“I purchased a carpet in December. By July it had developed a fault. I emailed Dunelm customer services and got a very quick response. They arranged for the carpet to be collected on a certain date, which it was. As soon as it was returned they arranged for my refund which was in my account within five days. I cannot praise Dunelm’s customer services enough. They were extremely helpful and polite and dealt with my problem speedily. Thank you Dunelm.”

“Re: Made to Measure Curtians & off the shelf curtains. We had an issue with one of the sets of made to measure curtains & Robert Rees Wall "Made to Measure Consultant" Blackpool Store" (Squires Gate Lane, Blackpool) was fantastic & extremly helpful & professional in dealing with us from start to finish. On a score of 1 to 10 then if we could have given Robert 11 then we would have done. Many Thanks Again.”

“I wanted some new curtains but I wanted a specific shade of teal, not shiny, not dull, warm and vibrant and they had exactly what I wanted and the six large sizes I wanted! They were in the 20% sale after Christmas and that made them even better value. I ordered on line and picked them up before the 3 hours waiting gap forecast. Very impressive!”

“An order was placed with Dunelm almost a month ago for a small table, and Dunelm then sent an email saying they couldn’t supply it and will return our money. Why it took a month to realise they couldn’t supply it is a mystery”

“Poor service with altering 3 sets curtains as they advised that they will be ready within 2-3 weeks. I am still waiting after 3 weeks on confirmation from Dunelm as to when they will be available.”

“Very noisy dorma duvet! Dorma pillows also not made the same anymore! For cotton outers why so crispy like coated with something. Cotton on other products remains soft and comfy. From previous dorma pillows I hoped the quality was still there. Replaced pillows not worth it. Found a better alternative after wasting £22 sadly. Duvet is ok not worth the sale value over £40 wouldn’t pay £60”

“Ordered Somerset small double divan. The bed itself was very easy to put together although it doesn't come with instructions so you have to go with your common sense! The delivery service was prompt in that they did call when on the way. My only gripe which I have taken up with head office is that the courier drivers did not wear mask on delivering the item and it took for me to question this before he checked if had one in van! The bed is fine as a first bigger bed for teenager which is the case with us but you get what you pay for so don't expect amazing quality. If for adults looking for a really nice bed probably not. Material on the base is so thin and tightly pulled over the frame that it has frayed on the corner. The drawers are definitely not going to be strong enough to take much weight so again if that's what you want it for you will only be able to pack them with very light things otherwise will put too much strain on bottom. Having said this it's perfectly nice looking when it is put together and seems comfortable and I'm sure my son will be very happy with it”

“Ordered an IVORY coloured wardrobe. Received a GREY wardrobe. Have sent three emails without a word in response. Got to keep the wardrobe as i desperately needed storage. But a word of apology would have been nice. Very poor customer service just ignoring customers. Very quick to take my money though surprise surprise. Never use them again”

“Good prices/quality but delivery was very poor. After ordering 8 days ago my delivery arrived but 4 of the 5 items are missing! No indication on website as to why. Called them, it connects but get voice saying Sorry, number unavailable.”

“Once again left standing in a queue while the staff behind the tills had a good old chat. Ended up leaving my basket and shopped elsewhere this time. How they remain in business with such poor staff defies me.”

“Bought Edison blackout curtains, because many curtain shops have closed buying online is a night mare for buying you need to look at the material, I went back to dunelm hoping to take a look at white curtains, but they have a lack of white curtains on show, so after weeks of looking i took the plunge and ordered the above, they have black marks on two of the curtains, I think online curtains shops need to re think and hand out samples for ready made curtains, because if you are not liking the curtains u have to wait for refund, so I will be keeping these curtains, that are not of good quality until I can find a better quality”

“Dunelm’s Cooler Than Memory Foam Topper Is nothing like Memory Foam! I wouldn’t recommend this product if you were wanting some extra cushion on your bed!”

“Really disappointed with the delivery service. 1 item first date was 31.3.21, this then changed to on or before 5th April to be delivered with a second item I presume? Date then changed to 9th April that has now changed to 48hrs from 9th April. Just waiting to see if the items turn up by the 11th??? Didn't expect delivery to take so long. Won't use again. If it's not in store or available for click & collect I'll look elsewhere 😔”

“Was told 2 items out of 4 were not available. The 4 items then arrived. Two items damaged....insufficient packing? ? Photos of worst..... I hope dunelm offer a solution to this...... I have tried to use the option to add photos to this review but surprise surprise it won't let me”

“I bought my bedroom curtains from dunelm about one year ago.Recently redecorated so took them to be dry cleaned in accordance with the label instructions . The dry cleaner phoned today to say that the curtains cannot be dry cleaned due to the backing on them , if I sponge them it will leave water Mark's and the backing will disintegrate if I try and wash them ! I am not happy at having to buy another pair of curtains.”
