I have taken two tours with Eagle-Eye Tours and I would happily recommend them. Excellent itineraries, great guides, wonderful birding.

Really good tour that incorporated the high end and grassroots experiences. I love that the tour also incorporated a bit of not-to-be missed cultural sites. This was a fantastic bird watching tour. Guides went out of their way to make sure we saw an extraordinary number of species (301 when we expected mid-200s).

Guides were terrific, and also good company. Dealt with a medical situation very efficiently and empathetically. Very full days and could probably use a little more down time. No hidden costs or commercial pressure to buy anything. Variety of habitats excellent, with over 350 species seen. Travel and accommodation well arranged with a very accommodating bus driver who became part of the team. Ken Musgrave, Ontario, Canada.

More than met my expectations for SERIOUS birding. Our guide, Hector Gomez de Silva, was very good at putting us on target birds and managing al the logistics of lodging, meals and travel, which were first class. His great knowledge of Mexican birds and attention to detail make him a great asset to Eagle Eye Tours. I highly recommend this tour for anyone wishing to see a good number of birds, the various habitats where they are found, and a good deal of southern Mexico.

Great guide who was an expert on all the birds of southern Mexico and where to find them, perfect logistics and accommodations, and fantastic introduction to every habitat of all 4 states visited. We saw 353 species of birds and travelled about 2800 km. Highly recommended!

I've done two birdwatching trips with this company, to Newfoundland and Peninsular Malaysia, both of which were new locations for me as far as birding is concerned. I'd thoroughly recommend them. In both cases the trips were well planned, the support from the office staff was good throughout the booking process, the itineraries were interesting, and the guides excellent. Some companies' birding tours can be a gruelling experience; as far as I'm concerned, Eagle-Eye gets the balance right.

A good trip, though the drives were a bit long. We saw 20 whooping cranes and lots of other birds. The two guides were very knowledgeable and found us birds we would never have found on our own. Considering where we went, I don’t know how the infrequent bathroom breaks could be solved.

It was a great tour. 11 of us plus two excellent leaders. They were very knowledgeable and friendly and competent. We saw whooping cranes , which was wonderful, and about 100 other bird species plus red fox, otters and ground squirrels and butterflies. The days were long and rewarding.

Guides, accommodations, and meals all excellent. Daily itineraries chosen to find the most birds as well as those that take the most local knowledge.

I thoroughly enjoyed my Eagle-Eye Tour to New Brunswick and Grand Manan in August 2017! Our group bird count was approximately 125 birds - I ticked 40-odd life birds off my list, including my target sea birds! We also enjoyed whale, seal and porpoise sitings; lovely flowers and butterfly species in the beautiful scenic province. Jared Clark was an exceptional guide - patient, good humoured and an extremely knowledgeable birder and lover of nature. He did his best to make sure everyone in our group had their eye on the bird in sight! This was my first Eagle-Eye Tour and am sure it will not be my last!

I did this trip as part of a ten week holiday and of all the tours this was the definite highlight. Being a small company, I found the direct interaction with Cam a great help to decide whether this was the trip I wanted to do. The trip itself was very well organised and exceptional for the price. The accommodation was in basic tents, but exactly what I wanted for a real outdoors adventure. We were well looked after by the local guides who were very helpful and friendly and made us some very delicious meals - not your average camping food! We saw many Narwhal and about 5 polar bears. I considered a number of other similar trips through other companies, and I definitely think I made the best choice by going with Eagle Eye Tours. Highly recommended!

Well organized, excellent guide (Adam Walleyn). Helpful local guides. The fact that the trip was organized in a small group (8 people) made it very special. Truly unforgettable..

This was a private tour. Our participation was solicited by the tour leader with whom we had traveled in the past. Our group consisted of 8 travelers, our leader, and our Inuit hosts. We participated primarily for the opportunity to see harwhals. We had many terrific sightings of narwhals, some in very close proximity. We also had wonderful close encounters with polar bears. Unusual sightings included a Stellar's eider and an Ivory gull (but no dovekies!). We had informative visits to the bird cliffs and to some ancient Inuit sod huts on Bylot Island that incorporated whale vertebrae into the walls of the huts. We had a wonderful time. Wildlife sightings were stellar and our group was congenial and committed to spending time on the ice. We would highly recommend this trip.

Wonderful tour starting in Elk Island National Park, on to Yellowknife and then to Cambridge Bay. Our guides were thoughtful experts and the small group, 12 participants and 2 guides, was very condusive to our being flexible. All accomodations were comfortably and the tour was extremely well organized. I found the schedule a little packed and would have preferred a bit more personal time in the mornings and evenings based on my energy level but other participants were quite happy to be busy the whole time. A big thank you to our 2 excellent guides and an efficient tour company. We saw an amazing number of interesting birds and also observed and identified other wildlife including mammals, butterflies and wild flowers.

Terrific combination of dinosaurs and birds. Guides extremely knowledgeable on both. Very personable. Itinerary flowed well. Terrific views of the birds, obtained most targets! Paying for our dinners separately a pain, include in one price.

The Netherlands & Belgium: Birds, Art & Architecture May 2017 was a very enjoyable tour. Our Guide was professional, very knowledgeable, patient and fun. Our small group allowed a degree of flexibility during the days which was nice. The itinerary was outstanding. We saw so much of Holland which you wouldn't normally see going on your own. The birding was excellent. It would have been nice to have the Art and Architecture aspect a bit better incorporated as we were left mostly to discover that on our own while in cities, towns or museums/galleries. Having said that, I really enjoyed being able to see what we did during the tour. It was a really nice combination. The hotels we stayed in were very good and well located near towns/cities. The breakfasts were very good that each hotel provided. Our lunch stops were in towns during the day and it was nice to go to something a little different each time. Dinner was mainly in the hotel dining rooms which were very good. We had a couple of dinners out. A couple of comments - 1) although tricky, the guide should be firm about seat rotation in the van. If a client is booking a road tour they should clearly understand that they will have to move around to be fair to all the participants. 2) the guide shouldn't have to manage a food budget in front of the clients. The tour should be priced to include the costs. Most tours don't include lunch so perhaps this could be eliminated so the food budget won't be exceeded. No one on our tour would have objected. Overall a very enjoyable time and a great way to see this part of the world and the birds. Thank you Eagle Eye.

The tour was well organized with excellent food and accommodations with first rate guides and a comfortable bus with an excellent driver. We covered every altitude from Crocodile infested mangroves through middle altitudes of rainforest to dryer rain shadows and up to the highest forests in central Costa rica.Covering all Costa Rican ecosystems gave us exposure to the maximum amount of birds. We counted well over 300 species, our guide was remarkable at finding and Identifying birds as well as the fauna and plants.I would certainly recommend this tour to anyone seriously interested in birding.

I went on the 2016 "Into the NorthWest Passage" trip. All pre-trip organising by Eagle-Eye Tours was smooth and efficient, with the friendliest of staff. As Eagle Eye Tours is a small family-run company, I felt like I was part of them when we were on the Ocean Adventure ship. Eagle-Eye owners, with their children, were in the zodiac with me when we were surrounded by 50 belugas! A once in a lifetime experience!
