“Ordered timber from this company to the value of £160 and upon doing job noticed that several lengths of wood were split & unusuable.
After telephoning the company on a premiun rate line ! I was advised that I would have to log onto their website to raise a support ticket no first !! After this palava I was advised that because I hadn't taken any pictures of the wood split that I was only entitled to a credit on their website for future purchases. Due to the expensive delivery charges it is not worth ordering anything !
Would I use this company again DEFINITELY NOT !”
“Your delivery driver just dumped the pergola in my front garden and didn't let me know that it had been delivered. We were all in at the time but he didn't have the decency to even knock on the door to allow us to check if anything was missing. Also there is no fixing for fixing the post holders down onto the deck. For the money I have paid for this product I can honestly say that I wouldn't recommend your company to anyone else!”
“samples were far to small 70-100m (150mm should be the minimum and there should be more than one of each so you can at least put them down in 2-3 rows so you can a proper prospective of the gaps etc”

No further contact was received to say when to expect my items, despite emailing and calling edecks
I had no idea the items had been delivered. They were dumped on my front lawn, no note was pushed through and no one knocked
All the boards were soaking wet and left on an area of lawn I have recently reseeded and has flattened the new growth.
In summary, I am thoroughly unimpressed by this experience of edecks. ”
“Ordered 20 lengths of decking, 3 tins of Ronseal timber treatment and 2 boxes of decking screws. Plus points: decking and timber treatment arrived 1 day after estimated delivery day and all in good condition. Negative points: delivery driver did not ring/knock on door, wife went out for a walk and realised stuff had been delivered. 2 x boxes of screws missing but unable to dispute at time of delivery. Engaged Edecks and was provided with photo from delivery showing box of screws next to decking boards but did not acknowledge when I argued that I was not notified of delivery. Ended with them requesting me to file a theft report to police knowing fine well I would not do that as it would be a waste of police time. Really disappointing customer service, will not use again.”
“We received our decking kit within good time and on initial inspection could not see any immediate problems.
We found that the instructions provided on your website were less than helpful. We also found that there were no spacers within the packaging and the spacing provided within the instructions did not match the amount of boards needed. When fitting all the boards were bowed with holes in, which made it extremely difficult. We understand that we had ordered a reject set, we would not recommend this to anyone else as it definitely was not fit for purpose. From your website we understood that a reject set might have not been the best quality, however we weren't expecting all the boards to have issues.
we also ordered membrane from yourselves which came in a very odd shape, forcing ourselves to do patchwork underneath the decking. we also ordered 4 fascia boards, however we had to use two of these for the decking boards due to not having enough and one being completely snapped.
We contacted them about this, however due to ourselves already putting the decking up and therefore having no photos. they are refusing to do anything.”
“The product was ordered easily and delivered on time. Just be warned - lazy, sloppy, delivery service. Don't lull yourself into thinking that if you fill in the 'delivery instructions box' asking where you would like the product left if you are out, that that will have any bearing on where they put it! A friend called me to say that they were leaving it on the path to my front door. I had requested that it it be left a few feet away, behind a gate, still in front of the property, but then out of view of passers by.
I spoke to the delivery man on my friend's phone and asked him to please read the instructions stating where I would like it deposited. I told him that I have a back injury and my husband has problems of his own and he could not possibly move them alone. He said that his job was to "put everything to the door" and he wasn't prepared to move anything. So he and his team carried on putting heavy timbers across the path, in front of the gate. Now we are left with a load of timber that neither my husband nor I can move, for the sake of a 3-4 mins extra effort from the team of three strong men delivering it, who should have read the instructions in the first place! Emailed eDecks who offered me 10% off my NEXT order. There isn't going to be another order from us!”
“Ordered some roofing material for the shed on my allotment. The ridge tiles were visibly damaged on delivery, though usable. 3 of the roofing sheets had cracks which I only noticed when laying them out on the shed after carrying them there.
Tried twice to report the issue via the website without success but eventually got through on the phone.
I felt that as I had effectively had a wasted day plus the hassle of carrying the sheets around that they should be replaced without me having to carry them back again however customer care stuck by the 'letter of the law' and insisted they collect the defective items before replacing/rebating. I feel they could have been a bit more flexible given the inconvenience I had had.”
“Bought 2 of reject deck kits. They seemed really good value however both the joists and decking are simply too flimsy. I have had to put posts absolutely everywhere to try and avoid flexing and have bought more joists locally because they are supplied to fit every 600mm which isn't enough for this ultra thin material. Also I had 2 deliveries because I changed the design and neither driver gave me a call 1 hour before delivery like they say. Communication is generally poor.
After buying the extra joists from a local wood yard (they won't sell 3.5 X 1.5 wood as decking joists) I will only use them from now on.
Yet another point: I bought some seperate reject decking to use elsewhere and this was really poor quality compared to the reject decking kits material. Some is unusable.”
“I ordered the 4.2 by 4.2 reject decking kit says it up to manufacturer standards but didn't quite fit the grade due to twists and knots I thought ok! I found website through google thought it looked very good and sounded like they were very helpful as call anytime for advice and stuff the decking kit came with 10 joist and said put between 300mm and 600mm apart well 300mn would only cover half decking and 600mm made decking bouncy in between boards I was not happy tried to ring customer service number and got told it's only email enquiries so emailed them which they were the most unhelpful I have ever encountered and all they kept saying was we have lots of people buying this with no problems I had bits of decking with chunks took out as well which I had to cut down which in the end led to me ordering another £100 worth of joists and decking planks which then took total to £450 errrr don't think I'll be ordering again as not very explanitary and customer service are shocking!!!!!”
“Deck boards were very badly split, only see this when we put the decking down. We had a second delivery which I waited all day for which never came and I had to contact you to find out why!”

“I am a housewife not a trades person. I looked at various websites and found yours to be reasonable. I ordered reject decking as it was an area we would not use very often. When the Carpenter arrived he sent me this email "all material substandard, I would not supply this quality. The bearers are to thin, the fence panels are cheap and nasty and I do not think I have seen worse, the decking boards although reject are just about fit to make a pallet". I was of course very shocked to hear this as the order was quite substantial (over £600). I await to hear from you.
