Horrible customer service, hidden fees, non existent management...I could go on and on. How do they expect people to continue doing business with them, when they're treating customers like cattle? I'm Spanish, and to be honest, I'm ashamed that a Spanish company can treat people like this and get away with it. Please don't buy from them. They need to learn to treat their customers better, or else, they go bankcrupt.

I wish I read the below reviews before renting a car through Doyouspain on Mallorca. Looks like it´s a usual scheme: they trick you into buying a full insurance (Platinum Excess), which is not further recognized by a car rental service where you actually rent your car. The price looks very attractive at Doyouspain website. However in reallity you pay double for the service that they are not authorized to provide. I rented at K10 and they said this is a "third party company", so Doyouspain insurance is not recognized. I must get an extrta insurance via K10. There is no phone number at Doyouspain customer service. Now you understand why it is. Great way to avoid problems and claims from disappointed customers. Stay away from them and book directly through an official car rental service.

They give you a price online for a car you chose, ask if you want premium insurance to cover everthing so you book all of this then then when you collect your car at your destination airport it's like that booking never happened and all you have is communication set up. You don't get that car, you're told bascially nothing has been paid for and then have to pay more. I paid £150 initially then got stung another £350 at the airport! Disgusting, avoid at all costs!

Through no fault of our own we lost our booking. We had a hire car booked in Tenerife South for collection on the 22nd October around 1pm. In order to get there we had connecting flights through Lisbon however because of a software update in Portugal our flight was delayed and we missed the connecting flight. As there were no more flights we needed to source alternatives which took us to Tenerife North (south was impossible) but it was a late arrival. Ok, that's the back story. On the 22nd we kept trying to call DoYouSpain to explain what had happened but the phone just rings and rings and rings, nobody ever answers. I sent an email to DoYouSpain but to this day nobody has replied. I got the "somebody will contact you shortly" email but nothing since and yes, I have checked my junk. We arrived very late into Tenerife North and had to get a taxi to where we were staying, far too late to go to the South airport for the car as I'm sure the office would be closed. So, the next day I set off on the bus to get the car from the other airport.... When I got there, there was another family in front of me having issues with the rental company, however their plight sounded very similar to my own. They also had hired a car through DoYouSpain but had missed the collection due to delayed flights but the hire car company refused to honour the booking so I was not looking forward to talking to them. The hire car company did not care, they simply kept telling me that the booking was now cancelled because I'd not arrived on time and there was no chance of a refund, my only option was to hire another car with them. When i said I've booked a car for 7 days, why does collecting my car on day 2 make a problem, i've hired it for 7 days?!?!? I was just told to take it up with DoYouSpain as it's "not our problem" So I again tried to call DoYouSpain and yes, you've guessed it, nobody answered the phone using the number the hire car company gave me which was a different number. This company is simply a scam job, they'll take your money and just disappear. Trust me, do not use them, they may come up cheap and you're thinking you have a bargain, but any slight hitch and you've lost your money and your car. In the end I hired another car through a different company, so I've had to pay for 2 cars to just drive one of them. I'm sure i'll get some reply about reading "terms and conditions" but this just garbage as I didn't miss the booking because of any fault of my own as funnily enough I can't control Lisbon airspace. Sometimes companies can't hide behind corporate garbage, they should have contingencies in place through "no fault" missed bookings. Greedy cowboys!!!

Fraud and scam. They took money, but refused to provide the car. It is not mentioned anywere that debit cards are not allowed for deposits. How should we know about this? When we requested a refund, they just do not answer.

The worst car booking experience ever! A nightmare!! Do not use this site. I have booked car with the full insurance coverage, when we came to pick up the car the rental company informed us, the car does not have any insurance and requested another 250€ for the insurance. I tried to call do you spain, but you can never reach the customer support, they also do not reply to emails. So we believed the insurance we booked via do you spain would cover us incase of need, but it did not. We ended up paying 400€ for invoice on road assistance which came to open the car as we locked the key in the trunk, to the rental company as we did not have any insurance according to them, and tried to reclaim the invoice by the insurance company, also asking for everything possible and not replying, just to avoid the coverage..... This is struggle is now taking 3 months, without any progress.

Horrible. Should be flagged as scam. Under "others" it states, in fine and small print, that you must arrive from a flight, you must have a boarding pass (!) and a ticket to collect your car. If you have a second driver, the booking must be in the person with the ticket. In our case, we were told as the booking was in my name and my wife arrived on the plane, I am not eligible to collect the car with or without my wife and not eligible for a refund of my prepaid, 15 day rental.

AVOID AVOID AVOID My flight was delayed 2 1/2hrs from Stansted to Alicante, we where due to take off at 20.30 and land at midnight, unfortunately with the delay we didn’t arrive until 02.30, my father in-law went to the car hire desk and explained about the delay at the time I was supposed to collect car and I personally tried to call the office but due to the time nobody was in the office. When I rang the next day I was flatly told that the booking was canceled and that I would not be receiving any refund as I didn’t inform them in time, even though the office was closed and we did inform the car hire company (Ok Mobility) in person. Thoroughly unprofessional, they stole my booking fee when they could of easily just let me pick the car up later the same day. Very rude staff, bad customer service, my advice would be to avoid them at all costs unless you can guarantee your flight will not be delayed which is impossible, avoid avoid avoid

Booked a car for two weeks with the wrong pickup time, honest mistake from my side. We arrived with boat to Dénia at 13:15 and the took a taxi to Alicante. I arrived 6 hours later than the pickup time and my booking was cancelled and doyouspain kept all the money. The funny thing is the car I was going to take was still available at the car rent company. So basically I had to pay for the same car again. This is a deceiving business decision doyouspain has made to earn more money. They basically get to keep all the money and don’t give anything to the car renting company. They earn more money when people miss the booking time than when people actually make it to the booking. My advice is just do the search on doyouspain, but then contact the car renting company directly and they will for sure match and give you a better deal. I could not reach the customer service at all. For your own good and for your pocket avoid doyouspain at all costs.

DO NOT pre-PAY THEM. They left me stranded at Barcelona Airport on a rental I made on the 21st of May 2022 on line on a specified type of car I rented and paid in full with my credit car on line. They sent me a voucher and I took it to Gold Car rental (actual car rental) On arrival on June 5th in Barcelona Airport. Gold Car rental denied their voucher and told me that they have NOT received any payment from DoYouSpain.com and I was request to pay the rental again and to take the insurance. When I refused I was told to contact Do You Spain. When tried to call no one answer the phone. I was left my self and family stranded causing a great deal of stress and expenses. Have tried to get my money back but DYS refused to reply my emails.

Warning: Their Platinum Excess Waiver Full Protection is useless. Do not book with this company. The insurance they sell will not remove the excess deposit, so you must pay a €1350 deposit when you pick up the car. This is a scam, and nobody should use this third-party website. Instead, book the car directly with the rental company, so you don’t have to pay a deposit when you have paid the full insurance. I called their support five minutes after I booked the car to request a full refund because I was misled as it was not mentioned in the booking form that I would have to pay the €1350 deposit. The information about the deposit was only provided by email after I paid, obviously because they know that nobody would book a car with them if they said that there was a €1350 deposit to be paid when collecting the car. Their support is terrible, as they said there would be no way I could get a refund because I could just have read the small print in their terms and conditions. This company is nothing but a scam company, and I will now report to Visa and MasterCard and request my bank to do a chargeback because of fraud. Lesson learned, and in the future, I will always book direct instead of booking via third-party scammers Do You Spain Do You Spain: I will keep posting bad reviews until I get the refund. I guess you know who is going to be the loser here ;)

Disgraceful company who left me stranded in Milan airport with my 3 small children without a car, after initially accepting they were in the wrong and I was due a refund and compensation they soon backtracked and then started to ignore me. They effectively stole money from me because they did not provide the service I had paid for.

Beware Scam Scam Scam Scam!!! Absolutely disgusted by this company DOYOUSPAIN.COM!!! I ordered and paid for a rental car to pick up today with FULL Insurance for 10 days at €173 all inclusive!!! Immediately the company took €173 from.my credit card When I arrived and waited 40 minutes to be served at valencia Airport I was told that in fact the car was Not fully insured and that I would have to pay a extra €269 and also €150 deposit incase I smoked in the car! (I'm a None smoker!!) Plus we had to pay a extra €100 for fuel Aaand that they wanted to freeze another €1200 on my credit card i case i had a accident what the actual Fu€k DOYOUSPAIN.COM really this is FAULSE ADVERTISING!!!!! I asked the lady behind the counter why this is happening and she said all day every day she gets yelled at by unhappy customers who book through DOYOUSPAIN.COM Maybe they should be called We.Will.Do.You.In.Spain.COM So today we left without a car so our holiday is ruined and they wont refund the €173 they STOLE from our credit card with there small print rules!!!!! I asked the lovely lady at Ok Rentals how many clients have to pay for damage and she said 95% and because you book though DoYouSpain.com if theres a claim for even the smallest scratch then we must pay for the damage then try to claim online through the online booking company After we cancelled the lady said at least 5 people a day at her office end up walking away without a car and still having to pay for the car and insurance because it's taken from your credit card and you have a zero change of getti g back the money and the risk is too high to not take out the extra insurance here in spain So in short we thought 10 days all inclusive was going to cost €173 but in fact it would have cost us €693 and a €1200 freeze on my credit card This is the worst experience weve had here in spain FU€K YOU doyouspain.com 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

HORRIBLE COMPANY!! Exercise extreme care when dealing with DOYOUSPAIN.COM. I was scammed by DOYOUSPAIN.COM after renting a car from them for 16 days in Alicante, Spain. Despite a 3-hour delay in my international flight, upon arrival to pick up the car, my reservation was inexplicably and conveniently canceled, and the entire 16-day fee was charged. Inside their pick-up office, located outside the airport in an isolated parking lot, I was faced with an exorbitant new reservation cost—more than three times the original amount. Regrettably, the company proved unresponsive, offering no resolution, no refund, partial refund, credit, or any form of assistance. They pocketed 500 euros for a 16-day reservation without providing the promised car. Beware of DOYOUSPAIN.COM, a horrible online only SCAM!

Do not use this company! The quote came out cheaper than one we had via easyjet, so booked. This was our 1st mistake- it ended up costing us nearly £1000! The paperwork came through which said we needed a credit card to get the car. We called and they assured us we didnt. We got to Palma then was taken to an offsite location to an EE hire rental. WedoSpain is just a broker. The car advertised is not even a car they own. They advertise false cars- we wanted rhe VW and they had some tiny jeep in its place. They asked for credit card and had the whole arguement as did every customer before us. We was there for 2 hours waiting in line as the company falsely advertise and give wrong information. Then we had to pay €280 because we didnt have a credit card. We left fuming! They made us but the top insurance and that we could basically set it on fire! We had to pay an Extra £80 for and extra driver- Then on return they wanted us to pay £60 as the car needed hoovering. We filled the car up with petrol and then came to this! There was no way they were getting a £1 more out of us! I’d of rather take their offer of setting it alight. They were very rude and abused us calling us racial names!!!! So do not use wedoSpain or EE car hire!!!

Booked and paid for a vehicle, but did not receive a confirmation email or booking voucher. Went to Del Paso Rentals in Malaga Airport with my booking reference and was told, no voucher, no car. Tried to get hold of Do You Spain for two hours with no luck. Spoke to someone the next day who just spun a load of lies saying that they did send an email even though they couldn't re-send it on request. Will not refund my money. Terrible, disgusting company obviously stealing from as many people as possible. Be very aware using this scam company.

What a joke of a company. Their payment gateway crashed on my initial transaction and as no money had been taken from my account, I went ahead and made a second transaction. I was only made aware that the booking had been duplicated when I arrived at the airport and I had two bookings. The rental company assured me that I would not be charged for the duplicate booking... but of course I was. Therefore, I go ahead and try to resolve the issue by contacting them... good luck with that one. After some initial failed attempts in contacting Claire Davis, I found a phone number, only to be told by Hannah that a refund is not possible and the website could not have crashed (I'm head of Digital, so I know a fair bit about payment gateways). She also stated that I was too late to try and make a refund. Ok, I asked what is the policy on time I have to claim a refund? You have to make the claim before the booking date!!!! She then went and hung up on me. What an absolute farce. Make sure you refund me in full for my initial transaction, the car was never taken out, so it's pretty obvious that the claim is valid! Or I will take you to court, up to you.

We were charged extra for not collecting the car 4-6 hours from Booking time. Even we paid in full in advance for 10days rent - our rental was cancelled- and it is normal practice.we had to pay re- activation fee- 150euro, insurance 187euro/ we had it all paid already/, and tax 47euro, plus 160 deposit for fuel, total was 530e extra on the top of 280euro original price. 160euro refund due if full tank returned. Absolute scam. My sister had to pay additional 500e and was told that doesn't matter how u book it - you will be always charged extra because its done through douspain. Absolute disaster to start holidays like that. I sent complaint to them but small chance that it will be resolved. Do not book through them
