insurance we booked via do you spain would cover us incase of need, but it did not. We ended up paying 400€ for invoice on road assistance which came to open the car as we locked the key in the trunk, to the rental company as we did not have any insurance according to them, and tried to reclaim the invoice by the insurance company, also asking for everything possible and not replying, just to avoid the coverage..... This is struggle is now taking 3 months, without any progress.
