“They give cars with worn tires, flashing lights on the dashboard and the whole cars scratched and hit, and the staff behaves disrespectfully and rudely and you always wait a long time until you get the car, and for the deposit you wait at least a month at all if they return it at all.”

“SCAM. STOLE 8000 BGN.
Rented one of their expensive cars on Nov 8, 23 from Sofia Airport. Paid double so i can get full insurance coverage. Started driving towards Plovdiv and some kind of animal (a dog i think) jumped in front of the vehicle. They told me to call 112 and have the officers write a protocol. 2 officers from Pazardjik came and refused to give me a protocol (after taking an alcohol test and pictures of my documents) because apparently they couldn't see the animal (it apparently survived and ran off the road). Company told me not to worry and sent me a tow truck to take the car back to the airport. There they made me pay 9000 BGN because the officers didn't give me a document (protocol) and assured me MULTIPLE TIMES that the money will be returned within 10 business days. After more than 15 business days i call back looking for my money and they said they will not be returning it because i didn't give them a document from the officers (protocol) and that their insurance won't pay for the damages without that document. I asked what their insurance provider is and they told me "Lev Ins", then proceeded to hang up the phone and block my number. I, then, called "Lev Ins" and asked them about their procedures and had a long conversation with a nice lady that assured me they DO NOT require such a document, but merely a call to 112, which they can obtain records for themselves. My mistake was that i blindly put trust in this company. After being away from Bulgaria for 10+ years i can see that nothing has changed and the same type of scumbags are still the majority in there. Even in their "Terms and Conditions" on their website under section 5 you can see point 1.1 where they say that if a Protocol is not provided from the Authorities - you are responsible for the damages. Screw the customer, right? All that matters is that we steal some money. Well, karma is will eventually get them i'm sure, but in the meantime i'll be hiring lawyers, because that's what civilized people do.”
