“Easy to deal with.
Some of the selected accommodations were spartan (lack of hot water, poor wifi, etc...). Restuarant meals were limited to select menu items or a standardized meal. Some of the street restaurants for lunch were better than the hotel venues.
Transportation via bus was excellent with Freddie... amazing talent getting the bus to sites and back. Bus itself was not comfortable with very narrow legroom making long distance travel painful.”

“We really enjoyed our trip to Hawaii with Eagle-Eye tours. Originally, we wanted to go with another tour company, but they were fully booked. Eagle-Eye was less expensive and we thought, why not. Everything was well planned and we got to see all our target species. The Kauaii hotel and the Volcanoe Inn (change to the Volcanoe lodge overlooking the volcanoe for almost the same price)could be upgraded to a better hotel. We also recommend that dinner be included at a higher price because many of the restaurants had rules that they would not split bills. Our guides were excellent.”

We appreciate your constructive comments as well. Based on similar feedback, we’re planning to include dinners in the tour cost for future departures to help simplify logistics—especially with restaurants that don't accommodate split bills.
Regarding accommodations, we’ve taken a close look at the Volcano Village Lodge and found it to be significantly more expensive than the Volcano Inn, which is why we opted for the latter to keep the tour accessible while still while still offering a local feel and a pleasant outdoor setting. That said, we are exploring alternative lodging options in the area that offer more comfort while still fitting within our pricing structure.

“Great tour options and very impressed with guides.
Some improvements could be made with scheduled locations and choice of time spent in less natural areas. If Arenal location was second after coast, would have involved less driving through city areas. Also, water in central highlands was questionable any some people got sick. Tour should have individual bottled water available. Food was amazing…kudos to lunch locations!”

This past year, we worked closely with our local guides to refine the schedule, balancing travel time with the best possible birding opportunities. It’s also possible the guide chose that specific route for logistical reasons, and we’ll review this with the team.
Regarding drinking water in the central highlands, this hasn’t been a common concern, but we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. We will make sure our team evaluates this and considers providing alternative drinking water options in the future to ensure everyone’s comfort.

“The hotel where we stayed in Corpus Christi was subpar. My room had a stained/dirty carpet which made me wonder about the facility. The rest of the lodging was satisfactory to excellent. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the travel plans & accomodationd.”

“Tour well put together. Responsive to queries. Maybe needed a bit more detail on how to exit Tocumen which has two terminals, landing at one and leaving through the other one. Perhaps a bit more info on the terrain that would be covered which was quite difficult at times. As in my previous tour extremely knowledgeable guides. Very energetic.”

“This birding trip to Namibia etc by Birding Ecotours was pretty well as described pre tour. The guide was excellent and dealt as well as possible with all problems. The vehicle was not very good, tire problems, problems with the luggage trailer, air conditioner barely working in extreme heat. There was confusion about tips; which are included ? Every lodge has a guide or 2 added. Are their tips included? The accommodation was very good to fair, and food was good. Birding was very good with a decent final list. Overall happy with experience.”
“The guides were excellent. We saw all of the endemics except the owl and nightjar - which we heard. ALso was a good selection of other birds. The meals should have been a bit more organized.”
“Overall I had a good trip to Cuba. We had excellent guides, very good looks at many target species, very good transportation and the majority of our accommodations were good to very good; one location for 3 nights was more on the poor side, with no water on one morning and then no hot water in the afternoon. Our needs were communicated to the hotel staff and things were much improved the following morning. I found the food rather repetitive from day to day, lunch was the same as dinner with a protein option. The Restaurants were clean and the staff very good. We saw a good variety of habitats and natural areas. Cuba has some beautiful natural areas and scenery. It would be great if they could develop an eco tourism industry.”
“This was a great trip exploring much of Manitoba and its varied ecosystems. The guide as with all Eagle Eye guides was very good Ken was an excellent birder finding many birds for the group and lots of mammals for the non birders.”
“I would have liked to have given 4.5 stars (can't imagine giving 5 stars to anything). The combination of an otherworldly-like landscape, rich wildlife, attentive local guides (with cultural insights) and with-it, lead guide Cam made for an experience of a lifetime. A perfect balance of a sense of adventure without undo hardship. A trip to the arctic will never be inexpensive, but my trip was well worth every penny spent (and I paid for three!).
