“2017-12-11 At first, I was upset after ordering a 6TB Seagate External HD for what I thought was 'Next Day', this being within time on Friday: I had inadvertently gone through a link for another Hard Drive offering Next Day Free Delivery: My Mistake. It was the Weekend and on Tracking saw it was not out for Delivery until the following Friday! I needed that Drive asap as I was away from home after a family loss and needed to back up my laptop hard drive. Unfortunately, Ebuyer doesn't work weekends - I had no alternative but to wait until Monday and the other supplier I use couldn't supply what I needed within the time frame. I waited until today Monday and phoned Ebuyer: I got through to Scott, who was very helpful when I explained my situation and offered to get the Hard Drive to me by next day without charge due to my misinterpretation: Because of this help I considered whether I should get two Hard Drives as I have a lot of Data to transfer with other back up hard drives: Scott suggested I order straight away as he saw the stock levels were down to the last in their stock of this particular hard drive: on his advise I ordered and it too is due for delivery tomorrow. Looking back over the years I've used Ebuyer it reminded me on each occasion, the Customer Service has been exemplary - thank you Ebuyer at least I have a UK based Customer Service and not being sent around the world, often on, literally, a wild goose chase feeling stressed. So with a Delivery set for Tomorrow - let's hope, in all this Pre Xmas Delivery Mania that the Hard Drives arrive and I can get back on track. “The whole shopping experience was stress free from looking into a laptop i was searching for and how clear the technical descriptions were for someone is not an expert on, and the price compared to other online retailers was good. From start to finish in deciding which laptop to go for in my price range and actually purchasing it along with a suggested item which we were going to start looking for which was a plug and play hard drive took no longer than 15 mins which was brilliant, i will definately use and reccomend Ebuyer again. “One of the most difficult places to actually buy something. Placed the order from my phone. No guest checkout. Okay put in my details - I was already registered but couldn’t remember my password and no option to reset. Had to use a new email/ password. Still difficult to navigate through the menus. Even the expiry date on my credit card wasn’t obvious on this site. The development team should be shot - never used a website that made it so difficult to checkout. Had previous good delivery experiences otherwise i’d Have stopped. Shame on the web team for making shopping difficult. Don’t think many 20-something’s would have bothered continuing.”
