02/04/2021 BUYER BEWARE - ebay does not back buyers any more! seller guaranteed next day delivery but seller did not ship it till next day. ebay blamed the USPS - WTF!! seller shipped book rate. it went to 5 (FIVE) different USPS facilities in one state. I immediately asked ebay to 'step in' and because the item was delivered (five days late) ebay closed my request for a refund -- again WTF! the seller is advertising for something they do not do. that is fraudulent and misrepresentation! and ebay is okay with it! AGAIN - BUYER BEWARE!!

I got an empty box instead of camera I ordered. I paid 510GBP. I was told multiple times on the calls with customer service that I will get a refund. I'm attaching a transcript from one of the chat with ebay, where I'm explicitly told that I will get the refund. The last time I spoke to them was yesterday and I was told that my refund is being processed for me and I'll get money by today's afternoon. But today I got an e-mail saying the case is closed and I won't get money back. I called again and received the same information but with different explanation. eBay = FRAUDULENT COMPANY. Stay away

Banned from Ebay for an unfair fee of £17.50 they refused to refund me. If you want fun, read the chat (third one) It was an item I cancelled 2 years ago, they still kept it update so someone tried to buy it, then has been refunded, but I was still supposed to pay the fees. Meanwhile, my account has been blocked, such as my linked Paypal account I cannot use anymore.

So I oder something. It Neverending arrived. Because the courier decided to be lazy and delivered ut infront of my lobby door where everyone gets access to the item.. Purolator told me they deliver it so its not there problem.. I contacted the seller. And he told me to file a police report. Wtf. I told them I need a refund or another item. They ignored me after that so I reported it to ebay. But as soon as the seller told them it was delivered because the courier update states that. Ebay closed my case so lost everything. Money and item . There no guarantee that if the courier fucks up ebay will help u. So ebay takes no responsibility.. if u call Amazon. And there delivery does that Amazon refund or delivers another package.. now im sitting here with no money to buy another break pads for my truck.. and especially now where I'm struggling to get by.. ebay doesn't care.. do not shop from ebay because if anything happens to package. Ebay won't help u

Ebay Commits FRAUD! Twice ebay has changed the Guaranteed Delivery date after the item was delivered late just to cheat their customers of the $5 fee. Their customer no service just made excuses even though they confirmed that the computer changed the date. then they lied and said it was an estimated date to which I corrected that "estimated" is the normal delivery, this was GUARANTEED! The latest item was #402584674229.

eBay cheated me out of $70 with indifference and stupidity. The short version is that I logged into eBAY, UPDATED MY MAILING ADDRESS, purchased an item, and they told me they would send it to an old address they had populated from elsewhere. I immediately informed them, and eBay said, we don't care, tell the seller. Their contact info for the seller was inaccurate, so I had to hunt them down. I found the seller and contacted them, and they said we don't care, we're going to mail it to this old address eBay supplied. I contacted the post office, but they said the shipper had not made available any means to intercept or redirect the package, even if I paid extra. The item was lost forever. eBay said the seller probably didn't see my message until after it was sent - but the seller replied to my message, which was sent within at most 20 minutes of seeing that eBay intended to ship my package to a wrong address rather than the one I had given them. They stole $70+ from me, and gave me nothing in return. Please never, ever try to buy anything from eBay. You will regret it.

Dealing with eBay was one of the most frustrating and unbelievably corrupt companies I have ever experienced in my life. There’s absolutely no customer support- in fact you can’t even contact them. I basically sold an item to a customer who canceled the sale after it was confirmed eBay did not notify me that they had canceled it until after two days after I had already shipped this heavy item for $120. The shipping label that eBay was supposed to supply, did not work and I could not reach customer service. I was forced to spend an exorbitant amount to ship this item. Two days after I shipped it I received a message that the buyer had canceled the order then I received a notice the buyer was claiming the order the item was not working properly And requested a refund. I tried communicating with the seller but I feel that it was a scam from the get go. Basically if a buyer cancels an order after the seller ships, and then complains that the order item is not working properly the seller loses everything. This buyer basically stole my $1500 item and eBay did absolutely nothing to resolve the matter.I feel violated- I feel betrayed -I feel taken advantage of -I feel robbed. Do not work with eBay -they suck!!!!!!!!!! I communicated extensively with the buyer and eBay via messenger but was basically given the blah blah blah. I am out my item -I am out the shipping cost and I got nothing in return. The buyer got my item for free. This is unreal! Customer service number is disconnected! There is no human working behind the screens.

IM BEING DISCRIMINATED AGAINST. TRYING TO FORCE ME TO GET THE APP AND TO USE PAYPAL. I HAVE OFFERS I CAN'T RESPOND TO. MAKING ME LOOK BAD DESTROYING MY REPUTATION AS A BUYER. Unfortunately eBay has shown itself to be an absolutely unreliable company that deceives it customers by going back on legally binding promises, and allowing sellers to harass, intimidate and stalk buyers with death threats and racist comments. Below just find a few of the messages (with red circles around them) one of their sellers has been sending me; all of these are forwarded by eBay to my e-mail address, making it nearly impossible to continue trading (not that I'd want to after this experience). Despite numerous attempts eBay refuses to block or take any action against this user. They say this behaviour is absolutely okay and permitted on their platform. eBay however did promise me to refund all the money for this transaction on October 8th (seller had violated at least 3 clauses of eBay's own selling policy), based on which I made several decisions that cost me money. But today, suddenly, they went back on that promise, because... this organization's left hand has no idea what its right hand is doing. Have a look at these screenshots and draw your own conclusions. Please be very aware of what you're getting yourself into once things on this platform go wrong.

I ordered a Dewalt 20V lithium battery but got generic ones that don’t fit my Dewalt charger. Again eBay got me. This was a $70 lesson. I will not buy thru eBay again. I pray the people working at eBay and the battery company have negative things happen to them

My experience with seller Zinc Decor could not have been better! There was constant communication, very quick shipping and SUPERB customer “relationship building”—not just customer service! Stephanie was always available or, at the very least, incredibly prompt returning PHONE calls and/or emails! (Yes, Virginia, some sellers still use phones!) Once I receive the items (2 chairs—$2000) i was beyond impressed! They are quality through and through and delivery company was top-notch, white glove service! I will absolutely buy from zinc decor for my future furniture needs!

Ebay has draconian way of doing business they let whom they feel to sell a certain item and block out the others-i have seen sellers with the same item get blocked by ebay they have their chosen- You cannot appeal once they "deem" whatever item according to their outdated guidelines-which you may get restricted for 7 to 30 days even though others are rampant selling the same or worse items-They have no loyalty whatsoever i saw my friend a "top" seller on ebay we're talking over 6 figures get penalized for a pokemon card!!!! They make the dictators of the world look like boy scouts-customer service is useless to call to try to get your account re-instated me i have been on e bay over 17 years over 1400 transactions-100% feedback----same happens to me even when they are wrong you still have to be penalized because even though they admit they are wrong they do not take the penalized time off so you are serving time without committing a crime go figure-ebay is a good platform but lacks seller protection as unscrupulous buyers abound and vice versa- BUT WHEN AMAZON LAUNCHES THEIR VERSION ON LINE AUCTIONS I CAN TELL YOU THIS I WILL BE ONE OF THE FIRST ONE'S TO LEAVE and all the sellers that will follow then maybe when their stocks start dropping like it did a couple of weeks ago to $52 a share you will see them running to try to circle the wagons sort to say. Because the shares will drop faster then a bad habit----all of the top in ebay are out of touch with the real sellers and buyers----PLUS Suspending people in these times when the world is upside down and people are unemployed and need money shows the callousness of the people who run it and the lack of being a "peoples company"......THEY ARE DICTATORS AND USE A DRACONIAN WAY----But like all things you're time will come to pass i can promise you that......Personally i was restricted for a 70 year old hat which most likely is a "jealous" seller which happens but ebay allows that they do not question the whistleblower so to say or verify they are accurate---one day it will happen...

DO NOT USE EBAY TO SELL!!!! I used ebay to sell an item. Long story short the item was "returned" to me without my authorization. (They ended up sending it to the wrong address so I never got the item back) I was charged ebay "seller fees" despite not actually making a sale. When I questioned ebay they told me the case was closed and I was required to pay the seller fees. I spent over an hour conversing with them. Eventually I asked supervisor "emeric" if ethically he thought this was right. After doging the question he outright ended the chat! They will hang up on you and offer no help, they dont protect their buyers in any way. See photos below for proof of chat

Closed dispute without getting all information sided with Buyer not too concerned that i only got half my order could not send pics of packing slip showing that the tracking number was for a different order they just keep saying my order was delivered and giving me the single tracking number very very unsatisfied . When I tried to appeal it just keep taking me in circles and never could file an appeal tried chatting but they said they couldn't do anything I had to file an appeal once again I felt they just blowed me off. Will never never use ebay agin.

DONT USE If you ever pay extra for 24hr delivery and it will take 3-4 days for you parcel to arrive, any dispute eBay will not refund your money for extra delivery charge. Very unfair, money went nowhere as free shipping wouldve arrived same time.

Be careful with eBay that really doesn’t care about their customer. One of the experience that I have is the seller was harassing me and ebay did nothing. The seller even emailed me in my email out side ebay calling me nasty names I send a copy to the ebay email, of course he denied.. but what he text me I can tell plus my email is private. They did nothing about it. I tried to contact them could not. I going to close my, cause I am worry about my safety. I would just keep Amazon. Ebay is not good at all. They really don’t care about the customer.

If you do business with EBay, don’t expect eBay customers service to help you. Contact your card company and dispute the charge. My order past estimate delivery by 15 days and seller keep extending the delivery days (3 time) . eBay customers service agreed and put my case on hold . eBay phone line is not working and it’s no way that you can talk to live service . Stay away from this scam company.

Yesturday I attempted to change the payment method for ebay fees, there was an issue, I contacted customer services and some while later I was told the problem lay with my bank. It does not. I emailed ebay to re-address the issue, in their reply they suggested I post screen shot images of the page containing my bank details of a third party free image hosting site so they can review them. Obviously i did not do that. ebay must know that advice such as this must be verging on the criminally negligent! It is beyond belief that any company in this day and age could even think of proposing such a course of action. I will be closing my account with them immediately.
